Le Crêpe Café is now Mobatta Crêpe and 100 times better! They use quality fresh ingredients and have an awesome menu. A great lunch option for the downtown work option. I am only giving it a 4 out of 5 stars because the prices are a tad bit expensive and because they close at 4pm, no late work night crepes. :(

Let’s just say that the on-campus food at UW is far superior to this.

This was the last place my g/f and I ate in Seattle while on vacation. we wanted something quick next to our hotel before departing and came upon this little place –I can’t speak about the crepes b/c I had the breakfast burrito. nothing special but not bad at all… no complaints. my g/f had a breakfast crêpe with I think cheese, sausage etc… she didn’t have any complaints as well. I am aware that other Unilocalers have complained about the crepes so proceed with caution –the facility was very clean and nice looking. bunch of framed pictures etc. had these unique looking lights across the room –this place also serves lunch as well(sandwiches etc).haven’t had those though –overall, seems like a decent place. average at best. even though it wasn’t busy, the order did take a little on the longer side

Look, that is NOT how you make a crêpe. You don’t stick some rubbery cheese into it along with whatever else, then heat it up in the microwave. No sauce; no authenticity. No flavor. Big prices. Who taught them this? The panini I ordered once was horrible. It was toasted foccaccia bread with a leaf of basil in it, that had been passed over the aforementioned rubbery cheese to catch the scent, then sold to me at an exhorbinant price. Nice ladies, but not nice enough for this.

I’m new to working in the Pioneer Square/Downtown area, and have started my search for a good café/deli/crepery for lunch. The specials board enticed me with a Reuben, and I couldn’t resist ordering even if it fancied itself a crêpe shop. I mean, if it’s on a specials board, it can’t be crap, can it? The rye bread was mediocre at best, half-toasted and bland. I lifted up the bread to see if there was any corned beef, and saw that half of the stack of meat was on one side of the bread, leaving the other side nearly bare. The rest of the components were minimal, and there was a single spoonful of potato salad beside the sandwich. I was greatly disappointed, and will not return. The ambiance wasn’t enough to make me want to come back, though I may consider it if someone else raves about the crepes.

I go here often because it’s ridiculously close to work. I’ve had three different items so far: the spinach and chicken crêpe, the chocolate and banana crêpe, and the café club. I tend to agree with the reviewer that compared the crepes to something akin to latex. I’ve had many a non-french crêpe in my day, but they were always light, thin, and fluffy. The chicken in the crêpe here is not the high quality white meat one might hope for. The chocolate and banana crêpe was pretty good, mostly because the yummy filling distracts you from the actual crêpe. The sandwich is neither great nor awful. The potato salad is pretty good, but beware — they will always forget to give you some. The three Asian ladies that work at this place are nice, but some French ownership would be ideal.

No atmosphere whatsoever, but what do you expect? The crepes looked and tasted exactly like crepes to me and the service was friendly. Good for lunch or a late afternoon sugar-rush.

I am by no means a savory crêpe novice, so trust me dear reader when I warn you about this place. Oh, I wanted so much to like it. It’s close to my office. The seating isn’t terrible. The girl at the counter was all smiles. Sadly, the crêpe was horrible. It was as if they mixed normal crêpe batter with liquid latex. I ended up eating the spinach, ham and three little spots of gooey brie and leaving the crêpe in a glossy yellow heap on the side of the plate.

I waited 20 minutes for a latte — and then after waiting for my crêpe for 45 minutes I realized they had lost my order. The shop was pretty cold inside. The crêpe was sort of mediocre. Aside from missing my order, the staff was nice — they gave me a free latte card — but I don’t think I will try the food again soon.

What a lovely little café. Nice, cozy, quiet, speedy food… and definately delicious! Now after being skeptical about having a crêpe for lunch instead of breakfast, I’m convinced! Right at the bottom of the Millenium Tower, this is a super no-hassle joint. They even have adequate seating and some other magazines & books along with the traditional stack of newspapers. I got my order to go, and when I got back to my office, I was a little worried that just the crêpe alone wouldn’t fill me, but it was a large crêpe and had a fair amount of filling. $ 6 with soda. They also have many teas and coffees, as well as pannini and a few other cookies and deli snacks.
