Their Noise Hotline says all calls will be responded to within 24 hours. This is not true. Planes destined to land at this airport have recently begun hammering my neighborhood with incessant noise. I’ve called multiple times and sent an email. I have yet to receive a response; good luck getting anyone to answer the phone or reply to an email. Noisy, low-flying jets are flying over my house all day and night. I give them a big fat F for their failure to address noise complaints and for being bad neighbors. King County Airport, you are terrible. This is not the way to run a business. Update: So a week later I finally receive a response. Guess what? They’re blaming Seatac. I watch KCIA jets fly directly over my greenbelt and online I watch them fly into KCIA, but they are not to blame? I lost all respect for this airport.

BFI is a no nonsense airport. The newly remodeled general aviation terminal is a great place to start or end your trip. Free parking(kindly inform the proper party of your spot number), a small café to pick up something to eat, some ticket counters, a waiting area, and a couple gates. I usually drive up to the airport, park, and maybe spend about 15 minutes total in the terminal area, waiting for my pilot to take us out to the plane. Thats quite remarkable given today’s travel realities. SeaPort and Kenmore Airlines operate scheduled service out of the airport. Many charter outfits operate out of BFI as well.

* Nice little airport — with a million dollar view! * What a lovely little international airport! It has primarily private aircraft, corporate jets, cargo, military(including Air Force One when in Seattle), and some very small passenger airlines like Kenmore Air. You just have to love an international airport that has free parking(stalls 1 – 83!) and a note that says, «Please let your airline know your stall number.» The airport also serves as a base for Boeing to test and deliver some of its newly manufactured planes. But the priceless thing(besides the convenient free parking!) is the view of Mt. Ranier towering over the runways on a clear day(which yesterday was thankfully!). Beautiful!
