If you live in or around Seattle and are interested in bonsai, this club is a must join. They offer hands-on workshops for beginners and serve as a focal point for bonsai resources. They invite renown speakers to talk about techniques and the club is a good way to get to know other bonsai enthusiasts. Some people in the club have been doing bonsai for many years and all are kind enough to offer advice on any bonsai problem or subject. I highly recommend PSBA for aspiring bonsai enthusiasts!

The Puget Sound Bonsai Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of its members and the general public in the art and culture of bonsai. There are six meetings a year that take place in the main auditorium of the Center for Urban Horticulture on the campus of UW. They mainly consist of a demonstration by a veteran bonsai grower that cover various topics such as, styling, re-potting etc… The PSBA is a great way to meet and learn from other bonsai enthusiasts
