I love this place. It’s always busy, which is a good sign — depending on how you look at it. I always order the grilled pork with fried egg. Always tastes fresh with just the right amount of flavor. I recommend the rice combo plate or grilled pork/chicken. Atmosphere is low-lit and cozy. Wait times are short to moderately average(15 – 20). Always closed on Sunday’s or holidays. Staff is friendly and personable. I LIKE

My girlfriend and I go here way too often. One of the best phở restaurants I’ve been to. Everything is delicious and the service is excellent.

This review is only for the phở. Five stars for the phở! Holy smokes — I LOVE this PHO. Seriously, loved it! The meat to noodle ratio was PERFECT and the broth was nice and flavorful. Often times I find myself adding a bunch of soy to even coax some flavor out of phở broth but not here — just a little hot sauce and I was all set. Just an FYI — the chicken phở comes in a beef broth. My dining companions had the veggie phở — which looked to be LOADED with veggies and tofu. My cousin gave me all of her bok choy and oh man, was it a tasty addition. I am already looking forward to going back the next time I find myself in West Seattle!

This is our go to restaurant for phở. The best around. We have gone quite a few times. Same every time. The employees are very nice and attentive. I would recommend to anyone.

After discovering the joy of Phở I find myself on a discovery to seek out various Phở spots. This leads me to Phở Aroma. Situated in the semi seedy part of Delridge, this restaurant is A-OK in my book. The Phở had great broth and the extra noodle I ordered wasn’t necessary. We also had the egg rolls that were very good. They also have a pretty good variety when it comes to the other dishes which I will try on another occasion.

We love Phở– it’s as basic a comfort food as it can get. Here it’s a very fast serve out– nothing overly complicated and service is polite but definitely not friendly. We ordered Phở’s got very little service. Soda has to be refilled — 2nd refill didn’t arrive till end of meal. Ladies in the back — if you watch handle the side components of Phở with bare hands. It’s bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño. Not squeamish about it– but some might not like the fact. The broth isn’t overly complicated. Really simple and noodles are done correctly. Aside from the lack of attention /hospitality.

Tried this place for first time last night and will be back. We ordered an appetizer«pork roll» and Phở. Both were delicious and filling. Service was friendly and enjoyed the atmosphere– much cleaner than the typical Phở establishment. Looking forward to trying some of the other dishes on the menu that looked delicious.

Im so not going back to this place. Me and my boyfriend just got out from this place 1 ½ hour ago and we start having diarrhea! He ordered a vegetarian phở and i ordered the vietnamese crêpe, and 2 coconut juice. The foods taste ok, not special. Our bill came out to 29.30ish and i paid with my card. When the receipt came to me, it says 30.38, so they added 1 $ by them self. It was not a pleasant dinner for us. I hope my review can prevent the next customer to choose the wrong food or place

Best phở I’ve ever had. Had the pork and shrimp bun(vermicelli) With an added egg, amazing. 11.28 $ after tax and the extra egg. After a workout this is my new healthy but delicious place to go. The way the runny eggs ends up on the pork and noodles make me happy.

This place is hella bomb. The food is great and the prices are not bad at all. I plan to come to this place alot more in the future with family and friends. They have polite waitresses. The customers that come in are reasonable so i have no complaints

So glad we decided to try Phở Aroma tonight! Than Brothers on California is just far too nasty(though, good), and the phở place on 16th in White Center(across from Meanders) is hella rude. So! We go to Phở Aroma tonight, and get the wonderful experience of a welcoming ambience, delicious broth, great service, and reasonable prices. 4 stars because they did not have a huge variety of phở types.

Yep, love it. Small like most phở places. I can’t speak to their other food but I love the phở here, and it’s my go-to anytime I’m sick, it’s raining, I’m sad or any other excuse I have to stop by. The broth is delicious and it’s got my preferred broth to noodle ratio(though I order extra meat out of habit). The people working here are quiet and reserved but always nice. A lot of people seem a bit upset on Unilocal about the signs that *politely* inform you they have a right to refuse service if you can’t keep your kids under control. I want to point out that the owner seems to really like kids, doing up the whole place every Halloween, giving out candy, ooohing and awwwwing over costumes, etc. I’ve also been in their when toddlers do their trademark screeeeeech over something exciting and no staff have ever said a word. I’ve also never had huge issues with service, but not being the type to expect five star service with a $ 10 order might have something to do with this. Looking for great local phở at a family run business? Step into phở aroma and enjoy your soup, a pot of tea and those great little candies they give with your bill. Unhappy paying 0.50 for using a debit card, uncomfortable with people acknowledging that screaming children bother other patrons or expecting your dirt cheap food to be served with white gloves? Don’t risk it, eat somewhere else.

