Looked for another yummy taco stand. And I found it. Since I have moved temporarily to this area, I want to eat something other than Taco Bell for a taco craving. And oh gosh. Chicken tacos are super yummy here, yay!(: Comes with a little baggy of lime and radish with some pickled carrot and pepper. Quick, lots of chicken, tasty and spicy enough. Why not give this place a try~?

This is one of the best taco trucks around. Seriously. Having visited over a dozen taco trucks in the area, I can confidently say that this place delivers every time. Tacos are not only really cheap($ 1.10!!!), but they’re also pretty delicious and don’t even skimp on the meat. Easily the best lengua tacos in town! I know what you’re thinking, cow tongue tacos? What?!? Try them, they will change your whole perspective on tacos. They also do pretty good birria(stewed goat usually). No mole though and the carnitas are a little dry, but seriously, who makes good carnitas in Seattle?!? They also sell pupusas which are also incredibly difficult to find. Haven’t tried their tacos, but my roommate claims they’re pretty delicious. Another thing I love about this place is that every single plate of tacos comes with grilled onions and jalapenos. Awesome. Just go there. Order some tacos from the super friendly women who work there and enjoy.

I am not ashamed to admit that I love taco stands. Quick, filling, tasty and cheap. Oh and(semi)authentic to boot. What more could you want? Taco Stand certainly meets all my requirements of a taco stand and, if the fact I was the only gringo there on a Tuesday afternoon says anything, the place is certainly authentic. It also didn’t really excite me too much. The food was good, but not super-great. My steak burrito was tasty, with a nice balance of peppers and cilantro, but it didn’t blow me away. Considering this is the most expensive taco truck I’ve found so far in Seattle(which means its still very cheap, just not ridiculously cheap), though, I did expect a bit more. (Good-not-great food)+(popular with actual Mexicans)-(higher than average prices)=three stars. Worth stopping at, not worth going out of your way for.

For the longest time I thought this place was the«Taco Bus» AKA Tacos El Asadero. Pfft… was I wrong! They make a pretty good taco though but I wouldn’t stray too far as I found other items to be so so… and well… it’s the ‘taco stand’ after all! I’ve had their carne asada, al pastor, and the pork and they all come through with some good flavor. So on the positive tip: Good tacos Ok Tortas Conveniently located during the Columbia City Farmer’s Market Recently sporting new coverings(Business must be good) On the flip side: No Pico de Gallo Skimp on the salsa portions Only 1 bench to sit Shares the same parking lot of the indoor swap meet where someone got capped last summer Cash only No liquor Lic = No Cerveza

Ohmygod I was addicted to their chicken tacos for about 4 months last year. Pretty much I had them every day! They are awesome and hot and spicy. They come with a couple of radishes which somehow soothe the heat. I always ate them with a sugary soda like orange or grape. I actually haven’t had anything else but the tacos here but I think they are awesome.
