We stopped at 2 other toy stores on the block, and this is the only store that’s actually a toy store with toys that kids would be Interested in. The pricing is reasonable too, a Lamaze light up toy going for 19 $ on Amazon is only marked up to 24 $ here. Compared to the other stores in the area this is a pretty reasonable markup. Good selection for all ages, including our 3 month old. Skip the other upper Queen Anne fancy toy shops and just come here, your kid will be able to play while you shop and not be bored by a wall of 40 $ plush toys and non — battery operated vegan blocks, whatever the heck those are.

I like this local place. They have a very good selection, I spent a long time just looking around. Finally, I got a cool robot for holiday toys drive! This place is fun for kids and adults.

I love Communiqué! This store is so fun to look around in. It has cards, small gifts (picture frames, candles, lotion, stationary) as well as kids toys. They have a pretty great selection of playmobile! I love that they offer gift wrapping for your purchases. The store is also locally owned, and I love that. If you are on the top of the hill, absolutely stop in!

I have shopped at Communiqué forever, since when it used to be located in Chinoise’s space & was alot smaller. They have the best cards, frames & such fun, unique gifts for all occasions. And always a surprise! Their toy store is great, I have found some unique gifts for nieces & nephews that you won’t find at the chains. They also support local charities & have donated an awesome pet themed gift basket every year to the Seattle Humane Society. A great community asset!!!

This place is fantastic! So glad I finally stopped in. They have a great selection of gift wrap, including the hard to find cello gift bags and classier ribbons than most gift wrap selections.
It’s a great place to get party favors and odd little knock knacks that make unique gifts for kids and adults alike!
Fun and class, all rolled into one happy little shop. The clerks are always helpful and friendly without being pushy at all.
I found some great things here on clearance too, at amazing prices!
This will now always be the first place I check for any type of gifting or packaging needs.

The greatest thing about Communiqué? They wrap your gift! Yes, they have an awesome selection of girlie calendars, planners, notebooks, picture frames, candles, but they also WRAP it for you! And they wrap it cutely! (Is that a word?) With ribbons! And bows! And fun paper!
It looks SO Much better when they do it, than when I try with the leftovers from Christmas, or from the backside of a grocery bag (I never can seem to find the wrapping paper at my house).
Not incredibly original stuff, but they WRAP IT! For free!

Wonderful local selection of cards and gifts. They have stationary, candles and frames too! Normal prices, and simply a lovely, quiet place to find that perfect card. They have balloons too. They also have a toy store further down the sidewalk. Definately a good place to find a gift for a lil’ tyke’s birthday party.
