Always friendly, always helpful. Was going to Rooster’s for awhile in Orange County, CA before moving here & was nice to see a familiar barbershop. Excellent staff, very friendly & knows what they’re doing. Michael & Mauricio are the best!

Needed a quick neck shave this morning. They got me in and out no problem! «No charge, have a great day» definitely coming back when I visit Seattle again :)

So warm and friendly. My son couldn’t have had a better first– barber experience. Front desk person was warm, chatting with my son and offering hot chocolate. Kanako gave him a fantastic cut. Will be back.

WOW! I just got back from getting a Beard trim and haircut at roosters and felt compelled to immediately write a review of my experience. I have lived near Greenlake for 2 years and have tried EVERY single barber shop you can think of in the area within 15– 20 mins drive including Ballard and the north end. Kanako was my hair stylist and she was nothing less than amazing! from the minute I walked in the door i felt so comfortable and amazed. beautiful but simple feel to the shop. They treat you like a king and truly listen to what you want with absolute attention to detail and zero rush. A lot of the other reviews mention everything you get included with a cut so I wont go into all of that but I wanted to say that if you are a beard guy and are always nervous about having it shaped or trimmed, like me, no need to fear guys they will not over cut it and understand how important a beard is to you and the time you put into growing it out. A+ service. best haircut/​beard trim ive ever had.
P. S. if you are a Rudy’s regular, you will thank me if you try this place because it is the same price (around 35 $) but literally 10x better. Go here once and you will be a regular. You get a complimentary beer/​beverage to top it all off… What the hell are you waiting for?!

What do you give to the man who has everything? An experience like being pampered with a really nice shave. My wife bought me the deluxe shave for a birthday gift, and I was so delighted by the experience. It was the best shave of my life. My skin felt so smooth, just like when I was a teenage boy. I’ll definitely do this again. I highly recommend it.

Asked for my preference, used the electric clippers on the sides and scissors on top and cleaned up the in-​between with the clippers. I have a pretty decent «cow lick» in the back so that’s always a difficult job — a task done much better at the $ 40 places.
After cut was done, put a towel on my face and washed my hair, after she used what appeared to be a BIC shaving razor to trim up my neck and side burns.
When paying I tried to use my Unilocal offer, but no-​one knew how to redeem it so paid the $ 28 there and will have to talk to the store manager on Wednesday to clear it up.

Went in early and had my hair cut by the manager Michael. I appreciate that the design of the place puts an emphasis on «classy» instead of «not even trying (but actually trying too hard) hip.» It’s a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The cut by Michael was great (waited a couple weeks to write this review as sometimes the cut looks good immediately, but grows in poorly), quick, friendly, and professional. It’s a decent price for a standard cut (what I got), but it looks like you can add on some hot shave, etc options if you want to fancy it up. Great easygoing spot to feel like a classy man.

Outstanding location and outstanding service! I’ve been going to Nikol for at least a year now and she continues to impress me with her precision technique for hair. The entire operations is top notch and the salon is absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again and spread the word to all my male friends!

Green Lake was definitely lacking in spots for a guy to go for a quality haircut but no longer. Located in the Green Lake Village (by the PCC) Rooster’s is a classy looking barber shop specializing in making a dude’s hair look radtastic. They offer a number of different services and tailor their cuts to the individual. One thing I love about Rooster’s is the straight razor neck trim. It’s so much cleaner looking and feeling than using a trimmer.
I came in, was greeted by Nichole and away we went. She explained the menu to me and how things would go. Once you’re seated at your stylists station you don’t have to move anywhere else! Each station has a sink right there. Swaaaanky. She put a hot towel over my face and dropped a little scented oil on it to make it smell great and make things more relaxing. I really liked this added touch to the hot towel bit some other shops do. Our convo flowed easily, I got a scalp massage and before I knew it she was finished and I had a great looking cut to my flowing mane.
They validate 30 minute parking and do free neck trims between cuts. Rooster’s and Nichole are located right on the corner of Woodlawn and awesome. Parking is easy and this shop looks and feels like the sort of shop I should be coming to… classy but not stuffy.
