I have been going to this store since I discovered it back when I went to the UW. I love it because it has a Tintin section. I adore Tintin. I read all the books as a child(back then we could only buy the book when we went to Europe). As as adult I am still obsessed with Tintin. Over the years I have purchased posters, cards, key chains, and shirts. Just last week I popped in since moving back here after 10 years in LA and I was so happy to see the shop is still around. I bought a beautiful Tintin sweater and it was even on sale. The store also has lots of other lovely items(jewelry, clothes, etc).

What a nice shop. There is lovely jewelry and other fun things. I’m a huge fan of Tintin(for about 35 years), and there’s a nice collection of collectable Tintin things here. It is located in the Wallingford Center; free lot parking.

Friendly service and familiarity with the local artists who produced several of the items in the store. Wide variety of Knickknacks that may spur you to think of someone or be perfect for your own windowsill. No particular theme to the store other than handmade items. Lots of different styles of jewelry and some clothing geared towards the older set.

My mom likes this place bit each time I go here we get ignored. I know the owner Kathy, I met her once but the people working there are horrible, young girls that really don’t care about their job.

Sometimes you want to buy something that doesn’t beep, light up, or have an on/off switch. Sometimes you want simplicity. Crackerjack is a great place to go to find handmade jewelry, crafts, and trinkets that will make your life pretty and peaceful. This is a really cute store and I can’t believe I never knew about it earlier. They have a lot of jewelry made by local artists. Although the jewelry is expensive, that’s pretty much to be expected when you buy artisan crafts from a small gift store. The women who work there are very nice and helpful, and will wrap things for you if you are buying a present. They also have a frequent buyer program and if you spend a certain amount of money you get a store credit. I have had very good experiences here, and this is now my go-to place for jewelry and gifts.

What a sweet little spot! I had a meeting in Wallingford Center the other day and because I arrived early I decided to kill some time looking around. Even Trophy Cupcakes couldn’t keep my attention because right across the hall I spied this adorable little shop. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted warmly by an employee who made sure to tell me about the store and how most of the products are made by local artists. Whether it’s PJs with sushi print, glass earrings, candles, stationary, it’s all super cute! An ideal spot for finding a gift for someone special.

This is a cute little store with a wide variety of gift and personal items. Yes, to me, they are a bit high end. So gorgeous and luxurious. The jewelery is sooo beautiful. The candles and soaps– not your every day soaps but gift and luxury items for special. Staff has always been warm and pleasant. I am not going to tell you about the candy on the counter which my hand might dip into occasionally because I want the candy corns. Get away! Go to Trophys and get a cupcake!

I stumbled across Crackerjack by accident, because I was hearing Trophy Cupcakes(in the same weird quasi-mall) calling me loud and clear, and vaguely thought that if I stopped to browse at another store too, it might be more like a casual weekend shopping trip and less like a desperate baked-good grab. Crackerjack, you are my retail beard. I was impressed when I saw the«Everything in this store is handmade» sign, but Jessica R. is correct in saying that this can’t be right, because they carry mass-produced items(soaps, toiletries) that I’ve seen in gift shops in other cities and states. This isn’t to say that many of their items aren’t handmade, because they do have a pretty decent selection of jewelry, knit clothing, greeting cards, and knick-knacks that look handmade to me. My favorite thing was the tiny-food collection up at the register, but that’s because I have a tiny-food collection of my own. Most of the stuff in here was nice, but uninspiring, and I couldn’t really think of anyone I would give them to. Some of the jewelry is really nice, though — it’s definitely worth a look if you’re trying to distract attention away from that greasy cardboard box in your other hand.

I wandered around Wallingford Center for a while trying to finish my festivus shopping and happened upon Crackerjack Contemporary Crafts. Crackerjack reminds me a lot of Fireworks . They offer a lot of cute cool jewelry, boxes, a small baby section, and some fun one of a kind items. I didn’t find anything that I really *needed* except maybe some beautiful hand-blown glass salt and pepper shakers that were lovely… I also didn’t find anything for my friends/family — but will certainly keep the store in mind for future gift-giving!

Crackerjack carries a variety of handmade gift items though the sign which reads«Everything in this store is handmade» is completely untrue. They carry commercially made toiletries and gift items as well. And for some reason they have a very large selection of Tintin collectibles and books. I’ve been walking through this shop for over a decade and it seems to still have the same items in it. It could use a bit of a shake-up.

This is a lovely gift store in the Wallingford Center featuring a variety of higher end gift items. Lots to look at and browse. Just need a beautiful card? This would be a great place to get that. Need a special gift for someone who has everything? This is the place. A crafter yourself? Get inspired with many of these unique handmade items. Jewelry, cards, home furnishings, some clothing.
