I agree with Eugene O that Dr. Nemitz is a great dentist, there is no argument there. His staff was also great, always followed through, gave reminder notices, and called to make sure everything is okay after your appointment. He is more than semi-retired now and the practice is mainly run by Dr. Lee, who has also changed the dental team as well. Dr Lee doesn’t communicate well… sometimes not at all and if you used to see Dr. Nemitz, when you go into the office, you will notice a huge reduction in files behind the reception desk, whether that is due to closing out of files that was never done, or because patients have moved on to bigger and better dentists, I can’t answer. I can say that my family is changing dentists. Which brings about another factor. When calling the office to have records sent over to the new dentist, I was told to just email the office because they need something in writing. Since I work in a law office, I would think they need a legal release signed(which I have had to do when I moved from Chicago to Seattle) and asked for an email once the records were ready to be picked up. I still haven’t heard back from them. No follow though, no communication, no patients.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Nemitz since I was 14 years old(half of my lifetime). He’s like my second dad. I’ve seen several dentists when I moved out of state a few years ago, and it was certainly not the same. Dr. Nemitz’s office has the best front office money can buy. They’re on top of their game and follow-up with you on everything you could imagine. The hygienists are caring(borderline loving), listen to your concerns and are communicative. The instruments used in the office are modern and anything but old. I had a sonic plaque scraper in my mouth at my last cleaning. Now THAT’S modern technology! Dr. Nemitz is semi-retired, so you might see Dr. Lee. She’s just as good. If you want to see a dentist for cleanings, cosmetic needs and everything in between, I’d highly recommend Dr. Nemitz’s practice.
