This was a GREAT Taco Time, until about a year ago. Slowly the staff changed until going here was a chore. The food was still the same, still good, but it took forever to order and then to get the food. Not sure what happened. Sorry they closed, but if the service had kept being so bad, I would have stopped going.

Super bummed to hear they closed. A very convenient stop for us local workers. Pretty lame selection in this area for lunch. Any reason why this location shutdown. Seemed to be very busy and most of the time the staff was top notch. Bummed

This is one of the bad locations. Can’t say I’m too sorry they’re closing. Terrible service, terrible food portions.

Just went here today and had a bad experience. No one was at the counter when I walked in and I waited several mins for someone to finally notice me and only to be told wait a little more. My biggest issue with the place is my order being messed up and the food was overcooked as well. I highly suggest skipping out on the chowder, it was so awful and didn’t have chicken in it like I ordered. Overall, I’d say don’t come to this location unless you like waste your money and time.

Taco time is one of the only fastfood joints ill eat. The tots are yummy and i’m obsessed with the corn chowder! I hope it stays on the menu forever. I usually get their yummy salads!!!#

OMG!!! EXCEPT for the cashier, this place is a total joke! I only have 30 minutes for lunch and waited 25 to get my order, which by the way was incorrect. The woman in the back, filling the orders was upset because someone else placed a burrito in the wrong place and she just couldn’t seem to get over it. When I finally get my order, I check it(as I ALWAYS do) and it was incomplete. Oh, and a regular order of Mexi-Fries consists of 6 tots?. The guy working with her was either on Valium or just plain clueless.

I am a big fan of Taco Time, but this place didn’t measure up. The place was totally dead and my very small order still took forever. The order itself was a little weird in that my friend and I each ordered a soft taco but they were totally different sizes, his was the usual size and mine was all puny. The place was very clean and tidy, however, and the cashier was very pleasant.

I would the regurgitated puke of a dog that just ate it’s own feces than to eat your ‘tostadas’. I would rather shove a broken rectal thermometer in my eye and out the back of my skull than eat anything here. I would rather see the state of Washington wipe Mexicos ass with its face than hear of your«Mexican fries» again. Those are tater tots, probably bigger than the average testicle of a Washington resident. Taco Bell is a culinary glorious hole of unbelievable quality and taste compared to the cock-roach shit piles that passes for food here. Extra star for good staff… God have mercy on them.

I like Taco Time. Decent and fresh fast mexican-like food. But this particular location is a basket case of ineptitude. Consistently slow and overwhelmed at lunchtime. Today they had a meltdown of comic proportions. Not really funny if you have 35 minutes to wait for a taco but only get 30 minutes for lunch. People who had paid for lunch were actually leaving without getting their money back because they no longer had the patience to wait. When the orders finally arrived, they were also wrong. This is one franchise where corporate needs to step in and do a major fix. The franchise is definately bringing up the rear!

Food is as good as any other location. Friendly staff. But the drive through is the slowest of any taco time ever, and it’s been this way for years! I and the guys in my shop would like to come here more often as we’re only a few blocks away, but because of the drive through we most often go somewhere else. If they could speed up their operations, they could serve a lot more customers.

The food here is the same you will find at any Taco Time. Yummy! The parking lot is another story. Their are only a few spots that aren’t compact and they are usually taken. Also, the drive through line gets backed up making the parking lot even more of a cluster. I usually have to park in 2 compact spaces with my truck if I want to eat here. Their parking lot needs a major overhaul. The staff here is nice. Service is a little slow sometimes, and they are almost always out of hot sauce. So go if it is on your way, just be careful in the parking lot!

Don’t bother to go to this Taco Time on a Sunday. I am a regular there and today I received mediocre service at best. The person taking orders was obviously bored, 20 minutes later I was still waiting for my order and people who came in after me were being served within 5 minutes of their arrival. I have scratched this Taco Time off my list of places to stop by on a Sunday.

Gotta disagree with Joe, this TT is one of the better ones. Pretty friendly and fast service and correct portion sizes, unlike the White Center location. Kind of difficult to get in and out of due to busy intersection.

We usually do the Taco Time when we do in White Center, which is normally incredible. We went to this one today and service wise, it’s light years away. We did the drive through, and had a super basic order. Two burrito combos, a quesadilla kids meal, and that’s it. We got shorted on one side of the Mexi-Fries, the kid’s toy in the combo, and the quesadilla was sort of this crumpled up ball of cheese and flour(and unsliced). There was no rush on, either. We were the last car of three in the drive through, around 3pm. Stick to the White Center Taco Time, just up the road. The food is the Taco Time food – quality. But c’mon, it’s a basic order. Also, by all that’s holy, re-pave and level the entire parking lot. That thing is wavier and more broken/uneven than the Pacific during a typhoon.

First time I’ve tried Taco Time since moving west last month and all I can say is, why the hell didn’t I try them sooner?! The food is fresh and the slaw on the fish taco was so good! The staff at this location was so nice. This will most definitely not be my last trip here, especially if I have the kids with me! The kids quesadillas were HUGE and they were actually full after eating(unlike our trip to Chipotle the other night where they were asking for more food when they finished their tiny over priced quesadilla).

The Seattle Taco Times are the best I’ve seen in this country. I’ve traveled all over over the last 18 years and, in most every place else, they microwave their food. Most even nuke the veggies! The northwest Taco Times have the freshest food. I’ve stopped even trying anywhere else.

I agree with one writer — certain dishes are a «no to get again» and warrant a 3 or two star, such as the chicken and the gluten free salad. However, I give 5 stars to the crispy tacos and the amazing Mexican tater tots. And, the customer service makes you feel as if you are at home. Finally, and yet just as important in my books, is that the restaurant is composting almost all their items! I have never seen this in my neighborhood fast food restaurants. I will go out of the way on another occasion to eat at this location because I am so impressed by this composting. Thank you for saving our earth. Oh, one oddity — getting to the bathroom is a bit awkward by having to walk between the counter and the wall, but bathroom was clean.

The ranch sour cream is all they have for sour cream and it tastes SO gross!!! Ruined the meal! Usually one of my favorites at other locations!

Vegan friendly, yummy food. Customizable menu — I simply asked for no cheese, no sour cream. This particular location(not sure of others) has a futuristic soda fountain with a million options. It is quick service but not terribly unhealthy. And the menu board lists the calorie information so you can make an educated decision. Healthy or not, I still went for the mexi-fries(aka tater tots) because they just sounded good. And they were! This was my first visit to Taco Time ever so I can only speak of this location in SoDo, but it was clean, had plenty of seating, many parking spaces, and a nice size menu. The food was brought to our table which was an added bonus.

I love Taco Time and eat at them often. I do have to say that this one in particular I will not goto anymore. Their portions are way below the other Taco Time’s I have frequented. For the price I am paying I feel it isn’t worth it at this one. I’m not sure why just this one has smaller portions but they do. My fish taco had the two pieces of fish and a few strands of cabbage and a drip of sauce each time I tried it. I have not had a decent size portion in 5 times trying this since it is close to my work. I have given up on this one.
