Sarah from the showroom completely saved our kitchen remodel! We had been stuck on a certain color of Kohler sink but we couldn’t get it on a tight timeframe(yes, it was our bad for ordering so late)! We’d been to the competitors and all we got were comments like«you should have ordered it sooner» and«if you go with white now, it’s going to look terrible!». Sarah was funny and efficient(one other store made us wait two days to look up if they could get it), while Sarah told us within a matter of minutes. She came up with other ideas and, in the end, came up with a better color in the exact model we had originally hoped to get! Go Sarah! Thanks for hiring such an awesome salesperson, Ferguson! Give that girl a raise!

After an incredibly asinine experience between a plumbing sub-contractor and their supplier Ferguson, I’ve come to realize that it’s best to use Ferguson for window shopping and advice, but buy online. There are plenty of alternative on-line(Amazon and HomePerfect) and local retailers(Keller Supply) who offer far better pricing and customer service. Ferguson’s in-store representative, Patty was great. She was helpful and very knowledgable. But when it came time to ordering parts, Ferguson notified us(the homeowner) that they could not sell us any parts«until the account was brought current». When we told them that the plumber(who ordered the parts through Ferguson) had been paid 100%, they didn’t care and threatened a lien(which by the way, in Washington State are almost totally toothless). In Washington, a supplier can place a lien on your property for goods delivered but not paid for. The problem is you can pay your plumber 100%(as we did) and then have them play games, keep the money, pay late, etc., and result in a lien on your property by virtue of the supplier. The problem for Ferguson is that it’s still their problem — any reasonable consumer of plumbing supplies would see that they’re coming from Ferguson(where you ordered them). Ferguson refused to supply us with a list of what they claimed had been delivered to our site — saying that was between the plumber and the home owner. How does one know that the items were actually supplied to the site? Setting up an opportunity for a plumber to put things on one person’s account and keep the supplies. Again, Ferguson’s problem — they provided the credit to the plumber — not the homeowner. Instead of working with us, they decided to pass-on their customer service to the plumber who racked up the bills without paying Ferguson. Ferguson is where we went to pick out the product and Ferguson’s name was the product list. Again, Ferguson’s problem. Had Ferguson better explained their position, perhaps the mess would be different. They chose not to share important information and made threats that were beyond reproach. The fact is, it is THEIR account with the plumber — not ours. They should be asking themselves FIRST — well before becoming the jerk in the situation — «how do we resolve this with the plumber to make sure the plumber who’s using us, is not giving us a bad name. If the plumber hasn’t paid us, we need to first go after the plumber.» Anyway, we saved 20−40% beyond the lowest Ferguson contractor prices. Ferguson is a huge national company with zero customer accountability. They mistakenly abdicate their customer service to contractors/commercial buyers and completely ignore any input by their final customer. By forcing their contractor clients to be the intermediary, they confuse their position as the recognized supplier with their responsibility to the end user. Use them for advice but buy elsewhere. After the original attempt to post this, Ferguson had the guts to complain to Unilocal and have it taken down. Re-written with more to-the-point experience — their efforts only further point out that Ferguson doesn’t care about their customer.

I was here March 2011 with great expectations for a main floor bathroom plan– left with poor impression. Again March 2012 for a new construction bathroom & left with very poor attitude, never to return. Rep demonstrated little interest in what I was wanted — basic, little frill, not highend interested. Rep promised pictures, specs & prices for what I choose. 7 days later still hadn’t produced to my builder or to me what we asked for. Builder had to ‘get on it’ & still it failed to please me. We went to the competition of Keller Supply & in 30 minutes she met my every desire. What a difference maturity & experience makes in consultants. Your lose Ferguson.

Lovely showroom with an amazing array of high end plumbing, sinks, toliets, faucets, vessel bowls, etc. Even better than Best Plumbing(on stone way) or Kellers(on 17th near Dravus). Service was much better too. Really extensive and great for those in the thick of remodeling decisions.
