Got highlights done today for my Birthday and once again delighted with Rick’s work… Can’t stop looking in the mirror :)… Thank you Rick…

Rick rescued my hair after I attempted to trim (read: butcher) my own bangs. He fit me in last minute before I hopped an international flight. He took his time and did a wonderful job. After all that, he didn’t even charge me, even though I was a first time customer. Rick, you have a new customer when I’m back in Seattle!

I love the people here. Great service ALWAYS. Even when my usually hair stylist was sick they called and arranged for another lady to step in. It’s always nice to come visit the saloon

I love this salon! From the moment you arrive you are pampered. Casey is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to. It is obvious that she loves her work. My hair always looks amazing when she is finished. I always love my cut and my color and the way she styles my hair. I love being spoiled with the swanky capes, yummy tea, and delightful relaxing shampoo. I get to enjoy the recent issues of top notch magazines while Casey works her magic. The atmosphere of the salon is really cool. Great salon and Casey is a amazing stylist!

I have gone to Rick for about 27 years and he has consistently done a nice job. Rick runs a good business with professional styling and services in a convenient location with street parking in the Belltown area of Seattle.

I was suffering from clown hair that my previous salon gave me (started out bright maroon and they «fixed» it by turning it neon pink. I called Ayano which is close to my work and asked if I could pop it for a consultation. Long story short Teresa saved the day and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to correct the color. It’s shiny and soft and looks fantastic. Thank you so much Teresa!

Yesterday was my first time at this salon. I was desperate for a haircut (it had gotten to an emergency level) and a friend had referred me to her stylist Casey. I called for an appointment and was accommodated on the same day! Then, the terrible client I am, I was over 30 minutes late for my appointment due to terrible traffic, and she still saw me and didn’t make me feel like she was rushing or annoyed. She took her time, told me exactly what she was doing, explained her technique with the products and styling tools. Plus she is so sweet and very easy to talk to. The whole experience was great. I love my new bangs and my new stylist! :)

Teresa has been doing my hair for over 10 years and Tahara for about 6 now. They are such amazing stylists, and I always leave happy.
I think I have gone through every color, cut, and style imaginable with these people and they have been great through it all, they are very knowledgeable and will tell you the truth when it comes to your hair.
They sell Kevin Murphy and Glidewell hair products which I can’t live without. The dry shampoo by Kevin Murphy is a must for those greasy hair days and the Glidewell Magic spray is my favorite hairspray in the world.
I just learned this today, Free bang trim here! (obviously to avoid the awful crooked bangs we get when we do this ourselves) You must come here and try it out, they have delicious coffee and teas and great magazines to read. Their location is idea and street parking is always available. I can’t say enough… LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Tahara is an amazing colorist and stylist! Not does she get my color exactly right but the cut alays looks great and grows out really well. I’ve been seeing her for 8 years, and have never had anything less than a exactly what I wanted in a cut & color when I visit Tahara. Salon Ayano is beautiful — lots of natural light, comfortable seating area & stylist chairs. I highly recommend Tahara & Salon Ayano.

Casey Is not only a knowledgeable and amazing hair stylist, she helps educate the client with the latest fashion tips and how to manage your hair specifically. Her energy and great personality makes the time fly while you are transformed into the look that fits you! I would highly recommend casey to be your stylist weather its a cut, color, straightening, glaze, etc. She also creates beautiful fun and elegant up do’s for weddings or just a night on the town!

Rick’s been my stylist for years. One vist and I was hooked. He knows hair, he knows style, and he takes his time to make sure every appointment leaves happy.
He’s a genius and seems to know exactly what you want and need.
When you first arrive, you’ll sit in the chair and talk. As you and Rick are talking about what you’d like to see in a style, he’s quietly examining your hair, the cut you have, lifting it this way and that and making plans. Then he says, «Ok, I’ve got it» and in about an hour, you have the best cut of your life.
It’s worth the trip to Seattle if you’re not from the City. His salon is easy to find, tastefully decorated, and there’s ample parking (metered) close by.
By the way, if you’re a first-​time visitor, don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re going to get a quick cut and run. Do yourself a favor and pay for an hour+ on the parking meter. Your hair style is worth the time and effort. If you’re getting a cut and color, plan on two hours which will fly by.
Oh, another plus is the grow out. My hair looks great for the two-​three months between cuts. There’s something about Rick’s cuts that last a long time, and I have fairly short hair.
Oh, and he’s a genius with hair coloring too.
As far as appointments, it’s easy to make an appointment online. Rick has never been late for any of my appointments.
I hope Rick stays in business for many many more years because I can’t imagine anyone else working on my hair besides him.

Been going to owner Rick for over 10 years. He is awesome in every respect. My color gets constant compliments because it looks so natural. He really gets town know his clients and deeply cares about client satisfaction. I love his new salon on Western. Easily accessible with good parking. Its light and energetic yet a calming and peaceful experience. Go see Rick!

Casey has been my stylist for years! Whenever I feel I need a change she is full of new ideas to update my look. I 100% trust her opinion and talent! The salon has a great atmosphere as well as plenty of street parking.
