Schmetzer’s Sporthaus

The staff here are so friendly and helpful. We needed a different type of shin guard for a six year old and they spent quite a bit of time with us to talk through the right gear and size for us and get us all set up. Everything worked out great.

I decided to go back and form my soccer team again after a few years — ok, many years ;-) –and participate in the league again. I decided to get jerseys for the entire team (20 players) and usually I do these things on line, but luckily I found this local store. I wanted to try it out and support a small local business.
The store is 100% dedicated to soccer both individual players and teams. I talked with the manager, Matt, and he went through the catalog with me showing me all the brands and styles. He even had sample jerseys so you can get a good feel for what you’re buying ahead of time.
Matt was very nice with me even though I had a lot of demands for the color, the style, the names, numbers and logo. I thought he would be annoyed but he was very patient. He gave me a really good deal with great quality jerseys and on time delivery with pretty short notice. I am pretty good at negotiating but I didn’t have to press him too hard. He was open to working with me from the start. I also didn’t have to do all of the final details in person. I communicated a lot of the details on names and numbers over email. He was very professional and timely in his responses. Even the sales associates like Jordan and the other guys working there were very good at customer service. Every time I called they even remembered my name. I’ve already recommended them to a few friends.
The store is very well organized and has everything you can imagine including for goal keepers and referees and all equipment and shoes. The only difficulty is parking since they’re right on 99.

The staff is always fun and friendly. My only wish is that they carried more little kids sizes — sometimes we have a hard time finding what we need. Great place though.

Any issues we had were sorted out this year, and were probably due to the craziness of sorting out custom orders for a large club. This is a great group of people and ordering was a piece of cake.

We came looking for a specific brand/​make of indoor shoe and were handed the box within 3 minutes of walking in the door. Easy parking between Sporthaus and the Dollar Tree. Located on the northbound side of aurora.
This rating is 80% based on the level of service we experienced, 15% on the awesome goal with astro turf for trying out the shoes, and 5% because of the huge Sounders fans mural. Wait, does that add up? Too many headers over the years.
