The soup noodle bowls here are delicious! The broth, noodle, meat, vegetable ratio is well balanced. And the broth tastes like it was made using stock from boiling bones. Also, the portions are generous. It’s a family run restaurant and has a gentle atmosphere. The menu offers more than just noodle soups too. Their fish and rice dish is excellent as well. The service is wonderful and the servers do their best to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Definitely one of the best casual restaurants around Pike Place!

The food is decent. I ordered the phở and the flavor was authentic and the soup was hot temperature-wise, just as it should be! Sadly, the beef came fully cooked, which is not real Vietnamese style. The service is nearly nonexistent; it is very much a serve yourself. I had to grab a fork for myself because I was not waited on at all after my food came.

Phở Mililani is a quaint, quiet getaway in the hustle of the Pike Place tourist bustle. Oh, and they’re open on Sundays! After a disappointing walk down to our go-to, Pioneer Square phở spot, only to find it closed, we went to Unilocal!I knew of Phở Mililani, but had avoided it due to the crazy crowds outside and honestly, the strong pee smell right outside on the sidewalk turned me off. But yesterday we wanted phở and this place was open, so we walked up to take a chance. We found the restaurant to be rather chill, but busy with a steady stream of customers. Which was a huge difference from the vibe outside the restaurant, especially on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The interior is dive-y, but clean. Very«mom and pop» as other Unilocalers have mentioned. We ordered two large bowls of phở, mine was brisket, his was rare steak. The broth was super light, which was a nice change from the spice-heavy broths I’ve been finding around Seattle. It’s not that I don’t like the spices. I just feel there is a balance with phở. If there is one spice that is too heavy, it takes over the soup and that’s all you taste. The brisket was OK. Most of the slices were way too fatty and gristle-y for my taste. But the slices that weren’t, were really good. They also skimp on the accouterments, which are my favorite part. One small plate was brought out for two large bowls of phở. I’d suggested ordering two plates. Overall I was pleased with my meal. I think the large phở was only maybe a dollar more than what I normally pay down in Pioneer Square. So, I didn’t really notice the price-hike other Unilocalers mentioned. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Nice people but place is not what it’s says in Unilocal standard. soup temperature luke warm, spring rolls were over fryed, tapioca drinks were powdered sugar drinks. 2hrs later I had to run to the W.C.

The chicken Phở was amazing and came with a hefty serving of noodles. We were served our food quickly and the staff was extremely polite. I will be returning to this location for sure.

I was hungry and needed to grab some lunch. It was just before noon. I typically don’t eat lunch that early, but I did have breakfast at 8 am and walked around so much that I had worked up an appetite. The restaurant has limited seating. I got one of the last few tables. It was pretty busy, so I recommend either beating the noon rush or going in an hour later. The servers were friendly, but extremely busy. Mistakes worked out in my favour. First, I typically order the rare beef and beef ball phở. I did the same today, but got beef brisket instead of beef balls. I was so thrilled. The beef brisket was tender, fairly thinly sliced, and flavourful. It is by far the best beef brisket I have had in phở. The beef broth was yummy. Second, I had ordered a coconut bubble tea. It never came until I flagged the server. She apologized and said that it would be made immediately. There was a single female customer who had to sit in a corner table for one next to my table. She asked the server if she could move. She couldn’t, as there was a couple that she needed to seat first. I talked to the woman. I told her that I was going to leave once my coconut bubble tea was ready. I told her to take my table. I didn’t make a mess of my table while eating. I also believe that all because you are dining alone does not mean that you should be uncomfortable and treated like a second-class customer. She was thrilled. I wished her a good day and she reciprocated. I paid for my meal, which came up to $ 15. The coconut bubble tea is dairy-free, which helps someone like me who is borderline lactose-intolerant. I’d come back here for phở. The food is decent.

When I can, I always stop by on my way to work to get the Pork Bahn Mi & their crunchy eggrolls which are BOMB. The Chicken Phở is pretty good too, I ordered the regular sized bowl and it was still pretty big. I’d reccommend finishing your phở there because they will charge you for a take out container.

Just passing through Seattle and have come back here day after day for their regular medium rare Phò. It’s good, it hits the spot and it’ has me coming back. The shop is small and packed. Because these people know what’s up. On occasion they forget to bring chopsticks or a soup, it it’s cheap and fast and it’s good.

