I have never seen any place that specializes in Oaxacan cuisine in Seattle. Especially in a food truck which made it a pleasant surprise when I decided to give them a try after driving passing it a few dozen times. The truck is slightly hidden as it’s nudged in between a printing shop and a Ethiopian restaurant. The small family that runs this truck are good people. Had plenty of times where I have talked to the owner. He’s very friendly and open talking about the ingredients they use in addition to it’s quality. From what I learned, they import some of their ingredients from Oaxaca! This just doesn’t happen most of the time. Especially from a food truck. Personally, I love the Chorizo at Loxicha. Unlike other places I’ve tried, this is the real deal. For starters, it isn’t really oily and you won’t feel like you need lipitor after your finished with your meal. Another plus would be that it’s chunky and has some chew to it in contrast to others that look like some sort of paste. Finally, the taste… the taste… is unlike any other Chorizo that I’ve tried. It’s deep and not overly spiced nor salty. In the end, it’s yet another great place to get food in the area.

As a vegetarian I’m always asking myself, «Ok these reviews are great, but do they have good veg options?» For this unassuming food truck, the answer is YES. I’ve gotten a vegetarian burrito and tacos here, and though they are not wildly different from each other(mainly it’s an issue of size), both are DELICIOUS. This coming from someone raised on SF Mission burritos. All the ingredients are fresh and fantastic(ranging from soft corn tortillas to smoky– and spicy!!– hot sauce). For my sake, keep these guys in business.

This place is so good! The owner is really nice — when they first opened, I wasn’t sure what to order, so I ordered a burrito(typical American lol), but he also let me sample their goat. and OHMYGOD. It was so good! Slow cooked to perfection! I had never eaten goat before and that was the perfect introduction. Since then, I’ve tried their taquitos and tacos, which have also been delicious. What I really love about this place, though, is the authenticity of their food. I grew up with a Mexican step dad, and the tacos bring me back to my adolescence. So nostalgic. I highly recommend this place!

As my wife and I were feeling adventurous to explore for a new grub spot we stumbled upon this little gem. Immediately the owner greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. My wife and I decided to order a few tacos each, but we also decided to try some entrees. The carne azada tacos were so delicious! The meat was flavorful and soft, not typical for carne azada. Then I decided to spice it up with their red hot sauce and let me tell you, it had a kick. The birria de chivo was quite good and so were their tamales de oxaca. Overall we had a fine lunch in a beautiful day in Seattle. We will be back!

Delicious tacos and great prices! I tried the chicken tamale and it was a little dry, probably because it had white meat instead of dark meat. However the flavor was good, I jazzed it up with their yummy hot sauce as well! Great addition and we love having them in the neighborhood! Cash only.

Loxicha is a fairly new, amazingly flavor filled taco truck in Pinehurst/Maple Leaf. The family is lovely and the food is sooooooo goooooood! We’ve been coming by every Sunday evening on the way back from my daughter’s derby practice. On our last visit we forgot to bring cash, but we were determined, so we gave them our order — taquitos con pollo with fresh bright green enchilada sauce and lots of cabbage on top, flavorful rice and creamy beans(each in a ½ pint container, and veggie tostadas(my carnivore hubby’s favorite) — then scrambled to the grocery store to get cash back, so we could keep our new weekly tradition going. Te quiero la comida de Loxicha!

Fav taco truck in WA. Used to go to El Camion but got tired of them not having have the stuff they list on their menu. Meat here has so much more flavor it really makes every bite pop. Love their late hours. Its cash only so far but its run by a cute family even the kids help out.

Great food! Authentic, inexpensive and friendly crew! I’ve tried their burritos and tacos, never disappointed! An extra bonus, they are open past midnight. Try them and support this local, family owned business if you can. I would have given this place 5 stars, but a downside is they do not have a card reader, cash only which unfortunately is not something I carry around usually.

Wow, finally tried this place after driving by it a few times. Wasn’t too hungry and the sign for $ 1.50 tacos intrigued me enough to try two chicken tacos. I was very impressed with how fresh and flavorful they tasted. Not the biggest tacos I’ve seen, but the price is right for the portions. Quality wise, these were as good or better than any restaurant serves, for half the price. I’m excited to try other items on the menu. Bonus, the folks running the truck are very nice.

Some of the best Local Southern Mexican food in Seattle. Asada is amazing. This is a cute little hidden gem. Not very expensive, either.

Very good traditional Mexican burritos. The meat is nicely spiced and there is a good amount of refried beans. They also offer traditional mole. Hours are a huge plus.
