Eh typical pub food. Nothing too special. Mediocre service. Our server was more attentive with some tables than others. We were asked to seat ourselves since we asked to be seated outside. The woman acting as hostess handed us menus and said ummm sit on the right side wherever you want. Oookkkk.

WARNING: This place will steal your money. I was double charged on my debit card. Upon calling them, they were defensive and dismissive. When I stated that I was not implying human error, and I was simply only interested in having my money refunded, they continued to pass the blame. Despite my politeness and patience, nobody would take ownership of the mistake and offer compensation. It has now been 4 days, and they still refuse to refund my stolen money. Avoid this place. It’s a crooked business. They are nothing but thieves. Shame on Collins Pub, and shame on their staff.

This place is good for beers and drinks. I ordered the charcuterie plate which comes with one type of meat but mine was many different shades which I found odd. I brought this up to the bartender and he took it away immediately and told me to pick something else out on the menu. I told him I wasn’t that hungry and would stick to a drink. I did mention that I was traveling on business and would be expensing the meal so I didn’t care as much but when I got the check the multicolored charcuterie plate was still on my check. I’m glad I didn’t order anything else and have to pay for both. I was a bit surprised it hadn’t been taken off regardless of my expense comments. The tip definitely would have been better if it was. They had a good beer selection but given the area there are many other options. I come to the area often for business and definitely won’t be returning.

I have been to Collins Pub a few times, and it’s never been much to be too excited about, although everything is decent and reasonably priced, as far as I’ve experienced. The cheese board, obviously a little difficult to get wrong if Brie is involved, is my favorite. It’s $ 12, nothing fancy, cheap crackers on the side, but on the generous side when it comes to the cheeses, which is important. The artichoke crab dip is a big serving, too, but it was a little too salty for me. Chicken wings are average. Service has always been friendly and satisfactory, although I’ve always sat at the bar.

Food was great. Perfectly cooked fish and chips and salmon. We rolled in at 9 pm and the place was slow but the food and service was top notch. Great beer list! Great music too!

For not being very crowded on a Fri nite at 8pm, the service was slow and less than attentive. Granted I was alone and perhaps they thought I was waiting for someone, but it took awhile to just get acknowledged and then at least 5 minutes after ordering my beer before it was delivered. I never was offered a glass of water with my food. I asked for one at the end of my meal(because it was the only time anyone came over to my table) and basically received it with the check. And it came in a short glass. Girls at another table had pint glasses with straws. The server who brought my food(I had one take my order and one bring my food) seemed annoyed that she had to drop it off. I asked for a side of mayo, she came back with it and dropped it off too, in the same fashion. Neither server came back and asked me even once if I needed anything or asked how it was; if she had, I’d have gone thru three full glasses of water by the time the check came. Good thing the food was good. It was actually really tasty, had the house salad and the Collins burger. Great beer selection too. Was tempted to leave zero tip, but couldn’t let myself do it. Left just shy of 20%. I’d eat there again if I lived here, but only takeout! Otherwise I’d stick to bar seating and beer.

This used to be my #1 spot over the years, where I recommended tons of people from all over the US to visit. Now it’s turned into a place with impeccable terrible service !!! Firsts hey ignore a customer for 15 minutes, then when customer asks for menu they’re rude; as though they were inconvenienced for an odd job. The menu on the wall was barely readable with the sun’s bright light and resulted in me politely asking for the top IPA on top. The blonde haired bartender named Vanessa was beyond rude and keep telling me to read the sign and not her problem — with a massive scowl. Hope this was anomaly with this server.

