Jessica Schultz – Hair Stylist

I’ve been going to Jessica for two years now, and I’ve never left an appointment unhappy. I started coming to her because she’s the only person on Seattle that will use henna, and her method is flawless. I get so many compliments on my hair, and it always feels and looks healthier after an appointment. Jessica herself is a great person, easy to talk to, and very knowledgable about hair and products. So grateful I found her. I recommend her whenever I get the chance.

I had been looking for a stylist in north Seattle and just happened to come across Jessica — she was working at a salon in my neighborhood (Styling 5^th Ave) and I booked an appointment knowing nothing about her. I was coming off my first two horrendously bad cuts in many years (a girl got razor happy with my thick hair ALL OVER) in a row and Jessica was able to completely fix my hair. It took her two hours, and I walked out with a cut I loved. I am a picky hair customer and was with my previous stylist for five years before moving to Seattle. I look for someone who puts thought into a style that works for me, offers suggestions, and knows how to give a new style without going too far. I’ve been going back every six weeks for cuts ever since my initial appointment and Jessica always gives me a great cut. She takes the time to get to know my hair and is a perfectionist. She always thinking about how it will look as it grows out, and takes the time to address the parts of my hair that tend to get bulky or lay strangely as they grow. I adore Jessica and she’s a pro at what she does. And her prices are such a bargain. So thrilled that I found her!

Jessica has been cutting my hair for almost 15 years. I don’t even consider trying anyone else, there is no need. I can show her a picture or give a description and she is able to cut my hair just the way I wanted. She has done henna, highlights for me that turned out gorgeous! She also cuts my husband’s hair, my teenage daughter’s hair and my college aged son’s hair.

One of the best hair stylists I’ve ever had, Jessica really has helped me discover what cut and style works well with my head shape and hair texture. Consistency and punctuality is really important to me, so she will schedule the extra the time to execute the last touch up detail that I really appreciate. My cut is short and angled, and she gets it just the way I like every time!

My favorite is to go in and say «Do what you do best, make me look great.» Then I describe the look I’m going for. Give me the «corporate-​ladder-​climber-​look», or the «summer-​surfer-​look». My last was the «low-​maintenance, business-​man, must-​look-​good-​after-​taking-​off-​the-​motorcycle-​helmet-​look».
She knows just what to do, and I trust her 100%. I always look my best when I leave, and I feel confident when I meet new people.
