Free Wi-Fi…in a grocery store? Dude… how cool is that? All kinds of necessities… and the cashier was a nice guy… very friendly. If I lived in the neighborhood I would frequent this place.:)

A unique family grocery store that treats their customers like potential friends of the community in a way that is respectful and down-to-earth. A very humanized business.

Since the last review the store has gotten new owners, and new workers, and its awesome. I love having a local grocery store I can walk to, and give my money to local people. The store is always filled and the people are so nice in there. I love going in there for a good cup of coffee(they have an espresso machine!) and to check my email. Because they have 3 computers usually one is availible. Thanks for being so awesome you guys!

Things were ok when I first walked into this place — items were easy to find though their goods are a little sparse. There were about five people there. Two were behind the counter and three were hanging out and talking to the people behind the counter. I was buying ice cream, and the woman at the counter didn’t look at me or acknowledge me when she was ringing me up, she just kept talking to the other people in the place. I actually had to apologize for interrupting so I could ask her for a bag. Nobody was mean at all, but I’d say if they want return business they should act like their customers exist during a transaction. All the best and good luck though — my brother said it is run by a rehab organization and that they mostly cell ciggies. But he lives about five blocks away and he’d love to have a good convenience store near him.
