I go to this Starbucks relatively frequently because it’s close to where I work. It is, however, one of the worst Starbucks in the city. My cup is pretty consistently sticky. As in, I cannot find a place to grab it without touching a sticky part. If I order a chai tea latte, they make it correctly about half the time(I drink these all the time at various Starbucks so I know what it should taste like). I’m not sure how this happens because it seems like it would be one of the easier drinks to make. Most of the baristas are friendly, so they do score some points there.

This Starbucks is very confusing to me. The staff is very polite, easy to talk to and if your a regular they’ll learn your name and order. Great customer service. However, the average wait for a beverage or any service is much longer then any other Starbucks I frequent. If I see there is a line, it makes more sense for me to walk down to the Starbucks on 2nd and Madison, order and walk back up before half the customers have their beverages or food in Wells Fargo.

3 stars for the consistent decent to good service. Most I’ve seen just do their proper routine standard and a few are pretty cool. This one lady(not sure if she’s still there or just part-time) appeared to have had her hand amputee’d in recent years. Before, and after, she’s always been the cheeriest of the bunch, I thought. Generally, it’s been a variation of the usual latte or chai with shots(dirty chai). Sometimes an old fashioned donut. A bit round up to 4 for the jazzy music and the good ol’ eye candy from them being almost always busy throughout the work day. PS. Neighboring coffee spots can be slower than this place during the same time — share the wealth /support! =)

This Starbucks seems to have about the most consistent staff over several years of most any ‘bucks I frequent. This location is slammed between 8 – 9:30am. Some of the staff are somewhat friendly, but not conversational, I suppose I’m not enough of a regular and there are several people who really don’t seem to give a flying java bean about you, sorta cafeteria lady style service but no mystery meat(I think).

This is a strange location. All the regular Starbucks bells and whistles are in place. The staff is difficult to comprehend. Half the staff provides very poor customer service and the other half provides great customer service. I don’t work in Wells Fargo Tower so I don’t have«regular» status as I frequent 3 other Starbucks in the area. For some of the staff members, that means I don’t get a personable«hello» or the same courtesies that are afforded to those folks. For other staff members, I’m treated extremely well, as I was today. I was given prompt, polite, service with a smile. My needs were completely taken care of and I even purchased some additional products. It’s this level of service that compels me to give a 4 start rating instead of a 3 star rating. The level of service I receive from those staff members outweigh the poor customer service I receive from the others.

Dropped in for a quick cup of coffee before an appointment across the street in the Federal Building. Wow, super crazy busy at 8:40am! The employees were working their booties off and pumping out drinks super fast. Great job! They were on top of their regular customer’s drinks, asking if they’d like such and such this morning again. Super on top of it. I also loved that they put the calories up on the chalk board for their seasonal drinks — sold me on a skinny tall peppermint mocha — something I wouldn’t normally order.

This is about the bacon breakfast sandwich for 3.58. Microwaving a tiny bun makes it tough and rubbery. 1 piece of super thin bacon folded over is an insult to bacon everywhere. As a breakfast sandwich this was an epic fail. Can’t believe I’m saying this. .. Which way to McDonalds?

Every time I am in Seattle, I visit this Starbucks. I like that it has no fourth wall and is open to the building lobby and that two of the other walls are mutli-story windows. It’s so open and welcoming. The staff is mostly very friendly, but I find the wait for a beverage here to be longer than at most other Starbucks I visit. Maybe it’s the perfection needed being so close to the«mothership» that requires the time. Or maybe my ass has gotten impatient living in New York. Regardless, I always come back. This location is pretty quiet until about 8:15, so if you get in to work early, your wait will be short!

when i do visit this particular location, they always seem to get my order wrong. when i ask to correct it, it seems that they just stare at me blankly then finally understand. i dont order a complicated drink either. venti zen with 2 tea bags.(this time i asked for light ice on top) when i put in my order, they repeat it back to me. but when i read my sleeve/cup later, they write down the complete opposite! i got a grande and 1 tea bag?(i understand grande’s get 1 you can request 2) but i didnt order a grande. i ordered a venti. and 2 bags! didnt get any ice! when my order was done, they didnt even call it out like any other drink. i understand this drink comes to the register rather than by the coffee window, but at least announce that the drink is ready! it’s very annoying coming to this particular location when it seems they cant get drink order right the first time. i RARELY stop at this location. but i was running late this morning to a meeting and wanted to grab something close by– big mistake. of course they were busy, but which sbux isnt busy? i dont mind going to another location thats a block further up.

I find this to be the least pleasant of the four or five Starbucks locations within a 1.5 block radius of my office. Partly because there is a major shortage of outlets in which to plug the laptop. And partly because the ambiance is dominated by the fact that the café is in an elevator lobby. Nice staff, though.

Great location(in the lobby of my building) that is just a few steps from where I hop off the bus every morning. Most of the time in the morning it is very crowded, but the staff does a great job in moving the line fast. I usually don’t have to wait long because I get the premade yogurt granola parfait(tasty and no HFCS!!) and a cup of their specialty drip, which now days is Verona. If I am very hungry, I get a top pot cake doughnut and/or a breakfast sandwich instead. A solid go to SBUX when you’re in a hurry in the morning.

Damn that ellusive 5th star. So close, but you keep getting in a different coffee cake and I really hate to be fucked with in such a manner. However, there are a couple gals that remember my face and always try to get my drink before some yuppie prick in front of me who won’t tip. And those cinnamon dulce lattes(with soy) rock!
