Much of my art pieces at home come from this gallery. They have an extensive selection of art and Paula does an amazing job framing. She has great taste and always brings out the best in the art pieces with her framing. She is also very friendly and helpful, and always has love and dog biscuits for my dogs.

Head and shoulders above other places, be it chain store or private. They take extra time to work with you. Their selection is much greater than other places, and as a result they have more options with their creativity and yours. I have so much confidence in their taste, skill, and abilities that I can just bring a piece of work in, and just tell them blindly to «Do what you think looks best», and it does.

As a photo lab owner, I have had made several recommendations for Fine Impressions Gallery over the years. Mounting, matting, framing services are excellent. They also have a large selection of prints and posters for sale. They are very good with advice and suggestions for frame stocks and matting. They don’t rush you, no fear if you are not experienced with framing or if you are not sure how to display your art piece.

I absolutely love this place. I can spend a good 3 – 4 hours here browsing through engravings, prints, drawings, old posters and other wonderful things. Owners are great to work with and know when to leave me alone and when to sit with me through dozens of works, talking about each one of them. When I am on the hunt for art for my house, I tell my family«it will be a while» and head there. Last time I bought a beautiful original drawing of a woman in sepia, old newspaper front page print, signifying the first telegraph connection between U.S. and England and some beautiful engravings. I got everything framed and everyone thinks I spent a fortune — these pieces look so beautiful and elegant. I am still coveting a gorgeous old poster showing woman with flowers, done in somewhat impressionistic manner.

I recently had an oil painting framed here and I mostly chose to go with them because of bad experiences dealing with people at other larger framing stores. It was a breath of fresh air working with the super-friendly owners of Fine Impressions and they helped me choose out an awesome frame that perfectly matched what I was going for, which was a mid 1800’s victorian era sort of look. They didn’t rush the process at all and were extremely helpful with helping me make a decision and following up throughout the whole process. Since I also had the canvas stretched there as well, they also gave me a decent discount too.

I had two posters on my first visit and one painting on a subsequent visit framed here. I could not have been happier with the experience. Knowing nothing about how to choose a frame for any of my pictures, I made good use of the staff who gave me the impression that it would have been perfectly all right if I spent all day in there talking with them and examining options. When all my items were finished, on site, the craftsmanship was excellent and my items looked fantastic — the perfect frames for each of them. Keep in mind that this is a smaller, local business and as I said, all work is done on site. Turn around when they are busy may take a while, but it is worth it.
