ST Nails and Spa

Good place for a quick and clean pedicure. Also got an acrylic nail fixed here and they did an okay job. Acrylic was slightly bulky, so I filed it down when i got home.

I’ve been to this salon twice now and it has definitely become my first choice location. They always fit me in if not right away, then no more than a 10 minute wait. Very friendly and ask for your input along the way to make sure you like what they’re doing.
Plenty of different lotions and scrubs, and hot towel and massage treatment to boot.
Clean and relaxing environment. Make sure you bring cash for your tip, they prefer it. Yay!

Walked in on a Sunday around 3 pm and the two of us got right in for pedicures. My girl recognized my «mountain» feet and brought out the hand held cheese grater to take care of my callouses AND didn’t charge extra. 45 minutes later we walked out completely satisfied. We paid cash but they do take cards. Best part 25 days later and the polish hasn’t chipped and still looking good.

This place is a very basic mani/​pedi/​waxing place. They don’t use gloves when waxing, appeared to be double dipping, and they charge full price even if you’re just getting a touch-​up (not standard practice, in my experience). The mani/​pedi was fine, but nothing to write home about; the brief hand/​foot massage was nice, though again, pretty customary. Also, staff’s English abilities range from non-​existent to very basic English comprehension, so I wouldn’t advise going here if you want anything complicated done, b/​c you likely won’t be understood.

This is my favorite nail spas in Seattle! It’s clean, which is one of my biggest review factors for a spa. If you didn’t make an appointment, they’re great about walk ins. I’ve never made an appointment but was able to get a nail service right away. They’re awesome.

I had called at 11am to make an appointment for 1pm, then I called back at 1145am to add my gf pedicure with my shellac manicure for 1pm, and they said totally fine. We get there at 1pm and both sat down at 1:05pm to get started! LOVE this because other nail places have you waiting 20+ minutes even when you have an appointment. Mind you, this was today (busy Saturday)!
My shellac manicure was literally done in 30min! LOVE IT! Thao (owner sister) was very professional, efficient, and kind.

I have been meaning to review this nail salon. I came here to have my mani & pedi done the young lady doing my nails seemed more interested talking to her co-​workers rather than paying attention to her work! She was talking and filing my nails she was rough and burned and cut my skin right between my nail… It was very painful I had her stop the work altogether. They did not even bother to apologize nor give me a discount on my pedi… No matter I will not return to this place nor do I recommend it to anyone. I’m always leery when they talk on their language I know they are talking about the customers.

The BEST place to go period. I have gotten shellac, pedis, manis, and acrylics here and they are always amazing! About a month ago I went to another nail place with my friend that was by her house and got a set of acrylics and they were not good– all different shapes and several not all the way attached to my real nail at the end. I went into ST to get a fill and they totally fixed them and made them look so, so much better! They evened them out and filled in the gaps between the nail and even rebuilt one nail that was really badly done. I will never go anywhere else again!

Absolutely amazing! Very friendly and CLEAN! Love the design they put in my nails. One of the best pedicure u had in a long time.

I’ve been to several other nail salons in Wedgwood and definitely say you won’t be disappointed with your Shellac manicure at ST Nails.
Too bad the Seahawks aren’t playing this weekend because my blue manicure still looks great!
Extra tip: avoid Kawaii Nails – shellac often wears off or fully chips off after just one week. Older nail tech cut 4 of my fingers up chopping at my cuticles, then tried to blame me… saying it wouldn’t happen if I got a manicure more frequently. WTF?? Should it really matter how often I get my nails done?
I wouldn’t recommend Peony Nails either. Only went there once. The nail tech didn’t use a base coat. The next time I went (somewhere else), they couldn’t remove the polish. Soaking in acetone several rounds of it, scraping, and filing ultimately removed about 70% of polish, before the tech gave up and painted over the old polish (per my approval). That old polish remained even after the paint-​over Polish was removed. The Polish is finally gone after about 4 manicures (approx 6 months) due to just my nails growing out.

