Quick and efficient. Rx costs count towards gas rewards at Exxon. Most Rx take 30 to process, and you can call ahead, too, to speed things up. No drive-thru.

I am sure the pharmacists are wonderful. And I’m sure all but one of the techs are wonderful as well. However, I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with the same terrible tech twice, which turned out to be one time too many. When transferring my rX, I needed to slowly, letter by letter spell my name multiple times, to no avail. Date of birth was given multiple times, she still couldn’t find me, even though I was transferring from another Safeway and I clearly exist. But the kicker was when I tried to pick up my refill with a change of insurance. Its illegal to charge co-pays for generic birth control(Thanks, Obama!), but she still tried, claiming my new insurance must have different discount agreements. Umm, not for the law, but thanks for trying.

My neighborhood Safeway. I like this Safeway because it’s always clean and never smells of anything rotting which some of the other Safeway’s I’ve been too tend to smell like. This is where I do all my non-perishable food shopping at for those items it’s great they always have what I’m looking for and sometimes things I didn’t know I was looking for, damn pints of Dove Mint Chocolate chip ice cream! Their produces is ‘meh’ it’s not that great unless you love apples for some reason they always seem to be over flowing with apples. If you are just looking for onions, baby carrots, and bagged salad it’s not too bad but anything crazy like bok choy or snow peas go across the street. The staff is always friendly and courteous and willing to help you find what ever you may be looking for, which is nice because when I first moved up here I was looking for the booze, I soon learned WA is not like CA you can’t buy you booze in the grocery store just state run liquor stores.
