The pizza was good. The Salumi plate was impressive. The dessert with vanilla bean and esspresso has haunted me since. Mmmm damn good.

I will always come to Mioposto because I love the food and the atmosphere, but the service is pretty damn bad. On their busy days they are generally understaffed, so i can understand a slow wait. However, the people who work there generally ignore you even when there’s only a few tables. Again, I understand being given subpar service as I am a 21 year old female, and people assume I’m probably not going to tip well(which is completely untrue — I’m a server so I always tip well unless I get horrible service), but what really set me off was the last time I was there I saw a server pick up a glass FROMTHERIM, and I saw his finger pretty much submerge itself into the drink. Pretty gross. There’s also this one guy who I’m pretty sure specifically hates me for no reason. The kitchen staff, however, has always seemed to be the friendliest. I always have a nice laugh to myself when I’m there on busy days and first-timers come in and are shocked at how slow the service is and how unaccommodating the workers are there. I’ll still come back though — I know what to expect and I love the food for the most part. It’s a great place to go sit and‘ read a book in peace, because you know the servers aren’t going to bother you.

Mio Posto is charming beyond words. This gem is nestled in Mt Baker on a corner. Its small but has a lot of seating and doesn’t feel crammed somehow. I love the cute table along the wall next to the bar… You can check out everything. The music and lighting are pleasant. The twinkle lights around the windows at night are a nice touch. Would be a great place for a date or dinner with friends. Feels like a treat but is affordable. Happy hour pizza is 6 bucks and delish but the beet salad is where I wish there was another star. It is SO good. I ordered one with chicken on top trying to be healthy. I would eat this salad over pizza any day of the week. The romain with beets and the goat cheese… Yum! I also recommend the owners Limoncello for 7.25… Its so good and refreshing in an adult beverage kind of way:)

Simply awesome in the middle of nowhere. Succulent tender pizza: I did not even leave any crumbs! Simultaneously casual as well as formal! Great place to bring someone you want to impress: even if pizza is not your favorite thing! Has a good collection of wines & cocktails.

Went for dinner on a cold rainy Monday evening. Had a lovely caesar salad with real parmesan, a delicious meatball sandwich served on a non-traditional baked flatbread(?), slightly freezer-burned vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sundae with wonderful whipped cream. The restaurant got quite busy but the waitress was very polite and pleasant. I was pleased the bill came to under $ 35. Understated lighting, upscale décor with mood paintings, comfortable dark wood chairs, benches and tables. Cozy and elegant without breaking the bank. Bathroom was clean.

What a great find for lunch. The meatballs made for an awesome sandwich. Did I mention the great bread that the sandwiches are made on?! Whoa… and did I mention that we did indeed have dessert. This has been added to my GOTO places. Give it a try, you will smile.

I think this place is just right. We went for lunch one day, and they have a lunch special that really hit the spot.

Very small portion of lasagna for the price and quite bland. Small salad and no bread. Don’t think I will be going back. I am tired of these mediocre Italian places, must I go to Olive Garden? OK service.

I’ve been wanting to review this place for years, I’ve been eating here for years. Just a wonderful environment along with really good food. The staff is always friendly, and it’s in a great location… near my house. It’s not a five star restaurant(I think that’s what some people expect) but it’s 5 star for this neck of the woods. I really appreciate what the owners are offering here, there isn’t a lot going on in Mt. Baker. I like it!

Ordered a caprese breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino to go. Good food– fine service. I’d like to see what else they have…

I really, really want to love this place because I can walk there from my house, but I don’t love this place. It has some good selections but is VERY expensive for what you get. The pizza is so-so and the food is good but nothing outstanding in general — especially for the high prices. The restaurant is always very noisy and often the waitstaff has the music quite loud. The two combined make the place, at times, deafening and unpleasant to be in. The staff is usually friendly though not consistently. The happy hour is okay, and that is about the only time I consider going there. There are billions of kids in this neighborhood and they don’t have a kids menu! However if you ask, they will give your kid some dough to play with. My kid loves that! There are some vegetarian selections. I have heard the brunch is good.

Great Pizza and Lasagne. the breakfast hash was definitely low sodium and low flavor, but served until 3:00 p.m. Service was a bit slow. Dog leashing outside and outdoor seating is nice.

Taking this particular location down a notch. Not only is parking challenging but the service that greets your efforts is practically indifferent. We stopped by for lunch today and all the tables that could accommodate the three of us were being used for couples. My uncle’s height and habits didn’t favor the un-bussed dirty counter seats in three different spots either. As we rubber necked for a table, no one said«hi» or even looked at us so… we took the hint and drove on to Pizzeria Pulcinella for a wonderful lunch. Now that Mioposto made it to West Seattle –which is fabulous– I can’t see my family or friends and I returning to the Mt. Baker restaurant again. See ya!

Excellent takeout pizza. Ready in fifteen minutes. Unique combinations of toppings that both children and adults will enjoy. This will be a regular place for us.

This is some excellent Neopolitan style pizza. For some reason I thought this was a coffee shop and we hadn’t visited even though we walk by it regularly when we are ambling through the neighborhood. The pizza was flavorful and nice and crisp. The desserts were good too. I think I may give this a try for breakfast. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive.

Wow the service here is bad. My wife and I were greeted with a «only bar seats available right now» with no hello or welcome or an estimate on table wait time. We grabbed a few seats at the front window and were served some water. The water was good. I can’t comment on the food because after waiting for 30 – 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us or even catch our eye so we could ask to order we left. We’re now at Central Pizza which is about 1000x better.

Happy hour pizza and house red wine topped off a walk in the neighborhood. Met an associate there and the welcome from the staff was heartfelt and service good. Mioposto…“my house”. Like it!

Came across this little place while in the area for a work related training. What a find! I came with two co-workers and we all loved the space, the food, and the service. Although the place is small there is ample seating. The décor is absolutely lovely… Especially the artwork. This is the kind of place I wish Olympia! We were a bit pressed for time and unsure of whether or not we would be able to finish lunch before we had to go. The food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious! I had the roasted beet salad with chicken added… Wow! So. Freakin.’ Good. Co-workers were equally pleased with their choices… A calzone and a sandwich. Our server, Ben, was awesome! I can definitely see myself driving up to spend an evening here!

There aren’t a lot of decent dining options in the Mt. Baker, Columbia City area with also a good ambience. Miposto is one of the few to choose from. Unfortunately my experience was lackluster. Service was very unattentive, to put it mildly. The wine pours were very stingy and the prices are somewhat high for what you get but not outrageously so. The other issue with this place is that it is LOUD. I had difficulty hearing what the other person across the table was saying. It’s because the place is all hard surfaces and so the sound bounces all over the place. I’d go back if I had to eat in the Mt. Baker district and was craving pizza but otherwise I will be looking elsewhere for a better Rainier Valley casual upscale dining establishment. If I lived in the area and thereby was biased by the convenient location, I might give this place the benefit of the doubt and go four stars, but compared to what else is out there in the Seattle area, I have to be honest and for that evening give it 3. 4-star food, 2-star service, 3-star value.
