So sad they’re retiring, but I know it’s well deserved! I just got some wonderful new drawers, REAL wood, for half price! Like we’re talking just over a c-note! I couldn’t believe my luck. I also bought a side table just a couple of months ago, and another set of drawers about a year ago. I seem to always find what I need there, and it’s nice not to be rushed out of there, as I like to take my time walking around imagining all the history behind these pieces. It’s funny some people think this place has been«expensive», but I’m really not sure where you can get real wood furniture these days, that has such character and is taken care of like they do here, for a better price. Glad they’re also open on the weekends when I do most of my errand-running, and they have a nice loading zone in front. Have a peaceful and fun retirement Cobblestone! We’ll miss you!

I just moved to the neighborhood and needed a few pieces if furniture, I walked with my daughter in the stroller the half mile to this store just positive they would have exactly what I wanted. Not a chance! First off, there is a sign on the door«no strollers», ok got it, so I park mine outside… Immediately I see a sign that says«no loose children». Ok they hate kids, I get it. I’m walking around admiring what mostly seems like stuff you’d find at a nicer garage sale or decent Craigslist add, for maybe 6 – 7 minutes give or take before I see a single person. Up near the register there is a sign that says«keep out» rather than your usual«employees only». And another sign that says cash/checks only. The door has an extremely loud bell so they knew I was there. Finally a woman popped out and said, «can I help you dear?» Which is the only reason I’m giving two stars, is she at least offered to help and called me dear which was sweet… But then she disappeared again immediately. Most of the items didn’t look restored, most had obvious scratches and water stains from glasses… Which isn’t a big deal but the quality didn’t seem to match the price. They had tons and tons of dressers, but I was looking for dining room chairs… I saw maybe three. Also needed an end table, they had a few, nothing that would have worked for me. I’m no expert but these items don’t really look like antiques. Did I mention the hours? No, but they aren’t convenient. I really hate to poorly rate a local business… But this was really disappointing… For some reason I had such high hopes for this store.

Great solid wood furniture from every decade of the 20th century. I think it’s very reasonably priced, taking into account that they have done any necessary repairs/refinishing/polishing before putting the furniture out on the floor. We searched Craigslist for weeks and didn’t find anything that was in good enough condition for us to want. We found MANY pieces at Cobblestone that we wanted. In fact, we went in for one dresser and left with a dresser, desk and nightstand. The prices were very fair on all the pieces. We will DEFINITELYBEBACK!

Pros — There is a lot of really nice furniture in here and the selection is enormous. All sorts of desks, chairs, tables, etc with a multitude of styles from different generations. Cons — Holy moly it’s expensive. Don’t let the prices keep you out — you never know what deal you might find, but I can honestly say that the markup is rather ridiculous.

This place is a neighborhood institution. Over the years I’ve found several pieces(eg, a lovely birds-eye maple dresser, a 1940’s mahogany coffee table). The owner is a lovely woman who was generous to the Greenwood businesses during the recent arson trauma. Cobblestone is the kind of business you feel good about supporting.

I like Cobblestone because of the large selection and variety. A pretty substantial range in quality, but I think that is reflected in the prices. Not a lot of high-end pieces here. Tons of dressers and bookshelves. Definitely worth looking if you are interested in furniture with some wear but is more affordable.

I went there because it’s across the street from Antika, where I was visiting the Don Draper room(mid century furniture showcase.) Cobblestone is kind of like if church were full of dressers. You go in and it’s so quiet you start to talk in whispers. Some of the dressers have little nagging post-its on them reminding you to limit your drawer-opening. I swear I saw a dresser in there that was on Craigslist the previous day, marked up 3x. That being said, they do a good job on all those old dressers. They seem solid, and I guess prices are comparable to low-end department store furniture. But I would still go straight to Craigslist and cut out the middle man. Sorry small local business.

We have been shopping at Cobblestone for over ten years for our wooden furniture and lamp needs. Very affordable prices and quality furniture. They have been in business for 36 years and would like to retire, so get ting in there this year especially would be a very good idea. They have a website: and are open Wed thru Sun, closed Mon and Tues

Open Sunday at noon. Nice friendly store with reasonable prices for good used wooden furniture. They don’t take plastic. Tough area to find parking but if you buy something you can use the loading zone right in front of their store.

I needed just a simple stand for my lamp. Nothing too fancy, but nice enough to put my lamp on. I found that here for only $ 40(with an extra 30% off). Cool pieces, affordable prices. I am going to start looking for pieces for my bedroom soon. This is one of the first places I am going to look at. Zipzap Zubidy Bop!

If you like worn in wooden furniture(you know the kind with lots of character) go to Cobblestone. Friendly owners, some amazing pieces, and accurately priced — can’t ask for much more. Like others have said beware of hours and cash/check only.

I really enjoy this shop and have purchased a few pieces of furniture. The owner is really nice and helps in the community. I just love old furniture.

This is a great little shop. The owners/operators are very friendly and accommodating. They do a lot of the restoration work themselves before reselling and it’s a quality job. And most importantly, the things that weren’t in that great of shape were priced accordingly. Beware — hours are somewhat limited(11 — 5 weekdays and 12:30 — 5 weekends) and they do not accept credit/debit cards(cash only).

Great place to pick up antique oriented furniture at great prices. They have true antiques mixed in with not so true antiques… but the key is affordability… just make sure you don’t try to stop by too early in the day, opens at 11.
