Janine is, hands down, my favorite massage therapist of all time… and honey, I’ve tried them all. I’ve been seeing Janine for several years, and her range of techniques are exactly what I need — every time I leave, I feel like a whole new person. To me, one of the things that sets Janine apart from other Seattle massage therapists is she studied in New York; the state of New York requires significantly more hours/​credits than Washington, and she is a superior massage therapist in both breadth of knowledge and skill. The second thing that makes her so great is she actually, genuinely cares about her clients, and that makes a huge difference. Janine is fan-freakin’-tastic.
The room is impeccably clean, the music soothing, the massage therapeutic and relaxing. Janine did an excellent job of checking in with me (too hard? too gentle?) and answered my questions knowledgeably and with helpful post-​massage advice.
I work in a studio where I’m constantly hunched over a workbench, tense and over-​taxing one side of my back. When I told Janine this, she made sure to ask which specific areas of my back were most knotted up and to pay extra attention to those muscles.
I’m definitely not going to waste time and money pursuing the Perfect Massage anymore — I found it!

Getting a massage from Janine is a better treat than cupcakes, ice cream, and cookies combined! Not only does she remember my name and things about me when I walk in the door, she cares.
Janine is very professional and incredibly skilled. I feel completely relaxed and comfortable when she is working on my muscles and knots. I also appreciate that I never feel rushed and able to enjoy the whole time from start to end.
Parking is easy and the location is great. The office and room are very well organized, and very clean. When the muscles get tight, the tight get going to Janine!

Janine is an excellent massage therapist. I’ve been really happy with her work. Her style of massage is a little different than many of the Seattle massage therpists, in that she was trained on the East coast, which I find to be a nice change! I’ve seen about eight massage therapists in Seattle, and for me she is one of the best. I would strongly recommend her.

I’ve gotten (2) massages over the past few months from Janine and each one has been incredible! To put it in context — they were both 60 minute massages, but they each seemed to last about 80 minutes or so. Each time I’ve left totally relaxed and a whole new person. I highly recommend Janine and will be going back myself soon.
