This pizza is the closest to being real italian(naples) that I’ve had in Seattle so far. No place seems to be able to get the exact right combination of chewy and crispy like in Italy but this is close! I can’t recall the exact size of the pizza but it was cut into 4 slices. Enough for 2 for a snack/light meal. If you are hungry, get one pizza per person. They also offer really good bottled lemon soda. I can’t recall the name but it is italian and not pellegrino. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Sorry, I’m totally disappointed. We walked all the way from south of the baseball stadium to get something else(not always burger) and up to this location. Unilocal said they are open till 7pm, their webpage said 6pm, we were there around 4.30pm and came into an empty café with a cold pizza oven. Turns out, they don’t make pizza in the afternoon? Ahm? Surprise I guess? He said, well we usually stop around 3pm at the latest and our pizza is for the lunch crowd. It would have been nice to read that on the webpage or Unilocal,so I didn’t have to walk halfway through Sodo to find out. I wish I could have tried it, we were super hyped all day to go, the pictures looked amazing.

If my memory is correct, I came here a few years ago with my mom while we were in Seattle and we came across this quaint pizza place. I had the margarita pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I’m a huge fan of wood fired pizza. It’s a wonderful, little spot. Great for lunch.

Tiny wood fired pizza oven place inside the café vita in pioneer square. Limited menu options but fantastic calzones and pies. Not open on the weekends but a great option in a part of town that has few places to choose from.

Excellent pizza — rivals what we’ve enjoyed in Italy, and at a very reasonable price for this quality. Plus Chris, the chef and proprietor, is super friendly and very accommodating of special requests, or just a chat about his technique or the amazing pizza oven. Definitely coming back on future visits to Seattle.

To keep it short and simple: The pizza that comes out of this place is the best I’ve ever had. Also, its a nice place to hangout and have a cup of café vita coffee. I highly recommend the veal meatball sub sandwich. Its stone oven baked into a pocket ridiculously good bread.

«Simplicity at its best.» The search for a fast, simple, and wholesome lunch brings me to Trofeo. The Napoli style pizzeria place is conveniently located in the same building as Café Vitta(added bonus) in Pioneer Square and is within waking/bus distance from most downtown offices. The establishment has a chic loft style set up and offers ample seating/bar areas. The menu was simple yet offers the options of pizza toppings and definitely had the elements of what I was seeking in a mid day sustenance. I ordered the basic margheritta pizza to go. The wait time was almost non-existent and staff was very laid back, helpful, and friendly. The pizza was served fresh out of a wood fired oven and the smell was simply amazing. The crust had the right balance of crispy and chewy. The sauce was proportionate to the amount of cheese and overall a fantastic pizza. I am eager to return to try their calzone and veal meatball sub. Their website also offers team lunches and suggests advanced ordering for 10+ employees. I will definitely bookmark this spot for future corporate catering and as a quick lunch spot.

Wow! From a reliable 4.5 stars before to only 2 stars now. The pizza at Pizzeria Napoletana is not nearly as good as it once was. I’m not certain if it’s due to the new pizza chef or what, but there seems to be a rather noticible difference in the pizza quality compared to before. Nowadays, it seems nothing is correct from the baking time, sauce: cheese ratios, or thickness in order to be a good Neapolitan pizza. On the most recent visit, my pizza went far beyond the expected light charring of a Neapolitan pizza. Another sign the pizza was cooked too long was the plastic-like consistency of the cheese. The quality went downhill fast and it seems to correlate with new chefs. Two recent visits = two pretty big failures… too bad.

The pizzeria is located inside Café Vita which is at the edge of Pioneer Square(close to the King Street train station). We got the lunch special which was a pizza with a free drink. One pizza isn’t enough to share and be full, but two was a bit much. I was able to take some to go. The dough was pretty good — crispy crust but soft center. The margherita($ 13) was pretty tasty but the toppings slide off pretty easily. We also ordered the funghi($ 13) but there weren’t many mushrooms so it was basically the margherita again.

Pizzeria Napoletana is located within Caffe Vita in the Pioneer Square area of downtown Seattle. One might not expect a pizza place in the corner of a café to be very good, but Pizzeria Napoletana disproves that. While they only serve wood-fired pizzas from 11 am to 5 pm, it is definitely worth trying one if you can make it during those hours. More specifically, they have a nice special for a pizza and a drink for $ 12 between the hours of 11 – 12 and 4 – 5 Monday thru Friday. Pizzeria Napoletana features a hand-built volcanic brick oven, constructed by third-generation Neapolitan masons. This oven cranks out each tasty pizza in just about 90 seconds. The crust is fairly soft and somewhat flimsy towards the inside, and the edges have some charring. I ordered a margherita pizza, and their variety of that has tomato sauce instead of actual tomatoes. That worked out well because the tasty red sauce was probably my favorite part of the pizza. There is some seating within Caffe Vita, and pizzas from Pizza Napoletana can also be ordered to go. If you want to dine within the café, then they also have some beer and wine available, in addition to the coffee and baked goods you would expect of a café. The inside had a bit of hipster-vibe to me, but, being from Indiana, a lot of places in the Pacific Northwest give me that vibe. Whether you eat in or not, trying Pizza Napoletana is worth it if you are in the Pioneer Square part of downtown Seattle. If you arrive via ferry, then Pizza Napoletana is just a short drive away, but you will need to find public parking.

