This is one of my favorite neighborhood Starbucks — we have about 5 in the .25 radius. The space is new and at the bottom of Amazon’s towers. It has tables and lots of seating for those looking to have a change of scenery as they work. In particular, Scott and Ama are sweethearts and care about the customer. They ran out of the evolution fresh strawberry to make my banana strawberry smoothie. Ama quickly suggested different options and knew the calorie counts! Stop on by and make this your go to Starbucks location.

The drinks aren’t very consistent and the quality of service is lacking. When I went up to order a drink today the cashier actually answered a phone call from his cell phone. Then I had to repeat my order and he managed to get it wrong.(He also spelled my name wrong, but I guess that’s already expected at any Starbucks.)

This place always gives me great coffee when I cannot drink the coffee at work anymore. Thank you! And I love the fish tank in here as well.

I am so thankful to have a Starbucks nearby this morning! I try to visit a STarbucks coffee shop wherever I go and have met many different types of personities — there isn’t one type of friendly, for example(it’s early !). I realize that sometimes the customers coming in can affect the atmosphere and overall mood of a store. anyway this Starbucks was pretty relaxed for before 7am. The barista /cashier ringing me up didn’t make eye contact. Which is ok. Just noticeable. No extended complaint, love Starbucks ! Was ever so happy to be at this location

Slow. Very, very slow. It would help if they worked together as a team, instead of having one girl do all of the drinks. I stood there and watched one employee walk away and the other two stand at the register while the one girl did all of the work. Finally one of the chit chatty ones walked over and started helping her on the drinks. She could have started that long ago, instead of waiting until it got out of control. This Starbucks always has a huge line whenever I go and they’re extremely slow. Nice, but slow. I avoid if I can.

Shockingly, this Starbucks is the closest to my work at two whole blocks away. Disastrous, I know. When I do make the trek out there, I am always greeted with friendly, fast service. There can be a long line in the morning with the police station across the street and the nearby business buildings, but they do a good job of keeping up with the demand. This isn’t a study spot coffee shop. There are few tables and no studious environment you can find at other, stand-alone Starbucks’. Come here for your morning coffee to go and you’re set. Then frequent another Starbucks a few blocks away if you have to get work done.

This Starbucks location is on the street level of a high-rise office building housing Amazon for the most part. The café feels like an extension of the lobby when you walk in. There’s a large fish tank in the little sitting area, a few regular tables and a few bar-height tables as well. Employees are always friendly and courteous. This is a busy place around lunch time, and they keep up well. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that this Starbucks is closed on the weekends.

Like this location for its convenience. I work in the same building and its a great breakfast, snack and sometimes lunch option. They have friendly service, not a lot of seating space and is usually crowded in the peak breakfast hours between 9 – 9.30 or when its mid afternoon around 3PM. The fish tank is cool and the little seating area there is is well done. You will find almost all the popular snacks and treats that Starbucks has. Love the spinach feta wrap and the chicken sandwich and the chewy chocolate cookie

I really liked this Starbucks. It’s not the biggest one I’ve seen but since it’s tucked away at the base of an Amazon tower in a quieter part of downtown, it’s not too crowded. I popped by for a work meeting and it was easy to find a spot to sit and chat for an hour or so over a cup of tea. I think what really sold me on this spot, and the reason I think I’ll come here more often, is that it was really quiet. The store was always busy but not busy enough that there was a long line or a lack of seating. Maybe most people pop in and take coffee back up to their offices, but for me it was the perfect office for an hour. Plenty of parking nearby, including a cheap garage across the street. I’ll definitely be back.

Best addition to the Casey Family Foundation on 8th and Virginia with a great relaxing view of the fish tank.