Love ST Nails! I have come in for several shellac manicures, full sets of acrylics and pedicures and I’m always very pleased with the outcome. They even humor me when I come in with Pinterest pictures of crazy designs that I want to try. I have had the most reliable service from ST nails compared to all other Seattle nail salons I have been to.

These folks are fantastic! Great service at affordable prices and I always leave with beautiful nails!

Got a shellac manicure and she did a nice job with the shaping and paint. The 3 stars is for the price — $ 35 — way too for what you get. My usual place is $ 25 with massage and paraffin.

This place consistently goes above and beyond when it comes to service and quality. The ladies (and gentlemen) are very kind and knowledgeable (and they know that if you apply shellac right up to the cuticle, it will bubble and be ruined). I easily pass dozens of shops on my way to the salon from work but these guys will always get my business. For the record, I’ve been a customer for 2 years and go on average 20−25/year.
Tip — park on 25^th to avoid the parking lot during peak times

I love this place. I go so often I’m the mayor on Foursquare! Great service, very reasonable prices, nice and knowledgeable technicians. I don’t like to make small talk while getting my nails done and they recognize me and leave me alone! My manicures always look great, and they have a loyalty card where with ten stamps, you get one service free.

I’ve been going here for 6 months. Fair price. Willing to fix nails if you’re unhappy. free parking and friendly service.

I’m very disappointed.
–The Past–
I’ve been to ST Nails six times for shellac manicures. The first five visits were over eight months ago. (The only reason I stopped going was because I read an article about skin cancer and shellac manicures.) I thought the shop was remarkable.
–Friday, August 23–
I left work early to get a birthday shellac manicure and standard pedicure.
Unfortunately:
–The Shellac Polish starts 2 – 3 mm after my cuticle (I measured with a ruler).

–By the time I arrived home, I noticed that the polish on my pinky and ring-​finger toes had smudged off.
(I didn’t post pictures, because my toes are unattractive)
–I painted over my pedicure on the same day.
–My Shellac Polish is chipping on 3 nails (very unusual for Shellac).

I left the shop disappointed.
After some thought, I called them back to voice my concern. They asked me to come back to the shop.
Upon arrival (15 minute drive), they told me that shellac manicures start lower on the fingernail, because the polish will peel off if it is too close to the top of the nail. They said, «it must be your first shellac manicure.»
They didn’t acknowledge the problem. They also didn’t fix it.
This was my sixth shellac manicure from ST Nails (also done by the same woman).
Big Bummer! I wish I spent the money on something else.
I’ve had two days to think about it, and it’s still a bummer. I hope you have a better experience than I did. I’m never going back to ST Nails.

Surprised by how nice it is inside. From the outside you can’t tell. Not sure how many times I drove right by it without seeing it.
Came in for a mani/​pedi lured by the 20% off first time visit special listed on Unilocal.Unfortunately it is expired & Unilocal still had it up. Luckily the nice man gave me the 10% off first time visit discount.
Nice massage chairs you come to expect from nail salons. Nice selection of colors displayed well on the wall near the door.
Had a simultaneous mani/​pedi. Not a fan of this. I like to have my finger nails done first then my toes so my fingers have lots of time to dry & I can truly enjoy each service. I guess if you are pressed for time you would appreciate them doing both at the same time but I don’t.
Will go back again.

I found myself desperate for a manicure hours before a party I was going to one evening. I did not have the energy or time to drag everything out to do it at home. I was able to make an appointment at ST Nails the same day which was really convenient. When I arrived the salon was very busy and I enjoyed getting to observe the care the nail techs took in assisting their clientele. I was also very impressed with how clean and bright the salon was.
The lady who did my manicure was very sweet and quick in her work. She made polite conversation, but did not press if I seemed distracted by my own thoughts. My nails looked great afterward. The manicure also stayed in really good shape for over a week which was nice. The prices are reasonable with my manicure costing $ 15. The Salon offers 10% off for new clients, which I found a great way to encourage people to try them out. I am sad I found them so close to moving out of the neighborhood.

I really like the open area of the salon. It’s pretty spacious with a small parking lot.
