I normally come to study because they have sockets and the restaurant is spacious. But you can’t really expect much with its price. The food, the bread, and the coffee weren’t good but the people are pretty friendly. Well, most of them. lol You also get a free pastry if you become its member!

dont accidentally leave anything there. i forgot 2 chargers plugged in, and called when i got home to see if they found it. they confirmed it was there, so when i went back days later it was gone. the manager wasnt willing to ask his staff about finding it, nor was he interested in finding out who the employee was that that i talked to. he finally asked for my contact info but the impression i got was he really didnt care. yes i forgot the charger. but when an employee tells me they have it, and i go to get it and its gone, and then the manager doesnt really give a shit, i just get a clear picture of the kind of staff at panera on broadway.

5 stars for overall experience. We came to Panera specifically for the bread bowl and they were out. Nicholas at the register provided great customer service. He accommodated us very well by offering the soup with extra French Baguettes. He was sincere and appologetic. The soup tasted just as good and we still left happy. It’s that level of customer service that keeps people coming back. Way to go Nicholas and Panera.

My biggest complaint about Panera is that it’s really easy to get tired of and the food can be inconsistent. I’ve ordered some menu items that are wonderful every time, and others that have the same issues over and over again. For instance, their broccoli cheddar soup is always delightful – creamy, velvety cheddar base, with melt-in-your mouth pieces of broccoli and carrot. It is warm, fast, and great for any season. Their mozzarella Panini, on the other hand, could use an overhaul. It’s a Panini crust filled with lettuce, sundried tomatoes, a tiny bit of mozzarella, and a whole lot of grease. Every time I try to eat this, I find the flavor appealing, but the mess it makes is worse than even the greasiest slice of pizza. One thing that IS nice about Panera is that you can get a decent meal(soup + salad or soup + sandwich or sandwich + soup) for a really good price(under $ 10 usually.) It’s much better than most lunch options that could rival it in speed. You can also order online, so if your whole office orders, they can do it individually but send only one person to pick it all up. Panera is the very definition of A-Ok. It’s not great, it’s not terrible, but it’s leaning on the good side of average. Plus, the cookies are pretty fantastic.

This place is not bad, but we expected better. My girls and I came to grab takeout for an impromptu picnic. It shouldn’t be too hard to get three small orders right. My roasted turkey and avocado sandwich was good, but assembled sloppily. I get it– sometimes, half sandwiches are harder to put together. But c’mon. you wrapped it in paper! My friend ordered a half order of chicken caesar salad. We got the park– and there was no chicken. This was after her cashier accidentally charged her for a whole salad, cancelled the order, and re-rang her order. We checked the receipt and found that the cashier had failed to put«chicken» in her salad order. Sigh. On the upside, the lemonade is fantastic. Tart and just sweet enough. Perfect for a sunny Seattle day.

Only like My second time here, but I’ve had a great experience. I got the quinoa oatmeal and a banana. Affordable for what it is. I l0ved that T/they had soda water available! Friendly service. Could use a little improvement there but I still had a quality experience.

We’ve had pastries forgotten and left out of our order, forgotten croutons for our salad and soup, and a dinky baguette. and these all occhrsed while the store was not very busy.

You know, it’s funny that I haven’t entered a Panera Bread in 5 years because the last time I did, I received snotty service. Then what should happen today when I FINALLY gave a different Panera another try? Yep, you guessed it, snotty service. Here’s what the manager needs to point out to Ash: when someone orders a coffee with cream, you do NOT flippantly hand them an empty cup at forehead level while they’re trying to use the payment machine. Simplified: give the cup to the person’s hand, not their head One can also extrapolate from this exchange that I didn’t know I was expected to get my own coffee. NO problem, but when someone asks for a coffee with cream, Ash needs to be told you then politely explain how your style of service works. Finally, please instruct Ash that at the end of the transaction, he’s to say«thank you». Perhaps he should practice this in the manager’s office? It’s a simple concept. If Ash can’t get this, you ARE located right across from a college, so fire him and try again. Needless to say, I’m not in a rush to try Panera again — «Great Bread, Snotty Service» just isn’t a draw for me…

In general, I like Panera. The ‘pick 2′ menu is confusing as all get out. To me, anything I order seems like ‘homestyle’ — which to me is authentic, and real. The food is consistent, but this location has a lot of transient /school traffic, which takes away the regular Panera ‘zen’.

Ok, to start with, like, NO. Allow me the pleasure of explaining to you why this there is actual zero reasons why you would like to give this ‘establishment’ you hard earned ‘merican dollar. A lot of people dont know that ‘Panera’ is Spanish for ‘bread box’ or French for ‘to bread’ in the future, and ‘Bread’ is English for a staple food prepared from a dough of flour and water, usually by baking. WHICHISOBJECTIVELYNOTWHAT I ATEHERE. I was served a stale contraption, with a vague olfactory semblance to a vaginal yeast infection. WHY? Panera, WHY? Not to mention, they did not have the redeeming quality of having friendly service either. I did not think it was possible to hire all of the rude people in one place, but they showed me! But you know what, at least they were consistent, not only did the bread not taste like bread, the turkey did not taste like turkey either and the scone tasted like eating a large triangular sugar cube. Also, where did they find apples this small? Like if you were going to give me a side, at least give me an appreciably sized apple. Quick Tips: 1. This place is surrounded by a plethora of other restaurants, do yourself a favor and eat at one of those instead. 2. Their Wifi is pretty fast and free. 3. Their bread is terrible!(I know!!) 4. There is a pleasant flux of homeless people, more reasons to just not. 5. The service could be better, a little racist, a little intolerant, a dash judgmental, but not a crying shame.

