Little Brook Park

Small park but when you live across the street its helpful. Now that the renters across the street pay almost 2k a month there are no crack dealers in the park. Its safe the problem with society is if you see kids hanging out acting bad we should check them and stop being punks most of these negative reviews are yrs old so bring your kids if you live in the area if not its nothing special to see

This is park is not a place you would like to take your kids.
The area is not itself safe. I went there with my two year old daughter & saw a group of guys in their twenties «in children’s park»! Why? I have no idea.
They were just too loud & roaming aimlessly.
You don’t want to take your kids there.

Little Brook Park is literally «Little».
Playground for your kids to play on but may only have the power to keep them busy for 30 minutes! In my opinion, Little Brook Park is ideal for a lunch date, lounging, reading, doggie breaks and/​or just to get out of the house.
Overall, I find it cute and simple. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this park but would visit it frequently if I lived nearby and had kids for daily exercise! Currently, my visits just consist of quick doggie breaks! :P

This park has gotten alot of publicity lately. Much of the news was bad, bad, bad. I decided to check it out myself, and sorry to report much of its true.
The park is about the size of a football field, perhaps alittle less. has benches, playground, grassy area to sit. The real problem is the shit that hangs out here. dealers dealing crack, was offered 2 times in 25 min. and the park is not ideal for kids. with 40 ouncers in the bushes, and condom packages in the weeds.
I am a advocate for kids, and this park is depressing and not safe. There were a few little ones playing while I was here, and hearing there laughs was wonderful. But its time for the people and cops to take this park back. Lake city has some wonderful people, and the kids deserve better.
I hate the fact that dealers are doing there business here. a place for kids. Writing this review has made me even more determined to help make that area safe for all.
