Decided to go to like place and the area around for the weekend a few weekends ago. I have a two year old that wants to walk by herself and doesn’t want to be carried. We were by this store when she took a nose dive into the cement and split her lip. The owner of the chocolate shop was outside and saw the whole thing. My daughter was bleeding from the mouth and she instantly tells us to come into the store to get a damp cloth. She went above and beyond to help us out while my daughter was crying and a mess. She also grabbed a teddy bear and chocolate lollipop to distract her from her swelling lip, as we got done told us we didn’t owe anything. I’m so impressed with her generosity and thought the least I could do is this review. Fantastic store owner :) thank you!

I went in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The one employee working was so kind and helpful and she thanked each customer for waiting. Their fudge is fantastic.

I stopped in while doing some shopping and was greeted with a large selection of truffles. I don’t usually like truffles, but bought a couple to try. Delicious! Hands down, the best was the Himalayan sea salt caramel. These suckers are pretty expensive, $ 2.75 each — but it was good enough for me to actually consider coming back. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and had recommended the caramels as «award winning», which was helpful in making a selection.

Great fudge samples. Surprised by how great the pistachio fudge was. Not even super sweet. Wonderful.

Nikki served the best soy mocha. The rocky road fudge is chocolatey and not sugary. Portions are great and inexpensive.

The chocolate here is really good, but a bit pricey… I would have been more ok with that if the prices were actually posted somewhere. Paying over $ 7 for three(large) truffles seems a bit much. Also, there was a young child behind the counter helping out that looked too young to be working legally. That being said, the shop was clean and organized. Everything tastes great, too.

Chocolates looked amazing and the place was very clean and fresh! However the lady helping us eventually got frustrated and started grunting when we were ordering our chocolates granted we were buying the biggest box and we were not being pushy! Very annoying! Paid $ 60 for amazing chocolates but customer service was out the window

Not only is the chocolate in this store TODIEFOR, but the customer service is EXTRAORDINARY! We accidentally left part of our order in the store, and Stacey actually mailed it to us, and didn’t charge us for either the fudge or the shipping! Kudos for the best customer service in the land!

The last time I had the taste of chocolate in a San Francisco alley, it was a very different experience, let me tell you that much. These sweet morsels really melted in our mouths on the way to the market. They had a truly decadent daïs of different delectables that we were nervous to nibble. Just a few bites and we were on our way, but I know will be back for another round of brown mounds.

I stumbled upon this place recently while on a day date with my husband. There was a young child counting his money at the counter and there wasn’t a soul in the place. I walked around and saw they carried my favorite sea salt truffle and purchased 6– my total was $ 16. Now I don’t mind paying — but I don’t recall the prices anywhere. The sea salt was good, high quality. The service however was slow that day and I had a child acknowledge me before the adult behind the counter.

Awesome place and great selection but lines can be a bit long with a long wait on weekends. Definitely a great gift for someone as well, quality chocolates!

I always stop by and get a piece of chocolate from here when I am at the market. I will say last time my boyfriend picked up the peanut butter fudge and it was excellent. Its a fun place with a giant chair(good for photo opps). It is fun and has a cute feel to it. Last christmas I bought a hard hat shaped chocolate from here as a stocking stuffer which was well recieved — I saw the other day that they are still making them which is cool. Good variety.

Best raspberry truffle of all time! I came in and felt very welcomed by the staff. I love local shops. I was on vacation in Seattle when I had the pleasure of visiting The Chocolate Market, and I’ll definitely come back next time I make the trip.

I got 4 truffles for about $ 11 – 12, so that’s about $ 2.75 a pop. The best item was the milk chocolate sea salt caramel, as they definitely used high quality sea salt. However, the other truffles were just marginally good: the milk choc. hazelnut and raspberry fililng. I haven’t tried the last one yet, but if it blows my socks off, I’ll consider upping the rating to 3stars. There’s better chocolate to be had in Seattle. In fact, hit up Dilettante Chocolate bar up on Capitol Hill on Broadway.

Chocolate lovers dream store! Unique and delicious truffles for every taste. Dark and milk chocolate! Fudge and other yummy candies waiting to be tasted! The raspberry habanero in dark was perfect amount of heat and sweet! The lady working was super sweet and let us come in even though they were technically closed! Great little shop in the market! Can’t wait to come back to try the fireball truffle!

Popped in here to buy a couple of sea salt milk chocolate caramels. They were so-so. Barely so-so is the best I can say. They were almost three dollars each and the shop is adorable. I expected more.

I adore this little chocolate shop. The fudge is superb! I always sample the newest flavors before I make my final choice. Red velvet and Sea Salt Carmel are my favorite flavors for now! The staff is warm-hearted and super friendly. The Chocolate Market is a must-stop inside of Post Alley.

We stopped by when we were walking through the alley. Nothing particularly special except that it’s a cute store with several varieties of chocolate truffles to choose from. I did like the salty truffle which had caramel inside. The price was a little high for one truffle. Overall, cute place!

Yum! We would not have popped in if it hadn’t been for Lola, the sweet little girl«working» there with her Mom, Stacey. She so sweetly invited us in, and I am glad she did. The salted caramels are creamy deliciousness. The caramel topped marshmellow fudge is Lola’s personal favorite, so we had to buy a hunk of that. She has great taste, haha!

I was walking towards Westlake center from Le Panier last friday when I notice from the corner of my eye, a chocolate store. I walked in, and it gave me a really cozy atmosphere. Bought a toffee Pretzel and a Pink champagne truffle. The Pink champagne truffle is AMAZING, definitely a must-try. I was curious if they had any alcohol pieces, I called them on Saturday and left them a message, still haven’t received a call back tho. =[
