Went into the West Seattle location and found my item out of stock. Asked for assistance, and Kayla helped us in finding the perfect vaccume cleaner. She was accommodating and went above and beyond to get us what we needed. She is an asset to your company and I was honored to have her to assist us. Everyone should take a sheet out of her playbook. Stellar job, Kayla!

I slipped up and went over there today but I will never shop at a place that charges you $ 0.05 for a bag. Fuck you guys you really suck and that $ 0.05 is why I don’t come to your store anymore. If you can’t afford a bag I cannot afford to shop there so suck a bowl of dicks

Parking is awful at this location. The lot is small and always full, and it is shared with a Barnes & Noble. Most of the products that I come in here to buy (like deodorant, toothpaste, cleaning products, paper plates, ziplock bags) are across the store from the entrance, which is in front of the clothes section. Checkout seems to be busy at this location, since there are always lots of shoppers here.
Location wise, I love this Target. It is right between West Seattle and White Center, not far from Burien. The shopping center is surrounded for the most part by neighborhoods, which makes it convenient for shoppers.

I have to say I shop at target more than any other store. I am from Southern California and the service at my local target could definitely improve. I am currently in west Seattle and went to this target and was blown away. One employee helped me find what I needed and on my way to check out I was asked multiple times if i needed help with anything which was really awesome because at my local target I have never been asked if I needed help when I always do! The girl at the register was so nice and bubbly. She acted like she cared and wanted to be there, not just hating her job and waiting for her shift to be over. You guys up here are doing it right! Keep at it west Seattle target!

I’ve always enjoyed this Target, especially because it is close to home and has just about everything one can think of. On average, I would pop in 2 – 4 times a week. The store is clean, it’s usually easy to find what you need, returns/​exchanges are hassle-​free and quick, and there are plenty of great employees eager to help you. Overall, this store has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees of any Target store I’ve been to. My perception of this Target store changed about six weeks ago, and I have not been back.
I took advantage of the new self-​scan checkout, and the machine jammed up after I put in my money. I called for an attendant, who approached me with these words: «Is it ok if you don’t get your change back? The register froze.» I responded that I wanted my change (just a few pennies, but I’d rather have them than give them to a store) and that I also needed a receipt. I got my change but then was told I couldn’t get a receipt since the register froze. But I could leave my name and phone number and someone would call me in the morning after they had «pulled the receipt» from the machine and I could pick it up. I was skeptical, but I assumed that she knew what she was talking about and that she had probably experienced this glitch several times before since the machines were recently installed. The morning comes, and no call. The day ends, and no call. I went in the following evening and spoke to someone at customer service who referred me to a manager. No receipt. No possibility of even generating a receipt. She knew the time my purchase was made, the self-​scan register, the exact amount of my purchase and the items I bought, but she couldn’t generate a receipt. After waiting about fifteen minutes, she approached me and handed me a piece of 8.5×11 paper listing the items I had purchased, with one caveat: it’s not a receipt so I can’t use it for a return or, even more, I can’t use it to get reimbursed through my HSA for part of the purchase. I reiterated that this was unacceptable. I made a purchase, I deserved a receipt, and I was promised a receipt by (name of employee, who i identified). She left to consult with god-​only-​knows-​who, and after another five minutes or so I said «Forget it. You get a big fat zero for reconciling an error made by the store/​employee.»
Yeah, it’s not as convenient to go to other stores since Target is a one-​stop shopping place, but I’m doing it, and I won’t be back again.

Imari, you made our day! Thank you for your excellent customer service and paper bags (at no additional charge). We are visiting from out of town and hope to see you again when we return. Target is lucky to have you.

I BEYOND love target, they always have exactly what i need! I go there like twice a week its insane sometimes more! What really sucks about this target is their customer service, now I’m not saying every single one of them is rude, unwilling to help or just straight up mean but a hand full are. Things like that are we push clients (like myself) to find other places to shop at. I try to go to the one in south center aince theyre customer service is amazing! Hopefully this one will run into some better management or stop hiring rude employees!

I love me some Target — I even have a red card! And as much as I try to shop local and support smaller mom n’ pop stores, I cannot keep away from a Target. In fact, I frequent two Targets closer to me than the Target down in White Center… but I happened to be in the area and needed to get some wall hooks and home goods.
Having been to this Target many times in the past, I had forgotten that it’s like the sad forgotten Target among the 3 in the Seattle area. It’s big, sure — but it reeks of stinky popcorn reminding me of the ‘old’ Target from the 80s and 90s. This is like a throwback Target.
It was just not as tidy or bright as the downtown or Northgate Targets. Did they still carry a lot of the same merchandise? Certainly. They even had a grocery section for people attempting a one-​stop-​shop. But if you’re deciding between which Target to head to, I’d recommend spending a few more mins in your car and heading 6 – 10 miles north to either City Target or Northgate for a better shop. Less crowded and no choke-​on-​air popcorn smell.