Really disappointed with this place. Had been here for Happy Hour after work, and had an unpleasant experience. This review is specifically for their Happy hour. We reached here at around 4:30 pm, and upon entering the establishment, saw a sign asking patrons to wait to be seated. There were a few other folks at the bar and two tables, but there was no bartender or server in sight. After about 10 minutes, a server appeared, but went to serve a table without acknowledging us. When she finally got around to us, she said the sign was put there by mistake, and we could have just gotten a seat. The restaurant is more long than large, since we were a big group, we could only get a table toward the rear. The place is decently decorated with wooden furniture & small lamps, but is extremely dark in the interior. It looks pretty good but the poor services frustrates you enough to not notice this. They have an a lot of great beers on tap, and this is probably the only thing they do well. We tried many local beers here. We didn’t get much food, and only got happy hour appetizers. Those were pretty pricey and the quantity was very small. Four pieces of pita, possibly half the size of an 8 inch pizza, and a spoonful of hummus for $ 6, and six small corn balls for $ 7. It was pathetic, and I’d recommend you to skip the HH food. We were extremely unhappy with this, and left for another bar in Pioneer square after a round of beers. If you do go, try local beer on tap. And skip the happy hour food. I will not be going here again.

This place was walking distance from our hotel so it was our first stop when we got into Seattle. We walked in around 3pm on a Friday. The place was pretty empty so we sat right down and ordered a beer. Their beer list is great by the way. We decided on our lunch plates and ordered. By the time our food got to us the restaurant was bustling! Everyone was getting off work and this definitely seemed like the go to «after work» spot. We drank a couple beers from their list and we both loved them. Our lunch was delish! I’d recommend getting the sweet potato fries with your entrée for sure. Our server was sweet and knew we were tourists so she gave us some great tips on the museum deals going on at the time. I really enjoyed our afternoon here. We ended up coming back the next day for a drink in between outings. I’ll most definitely be visiting again and Collin’s Pub will be on our list.

Got drinks hereafter our meal around the corner not realizing it had food of its own. A nice tall cheap margarita that I sucked down and then topped off with a local beer on tap. I prefer light and my boyfriend went for the darkest. Our lovely server Deb took care of us and the entire bar area with ease. Did not get to eat but the gentlemen next to us had the best smelling crab cake BLT with a side salad and it may just bring us back a second time for the food while we are here.

I wish I could give this a 3.5 stars, but unfortunately that’s not an option. My boyfriend and I went on a Seahawks Sunday before the game and got one of the last booths. It was PACKED, and a great atmosphere full of hawks fans. Our server was not good, probably because he had other things going on. We didn’t get his name either. My boyfriend works in the hospitality industry and was appalled by his performance. The food was delicious though, as well as my mimosa and his IPA. I got the salmon scramble and he got the meat scramble, and they were both pretty generous portions, which I was not expecting. The salmon scramble was pretty good, just too fishy for me at 11:00AM. Roasted potatoes are my absolute favorite, and that is what it came with. Rosemary roasted potatoes. Delicious! Would love to come back here when we can get better attention from our server!

this place was ok, the bartender had the personalities of a brick, not very friendly and it’s closes early for a pub which seems to be the norm in Seattle.

Hit up Collins to have some drinks with friends. When I showed up, my friends had already been there for a while — they were looking at the menu and I know that the waitress/bartender had seen me sit down. It took her like five minutes to come and ask me if I wanted anything. She came back and took my friend’s orders, but didn’t offer me a menu OR ask if I was getting anything to eat… Okay, cool. I just had two Jack & Cokes. First one was weak, second one was super strong(which I prefer). Be prepared to pay an assload — $ 17 for two drinks.

Weird I just read Jim M’s review about getting sick eating hamburgers at Collin’s. My husband and I were there that same night… we ate hamburgers and fries… did not get sick. Collins serves lots of hamburgers before a Sounders game, so it’s weird that only this one group got sick and not everyone. I would like to see the report from the Swedish Emergency Room stating the actual problem and the report from the Health Dept. I think undocumented reviews like this are harmful to everyone. Still eating Collin’s burgers once a week… and have never gotten sick! And they are delicious!

The service gets slower every time I come here. I am finally done with it. 25 minutes to bring me 10 stale crackers for my cheese plate. There are just so many other places in Seattle that will actually give me good service. I watched a customer storm out who waited almost 20 minutes for a server.