Best pizza I’ve found in Seattle. The crust is perfect — a little charred, a little crunchy, a little chewy. The only reason I knock off a point is because it’s located within a coffee shop, so that means the smell of coffee(not among my favourite smells) overpowers the aroma of pizza. I advise getting it to go.

Very good Napoletana pizza. Crust has the right chewiness and flavor. Got the smaller size Margherita and could have went for the larger size. The sauce was a little salty for my taste but I am picky. The pizza crust is better than the pizza I had at Sorbillo in Naples but the sauce is not quite as good.

Excellent Pizza. I’d put it in my top 3 in Seattle. I had the Salami pizza. For $ 12 plus tax the happy hour special got me a 12″ pizza(perfect lunch for a moderately big eater like me) and a bottle of Blood Orange flavored Dry Soda. I think he told the people ahead of me that you could get a beer for that same price, but I’m not sure. The pizza was really great. The crust was soft inside and slightly crunchy outside, the way only a really hot(wood fired) oven and a quick baking time can do. The sauce was very good, fresh and tomato-y with not too many spices. Simple and good, and plenty of it. The Salami was also quite tasty, and they sprinkled a few basil(I think) leaves around for good measure. And then there’s the cheese. I’m usually a «more is better» kind of guy when it comes to cheese. But this pizza had just the right amount. More would not have been better in this case. The light amount of cheese and heavy amount of sauce made this a different experience than I’m used to. And I think I like it. I’ve found my new go-to lunch pizza joint.

This was my 1st time eating here. As one of the other reviewers said it is located in the same area as the café. That is a point I failed to «closely» pay attention to…(More on that later) The price for the pizza was reasonable especially for it being downtown. I ordered the small(personal) cheese pizza and a bottle Coke. The crust was a little soggy. Overall, I’m sure the pizza would have been much better had I paid more attention earlier. I like to add peppers and cheese on my pizza… Well the mistake I made today was that I quickly grabbed & sprinkled the two bottles of what I thought was peppers & Parmesan cheese on top of my nice, freshly made pizza only to find out I put SUGAR on it instead. One of the flaws with having a pizza & coffee joint together with hunger & a lunch time crunch. Totally my mistake but I ate it anyway! Hopefully it will be better next time.

If you’re going for the first time, it’s inside Caffe Vita and you order in the same line as coffee. Makes for a good lunch spot. I’m from NJ and this is a totally different kind of pizza. The overall style is a real high point — great flavor from all the ingredients, crust included. Actually maybe the crust is my favorite part. Most of the pizzas have arugula, which I’ve come to love. Probably my favorite is the prosciutto one.

Very good thin crust pizza; chewy dough, not like a cracker, great funghi, very pleasant canned(from Italy) sauce, fresh herbs, all the good basic stuff done right! The wood fire gives the pie a great flavor and is cozy on a rainy day. This place is also a good coffee shop with an exotic Japanese cold drip contraption in addition to the standard lattes and great foam art. I can’t wait to go back!

We loved this pizza. Being from NYC it was authentic coal fired pizza and some of the best we have had in the Pacific Northwest. The menu has few offerings — but that is ok because what they do they do well. Location is worth the effort to find.

Looking for a good place to stop by one the way to the Mariner’s game? Or looking for a bite after a tour in Pioneer Square? Come here for happy hour between 2−5pm for a $ 5 pizza(9″ Marinara, Margherita, or Salame(pepperoni) and $ 2 draft PBR. I personally think their pizza is better than Serious Pie… not the super fancy ingredients, but a very thin nice brick-oven crust. Hot out of the oven, I don’t think any other place in Seattle has anything on these guys. I’m glad this place has come to the neighborhood.

Tasty lunch fare, salad & sauce super fresh. The mosaic name on brick woodburning oven — adorable. It turns out the oven was brought here from Italy, fashioned from the volcanic clay of Vesuvius. Neato! Served with a smile, Valenti, the manager, trained for 8 years in Rome & Napoli. He explained the oven for Napoli style stays between 900‑1200 degrees to maintain a moist bubbled crust.
This is inside Caffe vita, same owners as Via Tribunali on Caphill. They close by 5 in winter, so come early! Perfect stop on a busline to grab a pie for home. You may get mugged for it though. So refreshing to speak to those who know their craft, especially with saucy cheesy bliss.
