Still filling my happy stomach as I type, Flame Burgers is great place to just… have a burger! I know it’s listed as a pizza joint, and it IS one, but flame burger used to be next door, got bought out, and moved in with Elliot bay. They really did a good job blending the two… don’t get my wrong, it’s not spick and span by any means, doesn’t feel re-done, but it’s a great place to grab a slice or a burger or even a HUGE hot sandwich. TL;DR pizza, burgers, sandwiches, great lunch.

Don’t know what their pizza tastes like, they were closed at quarter to 8 on a Monday night. Not what I expect out of a pizzeria.

Not to be an A** but I honestly can’t take another experience at this place without saying something. There has never been a single visit into this place, where I have not thought about how poorly their customer service is. Rude. Short. All off the above. This last experience they left us without bread with our pasta on a to-go order. I called to ask, and she said«oh, we are low on bread». Don’t you think you mention that to a customer upon order? And by low do you mean, certain people get it and some don’t? Or you are out? I have no idea who runs this joint, but as a consumer, when I purchase something off their menu, I expect to receive it. Maybe that’s just naïve of me… not sure. This place is by far the worst all-around experience in a restaurant in Mill Creek and the surrounding area. Owners… get involved with your daily operations.

We had the garlic highway pizza. The flavors were good. Unfortunately, however, the whole thing was made with a very heavy hand. So much cheese, so much pesto — it all mixed together and muddled itself. If I go back I’ll just get a slice of pepperoni.

The food here is fantastic and the employees are very nice! I order delivery from them and it always comes within a half hour or so. So many great options and all are delicious!

I get so annoyed at people that eat at a place once and leave a negative review for some seemingly innocuous reason. I don’t think you should be able to review a place having only gone once. With that stated the first time I ate here was in 2004 and since then I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been back, easily over 100. As a disclaimer, I have never ordered take out from here, nor have I ordered anything off the(after Flame was absorbed) burger menu, so I can’t attest to that. I’ve heard delivery can be hit or miss. Service is nothing special, but all they do is take your order and bring it too you. They’re friendly and get my order correct, what more can you expect. It can be a little slow when they are busy(this is also because they don’t rush their food). During the last 11 years its undergone at least 1 ownership change, and the food has definitely gone down in quality for periods, but its still remained my favorite sandwich destination in Seattle. The quality has improved the couple years and I feel like can give it a 5 star rating now. My favorite subs are the French Dip(amazing), Maui, Chicken Caesar, Thai-chicken, and Turkey-Bacon. While a little expensive, the subs are pretty large. I usually get a half sub and a slice a pizza. Comes out to about $ 10 with a small tip. Pizza is good here as well, but I feel a little expensive. They don’t skimp on the cheese though. I might not recommend traveling here outside your neighborhood, but if you are in/around Queen Anne I would recommend this place.

These are some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The selection is incredible. Every time I come through Seattle I make sure to make a stop here.

American Dad-style diner that offers much more than just pizza. In fact I’d believe it if they told me they specialized in their flame-broiled burgers($ 7), although they offer pizza by the slice, entire pies, hot subs, and calzones. I’m going to be a repeat offender here to try their whole variety, especially with free 2-hr street parking on top of the quaint Queen Anne Hill. I can forgive the kid waiter who was literally napping at one of the back tables oblivious to the customers starting to come in this afternoon. Dad came out and shouted at him which was quite funny. I got exactly what I expected in a $ 7 burger, large fresh slices of bright tomato, purple onion, fresh green lettuce, and Tillamook Cheddar on a 1⁄3 lb patty cooked upon ordering. Deelish.

Chicken Ceasar and Pizza subs are phenomenal. The bread they make for your sub cannot be beaten. The subs are huge for just the half size. The full size would be another meal. I have been going here for about 13 years. Worth the drive from North Seattle. I take friends and family here all the time. I even had my family take me here on my birthday instead of a fancy restaurant lol! Don’t bother getting the pizza, the subs are the not something you want to miss.

Not the cheapest place ever, but if you get an extra patty on your burger it’s surprisingly a good deal. My double burger was awesome. Two third-pound patties. Haven’t tried their pizza yet(it looked a little more expensive, but hey, it’s not Pizza Hut) but I will in the future. Wifi with the food is nice. Ask the cashier for the password. Will be coming back for sure.

