I never thought I’d have split pea soup but I had it today at Soup Daddy’s and it was delish! I was glad to find out they don’t add extra butter and oils to their soups too. Healthy and tasty… my cup of tea. I also got the ceasar salad with grilled salmon. It was a huge portion and delicious!

I’ve been here 4 or 5 times now. This is my new favorite spot for lunch. I’ve only tried one soup(the gumbo of course) so far. It was so good I just haven’t tried anything else. As far as entrees: hot turkey & swiss sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and fried cod & chips. Every single one of them were great. Everything is prepared fresh daily. Everything is made in front of you. This one of the very few restaurants that pass my PQQ(PRICE, QUALITY, QUANTITY) test. Everything I’ve had has been under $ 9, always fresh and I’ve only finished all my food half the time.

Soup Daddy Soups has moved from SLU to Sodo. They have the same menu as before and still cater. They are across the street from the fire station. The chicken parmesan soup is great! Free parking on the street and in a small lot nearby. Their website doesn’t list the right address — make sure you use the address here on Unilocal
