Part of their regular business practice to overcharge and disagree with you about the charges even though they are clearly written on their menu, eaten there 20 times over the last year as it’s right next to my work and it’s hard to leave the office for long, but every single time they overcharge, whether it’s $.50c or $ 1.50. Not listed on the Better Business Bureau website. I don’t appreciate being told that the extra $ is taxes and dismissed, I see that my item rings up as $ 9, then you add tax, when for example an item was $ 8 on the menu then add tax. Terrible practice considering they are right next door to a cancer treatment center and a lot of healthcare workers and patients eat here, and I’ve seen others overcharged and complaining. Regardless of location and good food, I will no longer give them my business. Rude staff when ordering as well, they mumble and rush through and don’t even give you all the options included for your item.

I’ve been here several times and I’m finally pissed enough to speak up. I’m tired of going in here, ordering the same thing every time and getting charged different prices than what’s listed on their menu board! Today, there was a customer that was also overcharged by two dollars! The customer didn’t notice that he was overcharged, but I did. I should have said something to him. I will NOT go back to this place. When I got back to work and told my co-workers about my experence they said the same thing had happened to them, they refuse to go there anymore. I will join them in the boycott.

We wandered in here after having sandwich overload from several days of potbelly. I decided to have the asado platter which basically was a DIY burrito platter of rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, guacamole and meat. It was delicious, but also slightly more expensive than just getting a burrito and I think just slightly more meat. There were four different kinds of salsas, but I highly recommend the smoky chipotle salsa which had a nice balance of smokiness and spice, and wasn’t too hot, even for a capsaicin wimp like me. Parking in the area is a little difficult since it’s right by Swedish First Hill, but if you already have an appointment in the area or are visiting someone at the hospital, I highly recommend checking out this place! It’s right next to the Nordstrom Tower of the hospital. If you have more than 4 people in your party, I’d suggest doing take out as there aren’t too many tables in the place, and most of them are 2 seaters.

Pretty good for a quick lunch, I ordered shrimp tacos. They were quick and nice in there, they have a lot to offer which is nice. I’m excited to try the calamari taco next. Place was really clean and I didn’t feel uneasy about ordering anything.

As sort of a germaphobe, I felt very comfortable eating here. Everything was very fresh and the whole restaurant, including the tables, grill, and cooking utensils were all very clean. I was very impressed. The tacos were great. Wasn’t too impressed with the guacamole but everything else was really good!

I got a steak burrito bowl. Small portion and the rice was still hard. I wouldn’t make a special trip to get mexican food here unless this was the only option for you.

This place is okay. I think the only thing to really get here is a burrito because everything else is made in too much of a hurry. One time I order the nachos and they were heating everything in the micro wave and it still wasn’t hot. The burritos are okay good, but I would rather go somewhere else. Sometimes the meat is too chewy and not heated very good. The chips are always too salty and sometimes taste stale. It might just be this location but after the 3rd time trying it I don’t even go to this place anymore.

High priced, bland food. There are a few unseasoned ingredients that they throw together for their meals… I ordered a taco salad and got greens with a few stale corn chips on the side, with a few beans on top. My husband and ordered a burrito and got the same ingredients for the filler but wrapped in a tortilla shell. Quite expensive, my meal came to over $ 12 for a small plate of food and a drink. The cashier and cook could barely speak English and spoke in a whisper, we had to keep asking them to clarify what they meant, and they seemed irritated by this. I ordered a child size quesadilla(basically half a large one) for my 5 year old daughter, but the cook said he could only make me an adult large(thus charging me the adult price). I’ve had much better Mexican food and would even prefer Taco Bell over this place. We left disgruntled and still hungry for something tasty.

Coming here for breakfast was definitely a «you’re not in Califonia anymore» moment. The guy at the counter was really nice… but my huevos rancheros was fast food quality at best. Scrambled eggs(out of a container) rather than real eggs, and it only went downhill from there. If you can’t actually make the real dish, please don’t list it on the menu. This is probably the worst mexican food I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

This is my favorite place to get a burrito(hot grilled veggie, of course) hands down. Everything is fresh and tasty. The line gets long, but they don’t usually run out of seating even in a small place– people from the hospital next door usually grab their lunch and run back. The staff is friendly and consistently make good food. Word of warning in the summer: there isn’t any a/c, so it warms up quickly.

This place is great for a quick meal. They make the meal right in front of you and the portion sizes are substantial. They have lots of different meat options including salmon, tilapia, prawns, and other seafood.

I perfer this place over taco del mar. The food tasted awesome, fresh and spicy. very limited parking behind. From reading the previous reviews i didnt have any troubles with the customer service, so i looked passed that. The location was in a very good area. Kinda hard to find if your driving. there burritos are awesome and filled with everything possibly. will come back in the near future Pros: location great customer service Cons: small parking lot

The service here is rude. The food here is far from authentic. The chicken has no flavor whatsoever. I’ve been here twice only because I work down the street. I thought I give it one last chance. Not coming back here ever again. Save your money.

In terms of Mexican food, I’ve had better«quick» options. I think that it’s okay, but there are definitely places that I would rather go. If you’re really craving Mexican and you can’t get away from work, this is a suitable option. Otherwise, take the time to go elsewhere.

If you«explore the menu» through Unilocal it says they have Tortas. They don’t :-(Does any place in this town have tortas? Anyway, I got a burrito bowl thing. As other reviewers mention, it was pretty sloppy/soupy. The guys inside were really friendly, but the food was not cool at all. Trust me on this one… I didn’t listen to my fellow Unilocalers. This one you should probably skip.

Veggie Taco Salad provided both the fresh veggies(tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, salsa, and picó de gallo) and the substance needed(rice, black beans, and chips). Nothing special about the rice or beans, but chips were tasty and veggies fresh! Will return for a $ 7 lunch.

I enjoy their breakfast burritos, but it really depends on who is making them that morning. Once I decided to get lunch their since I enjoy the burits. I received just a plate of slope for $ 9. I posted a pic of what it looked like. I was so pissed I about just walked away as they finished splashing it all on the plate. Instead I was starving short of time, grumbled and grudgingly paid for it. refer to pic 7 of 9, this was supposed to be a meal of some sort… FAIL! take some pride in you work, Blue Water Taco Grill.

I’ve always been skeptical about mixing seafood with Mexican. Since I was right next door at Piroshki, I figured I should just try Blue Water as well. I wanted to play it safe with just an ordinary beef, pork, or chicken taco, but who does when the place specializes in coastal Mexican? My choice: calamari taco: The calamari is grilled with onions and cilantro, served on a warm corn tortilla, and garnished with lettuce and pica de gallo(I opted for something spicier). There’s a ton of juices flowing out of this taco, it was pretty hard to contain it. But I really enjoyed the flavors, the calamari, hints of cilantro, the spicy salsa, and the light sourness from the lime. For a cost of $ 3, it was worth it.

Tasty Lunch! The Hot Chopped Salad lunch is a great deal and the summertime outdoor table seating in March sure was a special treat. Highly recommended for a lunchtime stop if visiting the nearby hospitals or just up on First Hill in general.