WORST TARGET I’VE BEEN TOO.
This one I can never find what I’m looking for. You would assume that the signs saying where things are located is correct. However it’s not. Everything is always shoved onto different shelves.
A couple months ago, I bought a bottle of Platinum Vodka from here. The bottle was dinged up, but I assumed that’s what I get for buying vodka in a plastic bottle. I got home to open it, and glue pieces came off into my hand. That’s when I knew I got screwed over. Someone emptied out the vodka, filled it with water, and glued the cap back on!
I got in my car to go show customer service. I knew I couldn’t return an «open bottle» of alcohol, I mainly just brought it to customer service to show what’s happening to their alcohol stock! The girl behind the customer service counter was NOT helpful. She very nervously kept repeating that they can’t accept a return on alcohol. Even though I made my point very clear that I was just trying to show them what’s happening. I left the bottle on the counter in a huff, the girl very politely asks «Did you want your bottle of water?» YEAH COOL THANKS.

The target is a lot larger than the one that’s closest to my house. Well worth the drive! they seem to have tons of extra products that mine doesn’t carry, probably because of the size of the store! The store is always very clean! occasionally the parking lot is slightly shady but the staff seems to get that under control quickly.

Target is target but I had such a wonderful experience I decided to share. I was returning a microwave and did not have my receipt. A lady named Elsa helped me. She was so warm and friendly I wanted to buy her lunch. I have worked in customer service my whole life and have never been treated this good by an employee. I was admittedly being difficult and she handled it so well and was so warm and professional! Target needs to keep that one around.

The parking lot is a nightmare, cramped and people walking every which way. The check-​out lines are no different. Don’t understand the bunched up registers. The lines are unbearably long and the express lane is closed. I’ve had to leave my basket of items and leave to avoid a nervous breakdown. The cashiers look like they’re moving in slow motion.

For the record, I consider Target to be a slight upgrade to Wal-​Mart only with different colors and not as big. That said, one should expect the same standards that these stores bring. The employees that work at the Westwood Target are fine. No one went out of their way to help me, which is ok with me given that most of us that shop Target should know where everything is at. The cashiers were nice and friendly. But like I mentioned before, one should expect this level of service so it’s not like this store blew me away with exceptional customer service.
The negative mark I would place on the Westwood Target is that they don’t have as good of stock as other stores. Maybe it’s because the store is smaller but it seems that they don’t have as large of a selection as other Target stores whether it’s clothes, food, paper towels, cleaning supplies, home appliances, etc. most of the time if I don’t find what I need at this store I end up going to the other stores in the Westwood Shopping Center like Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Staples, or QFC. At other Targets I’ve been to, they usually have had everything I was looking for without the need to go to another store. This location… not so much.

Cons: Deceptive managers, worst cashiers I have ever experienced, Have to pay for paper bags /​Shopping bags
Pros: Clean, decent prices
Decent place to shop if you can avoid interaction with the employees & Managers

I was in this Target and wanted to try on a t-​shirt. Imagine my surprise when I discovered someone had pooped on the fitting room floor.
I did not try on the t-​shirt.

Been shopping here for several years now and this is my go to store for basic items.
The people who work here always seem very friendly. I can usually find what I need here and things are affordable.

I came in to this location with the BF looking specifically for lawn chairs. They had some, but only the kind that sit low to the ground. We ended up getting some of the cheap-​o metal chairs. We were in a rush so didn’t look around elsewhere beyond the office supplies.
Noticed that the store was pretty clean and organized. Also noticed that this location carries groceries.
Couldn’t find a Target employee anywhere when we had a question. We went all over the store. I ended up asking two random strangers when I saw what was in their cart where they got their stuff so I could find what we were looking for.
Target seems to only have employees at the registers, the food court, and hiding at the fitting rooms. Where are all of the staff who should be helping people, straightening shelves, and walking the aisles?

I realize this is a big, Wal-​Mart like store, so I have to keep the bar low. However, this Target is probably the most frustrating Target I have ever entered due to the checkout lines. I have never seen more than 3 open at a time, and it doesn’t matter if people are spilling out into the aisle, management WON’T open another line. Lame! That is poor customer service all the way around.
I am a person who enjoy shopping, but going to this Target is a last resort. I only come here when QFC doesn’t have something and it is a last minute need because I know that every single time I go here, there will be a 10 – 15 minute wait in line, even during non-​peak hours.
Other than the lines, they have a very limited selection of pretty much everything. Instead of doing a few things well, they do several things poorly. Additionally, if you need help from an associate, good luck.
I don’t know if there are staffing issues here, but Westwood Village is surrounded by places that sell the exact same thing for about the same price. I hope Target takes notice and improves because there is no lack of competition in this area.

This Target is about average for their stores.
Pluses: It’s normally pretty easy to find whatever you are looking for. I usually go here as a back-​up (because it’s close to me), but won’t do the majority of my shopping there because of their price (which are higher than surrounding stores), but they are great for last minute things. They rarely run out of stock on things, so that is good too.
Minuses: The parking lot is almost always crowded. I find that there are rarely enough cashiers, so I end up waiting a bit. They usually only have about 30% of their lanes open at any given time.
It’s a Target. =+)

They have a serious problem keeping product in stock — one week they literally had one box of cat liter… The entire row was empty! They have tons of staff but management must be lax as I see stuff thrown around and product displays look junky.
It’s a target so I still go for the odds and ends that I can’t get at QFC or Target in DT.
