Shain Eire at Skyn Salon

I used to go to Shain in NYC and he’s a dream! Super nice and super talented. HE REALLY LISTENS, which I can’t say for all the stylists I’ve been to. I have a short pixie cut & he was the only one who could make it consistently cute & feminine, plus it always grew out nice. Seattle, you’re lucky! I miss my Shain cuts!

Getting my hair done is an «experience». It consists of the booking process, the salon accommodations, the stylist interaction, and the haircut that lasts for weeks. I just had an amazing, new experience with Shain at Skyn Salon.
I was able to book online and get the appointment I wanted on a busy Saturday afternoon. I marked it on my calendar, but appreciated the automatic email reminder that I got the day before my appointment.
I arrived at the Sodo salon for the first time and was impressed with the hip, yet inviting layout. There were a ton of windows with lots of natural light coming in to make it very appealing. Shain promptly greeted me at the door and was ready for my appointment.
Shain was (is) amazing. I was really impressed on how he listened to what I wanted and was able to translate my vision into a cut I loved. I enjoyed the conversation and the relaxing nature of my visit.
Of course, the true test of a good haircut is if I can style it as good as the professional. Shain gave me a cut and style that even I can do!
So, my «experience» with Shain was good before I got there, great when I was in the chair and still going strong with a cut I love. I’m looking forward to many, return experiences with Shain!

Shain started cutting my hair in 2007 after I moved to Seattle. Little did I know at the time, how lucky it was for me to get him as a walk-​in! I always got a great cut, but didn’t fully appreciate how great, until he moved to NYC. I’m so glad he’s back in Seattle! If your looking for someone to make your hair fabulous — Shain is your stylist!

I cannot tell you how pleased I am to have found Shain! I have been searching for a stylist in Seattle for years, and finally found one that I trust and appreciate the high quality of their work! I found Shain through reviews, and walked by Skyn Salon every day, so I figured it was worth a try.
I was so impressed from the first moment we started working together. Shain was great at listening to what I wanted and working carefully to make sure that I was happy. I went in wanting some shaping and layers in my long, fine straight hair… and bangs (a pretty big thing to trust to your stylist on your first visit!) and Shain put me totally at ease. He took his time to really make things right, and was good at checking in with me to see how I liked it.
I am thrilled with my haircut, and it has been a long time since I could confidently say that. Shain, welcome back to Seattle! You have one more customer that will be back for many years to come!

You never appreciate what you have until its gone. I am super excited that Shain is back. He started doing my hair 5 years ago and I’ve never been disappointed with his cuts. They are always great and look amazing with very minimal maintenance which is a plus for me. He is truly a master at his craft.
I would highly recommend Shain to anyone looking for a fantastic and fabulous stylist! You will not be disappointed. Not to mention there will always be good conversations and a few laughs. Shain is the best! :)