Best hamburger I’ve ever eaten. And I’m not even a burger kind of person. Loved it. I’ll eat THEIR burger! And the people who work there are very polite.

Really mediocre food Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of choices for fast food in Queen Anne neighborhood This is as good as it gets I usually get the burgers because the pizza looks gross

Ok I wanted to give my two cents. I read the reviews and expected the worst but we ordered a pie for delivery. The young lady who answered the phone was a little surly but not quit rude lol ! The«Deluxe” — Minus black olives showed up in a bout 35 minutes hot and smelled heavenly ! The toppings tasted fresh and the crust was heavy not like fast food pizza but in a good way. I wish it was a bit more crispy but was still satisfied with the way it was. Over all I recommend trying it. Now we will see if they can be consistent.

Pizza here is good but the burgers are great! I love the burger and fries as hangover food! I’ve never seen them super busy so it’s easy to get quick food here. Walk up counter to order and the workers are generally nice. They will also deliver(I think for free…) and would assume they cover at least the main Upper Queen Anne area.

It was difficult to understand how this joint is still able to exist with the rest of Queen Anne Avenue rising to the occassion or falling into the dust. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty much going to say everything about Elliott Bay Pizza as everyone else. THESUBSWERESOGOOD. My husband, sister, and I all came here for Sub sandwiches and it was delicious and filling. I regret walking in because their seating area is sad and grimy feeling. Their bathrooms were old and gross looking. BUT the cooks threw on gloves at every order so they were very hygenic and okay. I don’t know it was a mess but for future reference this is a place you should call ahead and order your food in advance. I recommend the London Broil Sub!

I’ve been here twice now. I had a burger the first time and pizza the second, however, it’s the customer service that has me writing this review. Neither visit was horribly bad, just genuinely not very friendly. I’m not sure if either time I received even a «hello.» The second time in particular, I thought the person running the counter seemed a bit rude and it was apparent he wanted me to order as quick as possible. I’m assuming either his shift was over or he was on lunch, as he left right afterwards, which is understandable, but I didn’t think he needed to act standoffish and like I was a huge inconvenience. Pizza was just average; cheesy and greasy. Probably good if you’re hungover. Burger was just okay as well. It sounds like the subs are good from other reviews, however, I have not had the chance to try one yet, and I’m not sure I’m willing to go back and test my patience.

Walked into this place on a whim and so glad i did. I was starving so I ordered a slice of pizza first and then waited for them to prepare my cordon bleu sub sandwich. Both items were really good with a major highlight being the quality of the bread used to make the sandwich. Ingredients all seemed fresh and well prepared. Then place is a little small with room for maybe about 20 – 25 people to sit comfortably so, if you stop by during prime dinner or lunch time, either expect to be crammed in with everyone or plan on taking your food to go. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu items!

Come for the pizza, but stay for the subs. You’d never know from the faded, lackluster signs touting burgers and pizza, but they have some of the best sandwiches in town. Fresh baked, crusty bread, with delicious toppings, they range from classic(meatball, French dip) to unique(Thai chicken) and they are extremely satisfying. Not gonna lie — I went there twice last week.

Located on the top on Queen Anne Hill Elliott Bay Pizza is a decent place to visit for a quick meal. The food here is standard. I had one of the Flame Burgers(who look like they share a place with or have two menus). The burger, as others have stated, was your basic«Costco» frozen patty from all I can tell; however, it was prepared quickly, with fresh toppings and tasted far better then McDonalds or Burger King would taste. It is by no means a Red Robin or similar burger, but for the location, it serves the need. What is above and beyond here is the staff. They make small talk, they smile, they work with a sense of urgency, the store is clean and they actually walk the order to you(to go ones) around the counter and hand it off to you with a smile and say thank you for coming in. To me, this means the staff and owners care about their customers and value your business. There are many stores on Queen Anne that simply do not have a customer first attitude, but Elliott Bay Pizza and Flame Burger care.

This place kinda sucks. I have had a few burgers from their menu and they are not that good. Why anyone would put a frozen, pre-formed patty on a nice grill and then set a weight on top of it, squeezing all the juice into the fire I cannot even understand. Why use frozen burgers anyway? They taste crappy and are usually more expensive than fresh. Apathetic waitstaff except one geeky looking younger white kid, who is excellent. The pizza is hit and miss, especially if you get delivery.
