Bryan is the absolute best waiter/bartender! My girl and I love him! He’s always there when we need him, patient with us, giving out options, and is just overall sweet and adorable. Pork sliders are the best! If Bryan wasn’t there neither would I be. One of the other guys is kinda creepy, he literally ran after us while we were leaving because he «thought» we were mad when it was obvious we weren’t, just trynna make flirt talk but anyways we overall love Bryan!

If I could give this place negative reviews I would. In Seattle for a family vacation and thought this would be a cute place to grab a drink. Biggest asshole bartender I have ever met. Asked if he had a certain type of gin and his response was«do you see Hendricks back there? Do you think I have a trap door?» Not in a funny or witty way either. & That was just the beginning of the conversation… ended up leaving and not ordering anything. Was not going to pay for that kind of service. Scruffy bearded guy with a pony tale. AVOIDATALLCOST& should do yourself a favor and fire him. Losing money with assholes like him representing your bar.

This set a new level of low-bar for complete chaos and lack of coordination. I wish we knew what the food was like: we had to leave after 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting, with 3 reminders to the staff that our food hadn’t come out. We’ll give it one star for the gorgeous weather on Memorial Day: they earned it.

Us locals are glad to see this place is a cleaned up version of the previous establishment. I remember a much sketchy population coming through here. Standing on its own merits however this is a lack luster excuse for a sports bar on the water front. Everything is just extraordinarily basic. One page menu, boring food, uninspired drinks, mediocre service, televisions that are too small and décor that a dude said«sure.» It’s all BASIC. Nothing that even kind of wows you. No fine collection of microbrews, no mixologist specials. I guess if you like a basic dive bar like feel on alki. This is your place.

Really great food! Great environment, food, music and friendly service. I feel bad in writing this but the wait time was quite long for our food. If you come here you can expect good food and drinks but make sure you’re not under any time constraints. Came in on a sunny Tuesday afternoon with only one very nice server working. There were about five other customers besides us. It took about 50 minutes for our tacos and about an hour and five minutes for our appetizer. We ordered our appetizer first but actually got our entrée first. Our server said she would make the appetizer on her(which we didn’t ask for) but only took a couple dollars off. We didn’t put up a fuss, but why offer to pay for something and then not follow through? I only recommend this place because it was a nice, relaxing place to be but the wait time was a little too long for what we anticipated and had time for.

Food was awesome and staff went above and beyond to make my dining a 5 star! Came here Monday afternoon for lunch in the patio. Our server welcomed us with menus, water and an welcoming personality.(I can’t remember her name but she had a barcode tattoo on her arm) My friend and I loved the recommendation on our food choices and the friendliness of the staff is the reason why this is my first Unilocal review! Thanks again and see you soon!

this place is so horrible. the food was inedible. I ordered a cubano sandwich. I think the bread was a large hot dog bun. Went in starving and ate less than half my sandwich. The person I was with ordered the nachos and that was also cleared with the majority of the food still on the plate(how do you mess up nachos?). The employees were a little slow, but fine and friendly. The good news is my pint of Manny’s was great, but that’s more a review of georgetown brewery than it is of the Alki Huddle. I didn’t think that Bamboo could get any worse, and I’m not sure if it’s worse or the same. I live locally and see absolutely no reason to go back, ever. There are better restaurants than the huddle on either side of them on the same block, and more down the street. I’ll walk past this place multiple times a week, and yet I’ll never go back in.

Food was okay– service was awful!!! Waited ½ hour to order, then longer for the food and forever to get our check. Not to mention never receiving my drink I ordered at the beginning of the meal. They had one guy running the whole place and he was constantly confused and wandering around looking for people. Menu is very limited but hey do have a decent kids menu. Definitely will not be going back. It’s too bad as they have a prime real estate spot.

Food was great!!! That I’ll give a 5 star! But the service was not good, I sat there and watched my food in the window, my table never got checked on, the cook had to get are plates, and I didn’t get asked if I would like another drink …

Decent new place, but nothing overly compelling. Lots of TV screens(great) & pool tables. Food was average and overpriced. Lots of concrete walls, so it gets loud fast. Nice addition to Alki scene. Would like to see it survive, but jury’s out…

It’s a chill little spot. I’m sure it’s different during the summer, but I’d go back.

Went here one time before tonight. Wasn’t impressed either time. The food we had was decent and fairly expensive for what we got. Not a big deal at all. The bar tender that night was friendly and waiting on us at the tables, which is the only reason why they got a second star. The main reason for the low rating is due to tonight. We went in just to grab a drink before we headed out to the movies to only be told that they were closing early. The reason being that it was the day after thanksgiving and it had been slow all day. Honestly what kind of bar closes early on a Friday night when the majority of people have a 4 day weekend? I see this place being open for another couple of months

Meh. Alki Huddle is new to West Seattle and has some growing to do. They clearly put all their attention and budget on the space: lots of tables and bar space, TONS of big screens so every patron can see the game no matter where they sit. Now they need to invest in their menu. It’s a small one, which is fine; that can mean that they make a few things really really well. But that’s not the case here. They either need to lower their prices or improve quality and portions of food. For example, I ordered a dinner sized Caesar salad for $ 9.99 and was disappointed at how small and mediocre it was. The rest of our group felt similarly; no one was particularly happy with their food. With the great number of places to meet and eat with friends around WS, The Alki Huddle is going to have to up the ante to stay in business. The owner/GM might want to visit Rookies in Columbia City for an example of a great sports pub and much better menu/quality/value. With some adjustments, this could become a good neighborhood hangout. But I won’t be back anytime soon.

