Salee Thai has some of the most authentic food I’ve had since I was actually in Thailand. The Yellow Curry, Green Curry, Phad Kee Mao and Tom Yum soup are my personal favorites. For appetizers; I strongly recommend either the crab wontons or curry puffs… or both! The service is always friendly and efficient and you can’t beat their free delivery for those nights when you want to eat in.

We were visiting Seattle and looking for delicious Thai food for lunch because back home in Louisville it is nearly impossible to find. My spouse open Unilocal and Thai place came up. We decided to try it and our verdict is: great! We ordered the Pad Kee Mow with prawns heat level 3 and the Panang Curry with tofu heat level 3. The curry was good with a good balance between the curry and the coconut base. The heat level could have been higher as the recommended 3 from the waiter was a bit mild. The noodles where delicious. Vegetables had their integrity. The prawns were properly cooked. The spice perceptible from the first bite. I will order heat level 4 the next time but cannot complain about the flavors.

I walked up from Montlake to try Salee for the first time, and it was definitely worth the walk! I ordered a panang curry chicken, four stars. The flavors and heat were just right, the chicken was cooked perfectly. I really liked the flavor of their panang relative to some of the other Thai restaurants in town. If you’re a curry fan, definitely give theirs a try. I came on a Monday night, and there were plenty of seats inside, and the takeaway orders seemed to be flying out the door. If you’re in the CapHill /Eastlake /Portage Bay /Montlake neighborhoods, do yourself a favor and try this place the next time you want some excellent Thai food.

We were in the neighborhood and needed some Thai food before heading home to a Thai-deprived state. This place has parking and is really cute, with a series of small rooms painted in bright colors. The staff is friendly. We had jasmine tea, pad kee maw with prawns(three stars), Panang curry with tofu(three stars), and finished off with a Thai iced tea. We could have ordered especially the curry a little spicier. It was all so delicious though. Fresh ingredients, nicely cooked and not overcooked. That Thai iced tea… Almost cried with the joy and the deliciousness of it. The worst part about leaving the Pacific Northwest is the lack of decent Thai food.

This place is awesome! We ate in the restaurant and the service was excellent. Fresh rolls were exactly that a burst of freshness with warm delicious peanut sauce. Tom Yum soup popped with lemongrass flavor we ordered a 2 on the spicy scale and it was plenty hot. Thai garlic chicken was perfect. Tons of garlic flavor without any bitterness. Fried rice was fresh tasting, they didn’t skimp on the greens. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

My wife and I are fans of Thai and have tried all the local Capitol Hill/Eastlake options. We decided to try Salee last night and I’m glad we did. The Pad See Ew and Red Curry were beyond our hopes. Ingredients are clearly fresh, skillfully prepared and seasoned wonderfully. We have our new Thai spot on Cap Hill(convenient to N Cap Hill, Montlake, Eastlake) and can’t wait for our next visit! Kitty corner from Pagliacci on 10th& Miller and they have parking!

Pad see eew –great! Garlic chicken –boyfriend loved it! Love that they offer brown rice(additional charge). We were visiting UW and I bookmarked this during our Seattle trip. Even though it had a low number of reviews, the quality of individual reviews were good enough for us to stop by. My boyfriend and I have traveled all throughout Asia, we’ve been to Thailand and My close friend is Thai and I can say the food is very flavorful. I love that the Pad See Eew had the Chinese broccoli instead of American broccoli(florets). Extra point of correct veggies. You can also customize the spice level between 1 – 5. My SO got level 3 and he said it had a nice kick. I got level 1 which gave it a minty taste. Should have done a 2. The portions are big and definitely filled us up with a little left over. We both cleaned our plates clean though. Didn’t get to try their Thai Tea or mango sticky rice by it was late and we wanted to be on our way after walking 6 miles around town. Highly recommend!

Really nice to have this place near my house… the food is quickly repaired and is quite good. The restaurant is kind of hidden off of 10th, or I am sure it would be very popular. Can hold its own against any of the Thai places up on Capitol Hill.

This place is incredible! Very fast service, delicious food, and wonderfully kind staff. Our waitress, Pookie, checked in on us several times and was very nice. The free parking lot right next to the restaurant is very convenient. Would definitely recommend to all!

I ordered take out from here tonight. I am pretty impressed and will definitely be back. The food was ready at the quoted time(25mins) and was warm. The order was complete. The best part is that this little restaurant has its own parking lot. That is so hard to come by in the Seattle proper and deserves an extra star for it being free. Anyway, the employee who greeted me was very nice and friendly. The food tasted good. The pineapple rice I had which I ordered as a two star was really really spicy. I am wondering if they confused this order with another one cause my chicken pad thai which I also ordered as a two star was not that spicy. Great place and highly recommended.

Always a pleasure coming here. I really like the yellow curry with an extra order of rice. I eat a lot so its just about enough for one person. The Thom Ka soup is also a great option for vegetarian/vegan people.

Ordered take out from here the other night. The food was DELISH. And on top of it the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. This is definitely the go to spot for my Thai food now. We ordered tom kha soup, green curry, and cashew chicken. All were great and can’t wait to try more.

Ordered delivery from Eat24. Took 1.5 hours and food was cold when it was arrived. Very small portion for Thai food. We were unhappy. Eat24’s customer service is bad too. Attitude was bad. No more Eat24.

We have had take out here a few times and love it. Yesterday we had chicken pad thai, fried rice, and chicken satay. For take out, they are very organized and efficient. The food was excellent, I particularly liked the fried rice, but the satay and peanut sauce was good also. They are new restaurant, but we will be going back often and I hope they are successful.

Best Thai I’ve had in Seattle to date. Really exceptional food. If you like spice, the«spicy» level is perfect. The Ga Prao Kai Dao is amazing– compares to some of the food I’ve had in Thailand. The curries and the pad thai are also excellent! Highly recommended!

Tonight will be the second time we have ordered food here. The service is great, the food is tasty. Night and day compared to the last place in this space. We are excited that we can commence Thai Friday’s again without having to drive. The Pad Se Ew is awesome and I love the use of greens. So Good!

I am so glad that a great Thai restaurant opened in our hood! The previous Thai restaurant that was there was never opened. This is a new restaurant with new owners. I just tried their chicken pad and it was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. The dish was cooked perfectly. It was not too sweet or greasy, which is a common downfall of may pad thais out there. I love this dish and will be coming back for more. The owner, Suk, is so sweet and attentive.