I only discovered the amazing food offered at Panera within the past year, so now I understand why everyone raves about it and why it’s always busy. In addition to muffins, bagels, and other pastries, there is a nice variety of sandwiches to include flatbreads and Panini; they also have several types of soup and salad. The bread is always fresh and tastes delicious. One of my favorite menu items is the Chicken Frontega Panini, so I usually end up getting that and not experimenting with much else. I’ve tried a few of the other sandwiches, though, and everything is delicious. There is also a kids’ menu if you’re bringing the little ones. One of the things I like about Panera is that even though it’s basically a fast-food establishment, the food is served on really nice plates and bowls with actual silverware. It’s definitely a classier touch! I go to this location regularly, and I always receive great service from one employee in particular. Paul is very friendly and welcoming, and he always takes time to treat me as a valued customer. Great attitude! Since this location is in Capitol Hill, parking is limited to street parking and very limited. It’s across the street from Seattle Central Community College, so it’s a very busy area. The restrooms are for customers only, and you’ll need to obtain an entry code when you make a purchase. Sadly there aren’t any military discounts, but they do have a MyPanera loyalty program. Every visit will accumulate towards a reward; sometimes it might be a free hot tea or beverage item, other times it may be a free pastry. Rewards expire, though, so make sure to use them or you will definitely lose them. My only real disappointment with every Panera location I’ve been to is that the tables are always dirty. No matter when I go, there are always several tables that are in need of being wiped off and I end up having to clean it myself. There needs to be a little more attention to the dining area at all Panera locations so that customers will always have a clean place to dine.

So I was a fan until I found out a majority of their food is from frozen or processed. The mac n cheese, soups, and even the bread. The drinks are all powdered mixes. Not going to use my money on factory food when there are so many better options in the area.

I love going here for breakfast while going to classes at Seattle Central! They’ve always made my food taste great and I don’t have to wait too long for anything. I think that the service is great, I come here in the mornings and I know John and Brian by their names and they are always a positive vibe that I like in the morning! Definitely try their blueberry bagels and apple crunch muffins, they’ll satisfy the sweet tooth!

This review isn’t about the particular location per se, it’s about panera in general. It’s OK as the stars suggest. If it’s the only thing around I’ll eat it but I have rarely been a fan of many things I’ve ordered. It’s still low quality ingredients in my opinion. I will say that their Fontina Grilled Cheese is super tasty and totally worth the calories if you’re craving warm gooey comfort food :) I do also enjoy their healthy side options.

I’ve actually never been to Panera Bread to eat, but yesterday I had a basketball game at SCCC. Some dude on the team we were playing sprained his ankle and they didn’t have any substitutes, so while I was on the bench I ran downstairs to see if the dude running the SCCC gym had any ice. He did not, and suggested I run up the street and get some from Panera. I was all sweaty, walking in there with a jersey and shorts on, and a lovely young woman named Maria was happy to get me some ice. She bagged it up in like a trash bag type thing(like a trash bag for bathroom use) and even tied it for me! She was like a little nurse! She made a very practical ice pack and sent me on my way. I got back to the gym and the guy who twisted his ankle was laying on the ground with his ankle elevated up on a chair. I gave him the ice and told him not to thank me, but thank Maria from Panera Bread. TL;DR I’ve never been to Panera to eat, only to get a makeshift ice pack, but their customer service is #1!

Every time I would bring my girlfriend here, I’d get laid when I got home. When we broke up, I stopped coming here bc I’m an emotionally driven, man sized baby. Well that’s stupid bc this place rules. I don’t care about the free wifi but I’m sure that’s nice for some. I do like eating soup SOMUCH. The food is always tasty/fresh and the staff is very warm. Due to its location next to a giant drug park, there are some questionable humans slurming around outside, but that’s not panera’s fault — just be warned. Glad I came back! Also, soup.

I came here for breakfast on the way to something else, and got a passable pastry and ok coffee. Service was very good, but the atmosphere is bland, and the food/coffee are also bland. I give it a 3 stars for effort, but not for quality.

I’ve always been a big fan of Panera. The menu is extensive and their baked goods are tantalizing. Today the Broadway location cinched their place in my heart, though. Manager accidentally charged me for a spinach salmon salad(I ordered the salmon Caesar). He told me there was a 0.30 difference, so I declined a refund. He sent me on my way with a free chocolate chip cookie(still warm). Dining room clean, looks like free wi-fi(maybe it is a code with purchase). Try the garden pesto soup and salmon Caesar!

Sure it’s a chain restaurant but I actually like Panera. It’s a great place to study or lounge at plus they serve good food. Ok it’s not like gourmet but I personally think the food here is tasty and satisfies my hunger. I usually get their meal deals that comes with a sandwich, salad and apple. My favorite sandwich here is their Turkey bacon bravo, and I love that they they use tomato basil bread. So good! They also have free Wi-fi. Score.