I have to say I am a fan of this establishment. I got a chance to visit them several times in the past month or so and had lunch(on-site and take out), happy hour food, drinks(beer), and business meetings. For whatever the occasion was, this place was able to accomodate pretty well. One time, we were a pretty large group(7) without a reservation(I don’t think they take reservations) and they were able to put some tables together and voila, we were seated. Food here is quite good, but a bit on the pricey side. I really liked their burger(add bacon!) and fried oysters. Their calamary was pretty good too. their taplist is usually solid. A couple of weeks ago, they were hosting Alpine Beer Company from SD and had a bunch of awesome beer on draft(like Nelson, Duet, Hoppy Birthday, etc.). They usually have nice selection of local brews as well. Recommended! and they accept Amex.

To add to the wonderful memory of being violently ill after eating at Collins I just received a bill from Swedish hospital for $ 700. The total bill was for $ 2,700.00, $ 700 is what I am responsible for. That was a very, very expensive hamburger… The owner still has never bothered to call me. Awesome!

This is one of my favorite stops in Seattle. They always have a great lineup of microbrew beer and the food is very good. My favorite is the crab BLT, it’s a great sandwich. My wife had the grilled salmon on top of salad. I had a bite and it was great too. They had multiple beers on tap from breweries like Stoup, Anacortes, BaleBreaker, and Breakside. Always a fun stop and they are open every day from 11:30AM. The staff is fun for a good story too.

Came for a large group lunch, everyone was happy. Solid venue for that need. Some highlights: Appetizers: Bacon+Calamari == YES! Great idea, just needed a tiny bit more bacon. Never go half-bacon. Artichoke/Crab dip — okay, not amazing, probably wouldn’t repeat Hummus — yes, it was hummus. Mains: I had the grilled salmon, which was good, not amazing. A little disappointing from a «OMG I’m having salmon in Seattle» perspective. Burger-orderers at the table were all happy Next time I’ll definitely try the Ahi sandwich, looked really good. Was told it’s «the» dish here. Also, the onion rings were the clear standout between fries, sweet potato fries, and rings…

Happy hour on a Wednesday night: no problem getting a table. Service was so-so. Didn’t have a problem flagging down our waitress but she wasn’t always around. They have a great beer selection. Split the Charcuterie Plate which is Salami, mama lils pickles, focaccia, greens & stone mustard with a co worker only because I was undecided. That was a bit spendy at $ 12 or so. Focaccia bread smelled of stale oil. Pickles were bland. I never thought pickles could ever be bland. Might go back for beer but wouldn’t go out of my way.

Stood at the«please wait to be seated sign» for 5 – 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me, despite several employees walking by and seeing me several times. It was a strange feeling that had me wondering if I was a ghost. Eventually I politely flagged down an employee who quickly interrupted me and told me there were no empty tables and I’d have to wait. That’s fine, I don’t mind waiting, but I do expect someone to at least say«be with you shortly». After waiting for a table, a different waitress told me that since I was by myself, I’d need to sit at the bar. Fine, but why couldn’t you tell me that before I waited(both times)? There was an available bar seat the entire time I could have taken. I sat at the bar which was manned by only one employee who was trying to service 15 – 20 bar seats plus all the drink orders for a full restaurant. She did her best, but obviously was horribly incapable of handling everything. This was a football game day, I don’t understand why the restaurant wouldn’t anticipate the demand and have at least two employees working the bar. Not a good experience. Would not repeat.

Very solid beer list with many local drafts. I struggled to pick just one and settled on the Naked City Bing. I had a bowl of the Smoked Salmon chowder and it was excellent. Hearty, flavorful, plenty of smoked salmon. $ 8 for a big bowl. The service was a bit on the slow side and our soups took quite a while to come out. I always find slow-to-arrive soup puzzling because it’s not like they’re making the soups to order. They’re heating up soups that have been previously made. Service was kind and friendly, however, so no complaints. I would definitely return when in the area. We were here pre-show and it was just right for our needs. Solid neighborhood joint. The dinner menu has many options ranging from seafood, steak, and burgers. Prices are fairly reasonable but could get spendy depending on what you order. I would return if in the area.
