Love their reasonably priced extremely tasty fare like almond chocolate torte, frangipani blueberry cake(2.5 bucks), croissant, cappuci o, magnolia artisan tea from the store… the owner is also a very sweet Swiss guy… very courteous n helpful!

This funky little place is the perfect place to duck into on a cold Seattle morning(or otherwise) to get a delicious, creamy mocha. My fav: The hemp mocha! So delightfully creamy, and now my favorite place to get a mocha in Seattle. They’ll even add cayenne by request! Chocolati is still my favorite, but this one definitely beats the Dillettante mocha… IMHO. Very friendly staff, great Father’s Day cards(funny!) and interesting wooden toys and European foods. Very cute!

I’ve spent a lot of time in France. If you ignore the scary gluten-free stuff, this place is legit.

What a fun and unique place if you want to get a coffee and not bother with the 1,000’s of Starbucks in the area. I stumbled upon this place and it has a very European feel. There were several Swiss patrons enjoying coffee and pastries in here, chatting with the owner who was also Swiss. I forgot I was in Seattle for a minute. The owner was very friendly and struck up a conversation with me while he made my latte. You can also buy Swiss candy and things like that imported from Europe here. It is also connected to a toy shop that makes toys from wood. Pretty cool. Easy to find if you’re in the Denny Triangle area, check it out.

Amazing mocha, it’s the only place I would go for coffee on the area. They use imported Swiss chocolate but the price is VERY fair. Delicious croissants that they bring in from France and they have a great selection of gluten free pastries. They do have sandwiches but I’ve never had them, though I know my husband loves them. I’m a regular and highly recommend it. Also, they bake these pastries daily. Another reviewer mentioned that they treat you like family and that can’t be and more on point. Even if you are not a regular they are just super friendly. The owners Leslie and Orse are also super friendly and truly good people. Be sure to wander through their adjoined shops. I love this place!

One of my favorite coffee places in downtown Seattle. Awesome almond milk lattes, delicious pastries and cozy atmosphere. A great place to have a break in the middle of work day!

I thought this was going to be an extra special coffee shop, but it’s just a normal local shop. Coffee and pastries are the same as any other one. I guess it’s good to support the local shops because there are so many Starbucks around.

This is my new favorite hot chocolate place in Seattle. Incredible Swiss style hot chocolates with really delicious breakfast pastry options! Their tartlets are soooo good. Their sausage roll is pretty amazing, as is their quiche. I’d highly recommend stopping by!

This is a great little coffee shop. The coffee is excellent(in the summer I love their cold brew) and a lot of the treats are fresh baked and delicious. Their sausage turnover is amazing. And the best part is, they treat you like family. It only takes a couple of visits and you’re greeted by name, they get to know your favorite drinks and just make you feel welcome.

I visited the adjacent shop looking for a wooden toy train. The owner, Urs Berger, from Switzerland of course, was charming, friendly, and showed us the work shop where many of the wooden toys(works of art) are made by Marty Jensen of Westlake Woodwerk. We were enchanted by Urs and his shop, which was obviously a labor of love. I ordered a train and when we returned to pick it up met Marty and learned more about his labor of love. The café provided a surprising selection of food, Swiss chocolate of course, and great coffee drinks. Customers are family and visits are enjoyable for the charming way they are welcomed. I will return not only for the café, the wonderful hand-crafted toys,(and adult items as well), but the warm ambiance as well.

Cute little café with some quirky people. But their baked goods are AMAZING! Fresh and delicate every morning, plus Free Muffin Friday! And they’re the only coffee shop within walking distance that used Victrola coffee. Great Gluten Free options as well. My bosses LOVE having breakfast pastries catered from this place. Family owned and very friendly people as well. I go here almost every day for coffee.

The mocha here is truly delicious. It’s all I’ve had here, and I would recommend it as well! This is a cute coffee shop, and I also like the two cute shops– a handmade toy /stationary shop and a Swiss goodies shop– attached to it; I really like walking and looking around at the cool handmade crafts and goodies while I wait for my drink.

Cute little Swiss coffee shop with tons of personality — my barista made my mocha a lot less sweet by adding water. Not sure I could taste the difference in quality of chocolate here but it was good. The quiche was pretty good and filling but wouldn’t come back for it.

We love to visit this café ! By far the best mocha and hot chocolates I have had in Seattle are from this place. Their Belgium Waffles are yummy ! There are usually some free tidbits to be had at the counter, and the lady who owns the place is super friendly. The European kind of ambiance adds to the flavor.

The coffee is good, haven’t had the good except the bacon but I’ve only seen it there once . They open at 6:30 which for me isn’t early enough, except for today they didn’t open til 6:39 :/I was disappointed and went to the wheelhouse down the street shuck opens at 6:00. I just wish they would open on time AND have bacon ready AT6:00am It seems customer service is a dying art

Mocha was great! The café is tiny bit filled with goodies. Make sure you check out the food market in the back, and the toy store next door. The owner makes some of the wood toys at the woodshop in the back.

I always pass by this place when I take a walk to where the food trucks are near SLU or the Whole Foods but I haven’t tried their coffee until today! I ordered an 8oz Americano with light room and then filled it up with cold water(I do not enjoy piping hot drinks). Man it was awesome. There was a lot of nuttiness to the flavor which was unique and the barista must have put in at least 3 shots of espresso in this(whoa!) It’s great. Service was alright too. I do not believe they take American Express, but I did not try. I just pad cash.

Quaint, little coffee shop with Swiss theme going on. Fellow European like me just strolling in South Lake Union gets sucked right in! If I remember well, their pastries are Swiss as well as the chocolate they add to their mochas and hot chocolates. When I was there I was solely interested in coffee, but there was a customer who was picking up his sandwich. Would love to look at the menu next time! I hope it’s Swiss inspired! Check them out– the friendly girl behind the counter made me a great cup of cappuccino!

They say your first impression is always your last and this place must realize it. It’s the only café I’ve gone to where the employees appear to like their job and treat you very well, like you belong there. It’s such a homey feel. Customer service: Excellent through and through. The café/store owner is very kind and see she treats her employees with casual respect. And she also gave me a tour of the store’s changes. Layout: I love it. They literally have a toy maker who crafts toys from wood! The guy does not do a bad job either. He carved out a WA State Ferry from wood with wood toy cars!!! And the workshop is super cute. If you have kids, this would be more amazing than a mall Santa, I promise you. What did I have there? The mocha was so smooth, it’s fantastic. Period… I then ordered an Americano… fantastic. Store: It’s very Euro trends but you’d be hard pressed to find any of the products they sell even on Amazon. The Store supports local too. Be warned: You could go for broke at this place feeling a sense of enlightenment and bankrupcty because you’ll find excuses to go. If you love Euro fashion in a small town sort of way, visit. Actually, anybody in South Lake Union tired of the same cup of coffee should change it up and go here… at least once… or twice because you get a free coffee coupon for the return visit!
