It has quickly become our go to late night joint with such an amazing food. All meat is halal. Yummy burgers for veggie lovers… the paneer burger with egg, veggie burger, lots of options. My personal favorite is grilled shrimp pita… it’s crunchy, spicy and yummilicious.

This place is really great. All of their meat is halal and I can bring my friends here for a good burger meal. The staff is very kind and quick paced, they don’t waste any time standing around and always get the orders right. Not to mention the food is also very good, I’ve tried many items on the menu now and have been pleased every time. Late night hours are also a plus.

The owner misbehaved and charged us for food he didn’t serve. Our order was taken on phone and due to callousness of theirs they missed our order. We waited for 20 minutes and when asked the owner he said that we hadn’t have ordered and our order at the end of the queue. We finally said that we want to cancel the order and we left. He misbehaved and called names which is the reason I am never going back.

Came here with some friends for the first time b/c of the reviews. Unilocal has always been kind to me, but I don’t know about this time. Got the philly burger and I couldn’t tell between the cheese and meat. There was five of us and not even one of us had a decent burger. Not sure what people ate when they reviewed this place. They need to melt the cheese at the same time when they are warming the patties. The fries were cold and old. I’m not sure about the guy that took our order, I def didn’t get his sense of humor.

This place was really good! I got the mesquite burger with fries and it was really tasty! The prices are really cheap(less than $ 5 for a burger) and they’re also really quick with your order.

I have been here couple of times, the best part is the flavor. Almost all of the items on their menu tastes awesome. I suggest better to take to-go rather than sitting over there. Place is congested that’s the only problem! :)

I little bit of heaven on earth They have the best chicken pita i have ever ever had. Ask for chicken pita like shawarma and it will change your life and your future for the better I guarantee it! The owner loves the food and loves his customers. The customer service is the best I have ever gotten. It is a 10 star restaurant with a humble location.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday Night. It was quite busy and loud. Limited seating available. No frills place. Located on University way. Street parking only. We ordered the chicken burger($ 4.95), chicken masala burger medium spicy($ 4.95), cheeseburger($ 4.75), hamburger combo($ 7.75), and strawberry milkshake($ 3.99). Our order came in parts. The instructions were not followed properly and they forgot about our milkshake until we reminded them. While the chicken burgers and milkshake were pretty good, the beef patties were dry, the burger buns overcooked and undercooked. The fries had too much spice on them. The service was subpar, and not friendly. I would love to try the chicken burgers again but hubby absolutely refuses to give the beef burgers another chance.

On a dreary Tuesday afternoon, fraught with anxiety about a course I was about to teach for the first time, I stopped at the Burger and Kabob Hut on the way to UW. The stop was planned due to a recommendation from a friend, otherwise I might have missed the spot — directly across from Jimmy John’s and Starbucks, and with restaurants and cafes to its left and right it is easy to miss. The place was quiet, simple, and clean, with a straightforward menu listing burgers, shakes, and sides. I ordered the Paneer Burger and received my entrée within five minutes. I was in love before I even swallowed the first bite. Paneer Tikka as the«burger» with chutney and spiced onions — it was the perfect South Asia meets America food item. The ambiance of this place might not warrant a date night, but it is definitely the perfect hole-in-the-wall place to stop at for a relatively delicious, unique, and cheap bite when in the U District.(Possible caveat to my review — I’m vegetarian.)

Food is really tasty and great for vegetarians too: They have a Paneer tikka burger and Veggie burger. I always get the Veggie burger. Make sure you mention you don’t want it too spicy and leave out the spicy sauce if you can. I thought I could handle it for my Indian palette but it was on the spicier side and felt it overpowered the other flavors. The fries are the best especially with EXTRA masala thing sprinked on it. Stays open late and is perfect for anytime food on a budget. Do yourself a favor and avoid looking at the kitchen area so you can eat your burger in peace: P

Average burgers and food but good prices. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place. Had the masala chicken burger and a gyro at another time. The portions were huge but flavor just average.

We had 3 burgers Mushroom Musquit Cheeseburger All pretty good! Nice to have a different type of halal meal(we are Arab). Meat had a slight sweet flavour… Like cinnamon. I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t bad at all and my husband loved it.

Burger and Kabob Hut — One of my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Every time I visit Seattle, I make sure to eat at this restaurant. This is a small restaurant with limited number of seats. Burgers are cheap and delicious. This place reminds of street food back in India. My favorite food here is Paneer Masala Burger, Chicken Pita Wrap and Strawberry Milkshake. The chicken in the pita wrap is tender and properly coated with the Indian spices. Every bite of the burger and pita wrap reminds me of the spicy food served in India. The food items have different spice levels. So, make sure you choose the right spice level. I would definitely recommend this place!

Love the decoration and feel of the place, really gives off a good vibe that fits the university district overall, and most important thing the burgers are tasty. It’s a great spot to get some halaal burgers that aren’t too expensive and aren’t basic!

I love this place! They have the nicest people here. I found this spot as a freshman in college, just needing something quick to eat. I love their vegetable burgers. The price is great. You can watch them make your burger and it comes out perfect every time. Their fries is good too. This is more of a take out type of place because there’s only over the counter seating. My Personal Restaurant Rating Key One star: the food was bad and I had a negative experience. Two star: I had a more negative experience and would not come here again but the food was good so I may. Three store: Everything is good except one thing. Example-the food is good, the price is more reasonable but the atmosphere is lacking class. Or the food is good, the atmosphere is good, but they over charged us. These three stars are actually my favorite types of restaurants to go eat at if the reason is due to the atmosphere because they are usually delicious and reasonably priced. Four stars: Everything is great, food and experience. However the price is definitely on the upper end. I would not recommend this first to Obama unless he didn’t like my five stars. These are restaurants you can take your boss or your mother-in-laws to impress them, however they still don’t fit into the five star category. A bit fancier than my three stars, hence I don’t often eat here unless there is an occasion for it or there is a groupon that gives me a bit of a discount! Five stars: I would recommend this to Obama. The price may be on the upper end but the experience and the taste is so exquisite, it is actually worth every nickel and dime.

The Paneer Burger and the Chicken Burger are really awesome! If you are in the University District do try this place out. The Paneer Burger has the ‘Paneer Tikka’ style taste and surprisingly it tastes amazing! Indians especially will love this place.

There are very few places open in Seattle to satisfy that midnight snack craving. This is now becoming one of our go-to spots for late night food. The burgers are delicious and cheap. They have different spice levels — my favorite is the chicken special burger(comes with an egg) with masala fries ! It reminds me of street food back in Pakistan and is very authentic ! Good for take-out. They have limited space for eating in, and is usually crowded with university students.(I prefer to order over the phone to avoid the lineup and wait). Definitely recommended for late night snackers ! Proces range from $ 4-$ 6.
