It’s a lovely outdoor amphitheatre, has ample space, and a concrete stage at the front. The audience area isn’t graded, but rather, it’s a level grass field. It was a great place to host the Cystic Fibrosis walk.

No way in heck! This place is a migraine in the making! There are far too many street bums lounging around this venue. I wanted to enjoy the show but a drugged-up hippie was twerking in front of me all evening. Security, please get him out of here. I was told he «lives» here. Alas, the mural amphitheater is his home.

This is a great open air stage on the Seattle Center grounds. There is a large mural which acts as a backdrop to the stage which is why the place is named as such. On a nice day, this is a wonderful place to see a band play or just people watch. There are plenty of food options in the surrounding area so a picnic could even be a good option. This is one of those places where you never know what you might see on any given day, but it’s always worth a look.

This is one of the many reasons that I love Seattle. Free stuff is awesome, and I have seen many free concerts at the Mural Amphitheatre. The beautiful green grass lawn makes the perfect, comfortable seat to see some talented performers. With the Armory steps away, and a beer garden, there is little more you need.

Fun, great place to see a concert, especially when it is a free KEXP concert at the Mural. A awesome way to see local Seattle talent(new and established). The Mural is a part of Seattle history… it is a keeper.

Cool summer nights and outdoor cinema. Fantastic. Grease was playing tonight. Would’ve loved to sing at the top of my lungs, during Sandy’s lovelorn ballad«Hopelessly Devoted,»(haven’t we all had that moment – oh Sandy, I feel you, sister) and during Rizzo’s tough as nails tribute to herself(damn, really, I’m there with you, girl – we can’t be giving it away that easily, but what are our other choices?) but I didn’t want to disturb my neighbors. Yeah, I’m considerate that way. Thanks Seattle Center for providing free entertainment. Too bad summer’s almost over.

There aren’t many good things about Seattle Center for those who aren’t tourists. If I were a jerk I would just leave it at that and not write any more on the subject. I’m so glad this is here. I saw Pela and Cater Tanten tonight and they totally annihilated the place. The new KEXP free shows are perfect for a nice sunny day like today. Not a cloud in the sky. Directly behind the stage is the Space Needle and the Amphitheatre projects the sound very well. They also have a beer garden if you feel like getting your drink on. I saw plenty of families, friends and dogs watching free music. Also some highly entertaining dancing in front of the stage*. It was a blast! Get out there now and enjoy it, while the weather’s still gorgeous!!! *I swear that this one group of people dancing there were a dance troupe trying to perform the Charlie Brown Christmas dance moves shown here:
