Cascade Relocation

This is the first time I used pro moving.
Moving from seattle to Austin.
Pro– the two men who picked up my stuff in seattle were fast (but all my belongings were boxed up before they came). The delivery time was about 3 weeks which is not too bad. The two guys who unloaded my stuff in Austin were very friendly and funny. And only a few things ended up getting broken
Con– one of the movers (who loaded my stuff in Seattle) asked me extremely inappropriate questions about myself and love life the whole time he was working. Since he lives in texas he wanted to take me out on a date once I got there. Really?!
I was originally quoted $ 1300 and When the movers picked up my stuff in seattle, I paid half of my balance which was $ 600. When the two movers were done, they quoted me $ 2100. I just wanted this creepy pervert to gtfo so I just signed the contract.
A week or so before my scheduled delivery, the company emailed me with my remaining balance. They had no record of my $ 600 payment. Once I told them I still have my receipt from the money order I gave and a signed contract showing I paid $ 600, they «just so happened to find» record of my payment. But then didn’t want to accept a money order. Wtf?
A few days later, creepy mover guy sends me a friend request on facebook. I immediately decline. I spoke to the manager of this company, melissa, and she basically called me a liar staying that employees don’t have access to computers (um, ok?) and don’t know my personal info. That’s obviously a lie since my full name (which was used to locate me on Facebook) is on all my paperwork! Duh!
Once my stuff was delivered, a large box and end table was missing from my shipment. I didn’t know which items exactly were in the box until I started unpacking everything and could pinpoint what I was missing out of this box. Mind you, I wrote on the outside of every box EXACTLY what was inside each box as to make unpacking easier. The first items I noticed was books from a shelf in my bedroom since I immediately unpacked that.
I started putting books on my shelf and noticed about half were missing. The last thing I unpacked (a few weeks later. Hey, I’m busy!) was clothing. It just so happens that all my bras and underwear are gone. Hmm
I emailed the manager melissa about this and she said «we still have not found your missing items. It was not an employee who took your stuff».
I’m not trying to point fingers, but I’m assuming my stuff was stolen by that pervert in Seattle who wanted to take me on a date. He’s probably sniffing my underwear somewhere in Denton, tx.
I still have not received anymore info regarding my missing items and my emails are constantly ignored.
I wouldn’t use this place unless you want to be sexually harassed and have your personal info used illegally.

I used cascade relocation for my move from Seattle to salt lake city. They did a great job, I recommend people to go with them. They provide you the best rate with a very good quality of service. The guys who came for pick up and drop my stuff were very professional.

They are very accurate and prompt and we can trust them.

despite all my questions and calls i was ripped off by «RICHARD «at cascade relocation in kent wa. he sounde very honest and sincere while he was booking my move, boy was i wrong. the price of $ 1650.00 magically changed to $ 2847.00 the day of my delivery. i was told the weight that was calculated by the agent (Richard) was wrong. despite him promising me 10 times the price would not go up it did !! when i called to speak to him they would not put him on the phone. i am now a victim of A HOSTAGE MOVE. they have my possessions in storage and will not deliver them until i pay in cash only. i have reported them t the dot who said they are a new company and are doing this to many many people, they also said to call the wash. trucking assoc. low and behold when i called there i was told nearly 50 people have called with similar stories this year. avoid using this co like the plague !