I visited phở aroma for the first time tonight and enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is cozy with plants and art. A red wall mural warms it up inside and it was a welcome relief from the rain outside. The food was also quite good. I had the chicken phở. I wish it wasn’t in beef broth, but it was well balanced and served piping hot. The portion was generous. My boyfriend had an entrée that was shrimp, peppers, onion, pineapple, etc. cooked up together. It smelled amazing and smoky and he said it was good too. The portion did not fill him up. The Bahn mi apparently is a lunch only dish and they were out, so that is disappointing. All in all, we will be back for more and to try the vermicelli bowls or Bahn mi.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place until now. It really has become our go-to phở place. The phở is always solid– super clean tasting and reasonably priced. A large phở is under $ 10! I’ve also ventured into ordering their vermicelli, which is so good. They cook the pork and shrimp to perfection. There’s usually plenty of street parking, and all the servers have been friendly. The place is clean– two thumbs up in my book!!!

Ooooookaaaayyy. I don’t post. It’s not my thing. However, I was a bit apprehensive given the lower reviews. I’m visiting from Sacramento, CA and we have a BUTTLOAD of Viet Cuisine. I decided to give it a shot. I walked a mile. about half way there it started POURING! Then I found a little community garden and checked it out getting more soaked. I trudged on now wanting some phở. Let me tell you, it was PHOking worth it and spectacular. Great fast service and all the ingredients were fresh. I feel a need to share this as I can’t understand the low reviews. It’s amazing and if you’re in this part of town stop and get a bowl. Stock is light and well balanced not overly salty at all. I’m happy I walked in the rain for this. It was well worth it and I’ll walk back in the rain satiated and satisfied. Don’t listen to the nay Sayers. You go! You eat! You love! Deuces!

Unfortunately, our last experience at Phở Aroma warrants dropping my rating from 5 stars to 3(and that’s generous – I think a 2.5 star rating would be more accurate). I was staying with my parents in Seattle when I got sick. My mom decided to call in an order of phở from Phở Aroma in the hopes it’d make me feel better. She tried calling their main line, but it kept going to voicemail even though it was a good two hours before closing. My dad decided to drive down to order in the restaurant and just wait for it to be ready. When he got there, he was informed the restaurant was out of a good chunk of ingredients for phở, including bean sprouts and brisket. Initially they said they didn’t think they could make the phở, but eventually decided they found enough ingredients to make it. Again, this was about an hour and a half before closing, so it’s strange they could be running so low on ingredients to begin with. After a substantial 45 minute wait, everything was finally ready. When he got home with the food, we tried the phở and it was average, at best. The broth seemed a lot saltier than the last time we had their phở. It almost tasted as if salty boxed/canned broth was exclusively used, with a couple other seasonings added. Of course, it was also disappointing not having the meat I ordered – I ordered the combination with two meats, but only got meatballs. The meatballs were quite tasty, but that’s about all that can be said for this phở. Overall, our experience this time was very disappointing. We might be looking for a new place to satisfy our phở cravings down the road.

With a wife from Vietnam you eat a lot of Vietnamese food, in my case you cook it but there are times you want to experience someone else’s passion. I liked what I felt at Phở Aroma. The phở is legit, though southern style, you can taste the bone in the broth not some concentrated salt cube. The meat is tender added just at the right time as to finish cooking through when the bowl arrives at the table. The other dishes are rich in flavor, I would recommend the bo luc lac when in a rice mood. Very fresh. I have yet to try the bun or banh xeo though they looked good. Only bummer was the banh my is almost $ 5 regardless. There are some items overt priced but over all not bad.

All phở is not created equal… And this is some of the best I’ve had. Writing this, I’m craving it. I’ve been here a handful of times and I always order the same thing because it is *so* good. Some day I will venture to other areas of the menu, but as it stands, the phở is enough to keep me coming back again and again… The staff is super friendly, too!