Good phở restaurant across the street from Pike Place Market — it was not the best I’ve ever had but definitely one of the better phở places in that area even if I had to eat while someone’s weird kid was staring at me because she’s never seen phở before(they came in for bubble tea — which this place also serves!!)

Perfect little hole in the wall authentic Vietnamese Chinese food in the heart of downtown. The food is cooked the right way just like at home and I don’t feel ripped off by the end of my meal. The family that owns the place is super duper humble and kind to all their customers! If you’re looking for local Asian cuisine right by pike place this is it. Sure the décor is lacking a little but whys that matter when you know you’re getting food. The vermicelli dishes and phở are legit and so is the Thai tea, they brew it themselves, none of that powder nonsense! Will be coming back, it’s now my go to viet food whenever I’m in downtown. Thanks ken!

This phở place was right next to the hostel I was staying at. It’s kind of a small place but there was still ample space when I went on a weekend afternoon. This place caught my eye because 1. phở seemed perfect in the chilly weather and 2. Mililani is a town that I used to go frequently as a kid in Hawai‘i(very random to see it in the mainland). The phở came out quickly. The broth was flavorful and the chicken was tender(not overcooked like some places). I’m a big fan of cilantro, which was served sparingly in their phở, so that was a minor disappointment for me. Service was mediocre… not exceptional but not rude. I would come back again if I am in the area!

Had a very good lunch with my mother inlaw on a cold dreary day. Had the Beef Phở. The phở is pretty mediocre. Very nice and good to have something different from fried food. The soup wasn’t as overwhelmingly meat flavoured as most restaurants, which is good or bad depending on your tastes. Quick and inexpensive. They also offer great bubble tea for cheap as well. The server was very friendly and comes around with free drinking water. No problem here at all. The restaurant is small, with perhaps ten or so tables. Several people came in for carryout so they must have a good reputation. Very easy to find in the corner of Pike and First, opposite of the Public Market sign. Not a fancy place, but great value.

Great little family business. Staff is always pleasant and prompt. Chinese and Vietnamese food means that everyone in our little family is happy! The chicken teriyaki, chicken chow mein, Beef phở and bubble tea are our typical orders. Easy stop right outside of pike place right next to Target. Great price, great food, great atmosphere.

This place is the best phở place around Pike Place Market(it’s not Pikes Place, thank you very much!) They are simple, clean and cheap. They have traditional phở noodle soups and great appetizers,(tofu spring roll, sandwiches and etc) as well bubble tea! The service is friendly and efficient. I just wish they had tendon and tripe to finish the phở experience. I know some people are weirded out about it but if you eat meat then… shut the fuck up(I know you had hot dogs & sausages and which has who knows what in them.

I returned after over a year. Jessica remembered me… she worked a very busy and hot 4th of July day. I had the beef soup. A small was plenty. I think the receipt showed large. I had to ask for a separate bowl in order to fish out extra noodles. The broth was comforting and seasoned perfectly. I am enjoying my to go Banh mi as I write this. I will not wait as long to return.

I’ve been by this place countless times on my way to Pike. On this particular day, my kiddo wanted Vietnamese food. Specifically, he wanted phở. Quickly approaching a parent-child hangry episode, we stopped at the nearest spot. At the lunch hour, it wasn’t very busy. I enjoyed stepping into a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle. About 4 tables were occupied. Service was quick. We were seated, orders were taken, and the server was extremely polite. My kiddo wanted phở. After I saw a price close to $ 10, I explained that I was happy to buy it but would ensure that all of it was eaten. My kiddo has a particular taste for certain broth so it was jointly decided that we should not chance the phở. Instead, we each had a banh mi and an order of tofu spring rolls. The tofu spring rolls were good. The only critique I have is using iceberg lettuce which adds a watery flavor to the overall experience. The peanut sauce had a bit of soy sauce taste to it which made it a bit salty. Okay, I guess that’s two critiques. My bad. The bread was crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside. I prefer BBQ pork in my banh mi which is exactly what I got. It was sliced which I also find nice. My kiddo had grilled chicken. The bill was $ 28 before tip for 2 banh mi, an order of spring rolls, Vietnamese coffee, and a soda. A bit high.