I come to this place occasionally for drinks, the place is clean and has a nice modern look to it. The staff there are pretty friendly and and they are attentive to making sure that everyone is good. I haven’t ate the food there to say much about it. I really like the outdoor seating here, it has a nice view of the beach especially when its night time. Prices on the drinks are a little bit more than the usual, they also have a good selection of beer there on draft.

Limited menu and food that tastes like shoe leather and is not something I ever need to subject myself to again! So I go to the beach today for a meeting and bite and I see a new place open. Kinda odd only two other humans are in the place and there not even eating. I look at menu and it’s limited(big hint) I should have bailed. I’m order the chim churi steak and anxiously wait. It shows up and I think«DAMN that looks amazing» and then I eat and it’s tasteless, not very hot and downright disappointing. Rice was no biggie and I have no idea what green blob of stuff was on the plate. What a waste of $ 20. I’m scared for life based on my choice and to think 20ft away was THESUNFISH, wahhhhhhh… As you can tell I won’t be going back EVER!!!

My wife and I walked in with our 21 yr old nephew from California. They refused to serve him since his license was vertically oriented! Have you heard of anything as asinine?! The mgr wouldn’t bend the obviously stupid house rule. I won’t be back regardless of who I’m with, the state they’re from or the orientation of their damn license.

This restaurant has the WORST customer service EVER. We were invisible to all the waiters in that restaurant. They just left us sit there for like 15 minutes and the restaurant was not crowded at all. We then decided to leave the restaurant and again … nobody cared. If you don’t care about your customers, why would you open a restaurant?

The new Alki Huddle exceeds all expectations! I will be the first to admit that I didn’t have much interest in visiting because I thought, it would be Bamboo with a little face-lift. I was wrong. The place looks clean, fresh yet darker with cool lighting. There was not one piece of tacky Bamboo décor to be found :) We went on a Saturday afternoon and as soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. Jessica was behind the bar and we got talking with her about the change and how nice it looked. She explained that she was the GM and she spoke highly of the owner, she certainly will make you proud! In the 10 minutes she spoke to us about the changes, we were hooked. We will be back and I would love to have Alki Huddle as my local, a place where you could go with a group of friends or family or on a date. Jessica showed us the new«fresh, ingredient» menu and it looks great, it is small and not an overwhelming book of pre-heated crappy food that Bamboo had. A couple sitting next to us ordered a burger each and WOW, it looked amazing! After our awful burger we had just had elsewhere, we certainly will be back here! I am not one for sports bars but this place looked chic, they have several flat screens with more to come and had a selection of different sports playing, there was no guy hogging the remote at the end of the bar and the noise level was perfect! Jessica said they will be now closing at 12 to avoid the crowds they attracted when it was Bamboo. They seem proud of the new place and I think we are all welcoming the change with open arms. Kudos to you for: Great food on a smaller menu, fantastic staff who smile and say hello/goodbye, a classy looking deck area, wonderful paint job inside the bar, not having karaōke and for welcoming all ages. We will be back and the word will spread. Well done Alki Huddle — Well Done!!! :)

This is the new restaurant replacing The Bamboo — so really there’s nowhere to go but up! Stopped in for lunch and to check it out. They are still in the«soft opening» stage so things are still under construction. I took that into account when scoring my review. Jose checked us in and shoes us to our table. He is also the bartender and made me a delicious Blue Margarita. Seriously, it was one of the best I’ve tasted. We ordered the Chicharrones appetizer. It was juicy and yummy! The pork was crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. A bite of pork, grape tomato, and arugula was a little bite of porky heaven. For the main course we both chose the Huddle Burger. The bun was nicely toasted and the caramelized onions were in perfect proportion to the burger itself. While we both ordered the burger medium rare, it was cooked to medium. However, it was very flavorful so medium vs medium rare made no difference in the end. The fries(and I’m not really a big fries fan) were really very good. Crispish outside, just the right saltiness and clean tasting. No old oil taste here! The service was very friendly albeit a bit slow. Took a while after we were finished to get a box and the check. There was only one server plus Jose. They could’ve moved a little faster, but then again they are still getting set up so I don’t want to be harsh there. Overall yes, I would go again and support their efforts to step up the game there. Jose assured me there would be none of the«shenanigans» that were the downfall of the previous restaurant. They are remaking the outdoor dining space(which the previous restaurant failed to capitalize on) and adding patio heaters(thank you!!) and some sort of shade(again, thank you!) They also replaced the front windows so the whole front of the restaurant can open up. Smart move! It will be interesting to see how they develop but I encourage you to give them a try. Prices seemed reasonable and you can beat the location.
