To be fair, we had a positive experience when we were in the store to shop! However, during that visit we tried to cancel an order that we had placed online because we found a pair of shoes in the store that we liked better. Oddly enough, they weren’t able to cancel the order for us in the store and when we tried to do it online it was too late. So… when the shoes arrived I drove to this store to return them. Maddy informed me that they would just«run them upstairs to FedEx» and ship them back for me. When I asked why, she said that it was a «win win for everyone» because I would get my credit faster and the store wouldn’t take the hit for an online return. I was uneasy about this plan since I would basically be leaving the store with nothing to prove that I had returned a $ 150 pair of shoes. After assurance from the store manager, Mike, that«they do this all the time» I left with nothing but a copy of my packing slip. Today, 7 days later, there is no sign of the return on my credit card statement. I first called the store where Mike told me I could check the status of my return online — how helpful! I did so — nothing!!! I then contacted Customer Service and a very nice girl, Desiree, was able to tell me that the shoes are scheduled for delivery back to them on Friday — 9 days after I returned them! In my opinion, Maddy and Mike took their sweet time«running the shoes upstairs to FedEx». Desiree explained that I might be able to see my credit by the end of next week. A full 2 ½ weeks after I returned them. So, shop at your own risk. And if you need to return something, get a receipt!

Smaller selection but if you’re just browsing, this is a great place to come. Or if you’re up on their latest trends for running. Can’t beat those flyknits for a lightweight running shoe.

I went to the Nike Running store to look at different shoes, as the ones I have now aren’t really suitable for my regular workouts. Taylor was super helpful and beyond knowledgeable about all the different options. She helped me pick out the perfect pair, even though they didn’t have my preferred color in stock! Did you know they offer free 24-hour shipping if their store doesn’t have the size/color/etc. you want/need?

Came into this location for the weekend because I wanted to do an exchange. My older sister bought me Flyknit free runs and two Nike Capes, and they all were way too big on me. Came in and a nice girl told me to just leave my items up front til I find something to exchange. The guys on the floor seemed to be more into talking to their co workers than helping out potential customers that want to buy stuff. I had to chase down someone to grab me a shoe size lol. But everything else was fine, knocked a star off because I wish it was an actual niketown store instead of a nike running store, selection is very limited :(

So I went into the University Village Nike Running store the other day just to look around at some of the flyknits. The sales associate who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I wasn’t in there for long because I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work. After leaving the store, I quickly turned around because I forgot that I really wanted to ask a quick question. I went up to the front register and asked to see if they would be getting the new Nike Flyknit Chukka Frees, or if they would be limited edition since they haven’t been released yet. This employee told me that I could expect seeing them in the store in about a month or less. He then asked me if it worked in University Village, and I replied saying that I did. He then asked me if the store I work at measures conversion(measures the proportion of visitors to a retail outlet who make a purchase) and I replied yes because most retail stores do. After my reply, he stated«Because you are killing ours.» I was caught completely off guard as I wasn’t being unfriendly or anything of the sort. I don’t know if he was trying to be funny, as it didn’t seem like it, but it was really unprofessional and it came across as a really rude and snide remark and I left the store feeling embarrassed. I do not know if he was just a sales associate, or maybe higher up in management(which I would assume since managers would care much more about conversion), but either way, that is not something that should ever be said to any customer. I work in retail and I would never say something like that to someone who walked in the door. Especially since I have been inside that store probably only around 5 times since it has opened. Now I don’t feel comfortable going back into that store, especially if he is working there. As a customer, you should be able to go inside any store and feel free to look around as much as you want. Just because I come into your store, does not mean I have to purchase anything. Instead, the employees should be more focused on providing the best service that they can and making customers feel welcome. I have had a great experience every single other time I have gone into the store. But because of this past experience, I don’t plan on coming back into that store much at all anymore, and especially if I see him working there.

So glad they’ve finally decided to add some more men’s stores to U-village. The staff here are much much more helpful than their counterparts at the Niketown in Seattle. Open store layout makes it very accommodating and less stressful for those who aren’t shoppers. A lot of supplemental gear outside of clothing for runners — trigger point therapy rollers are magical. I’m always guaranteed a size at this location and if they don’t have it for some reason it’s not a problem — the company-wide store locator option will find it for you. Ask about the Nike running club. You’ll thank me later. #fitfam

It’s great to see U Village expanding their store selection and I was surprised to see a Nike store in the area. The store is definitely not Nike Town(downtown) but offers a variety just enough to not overwhelm the consumer. There isn’t a huge selection and available are the basics including a small variety of mens and womens clothing, shoes and accessories. I walked away with a pair of runners and some shoelaces for my other runners. The sales reps were super friendly and helpful and offered good advice and were knowledgeable about the products.
