My husband and I just ate here for the first time and did not have great expectations because the location has not been good for previous restaurants. However, we were thrilled; Wonderful tasty Thai food with very fresh ingredients. We had the spicy seafood salad which was excellent, and the chili paste fried rice, another good choice. We look forward to many more meals there so we can try all that has been recommended. The service couldn’t have been more gracious.

Overall, really good Thai food. Wish they were more accomodating for gluten free options though.(should have gluten free soy sauce)

I’d love to eat here more often, however I just find a couple things bizarre. I’ve only ordered to go here and I always get red curry because it’s the only thing on the menu that I think is really, really good. 1. They charge extra for rice, but how do they serve the curry when you eat in? Without rice? So I need to pay for rice, but one order isn’t enough so I have to get 2 and have paid 4 dollars for rice. My total comes to $ 17. I just make my own rice at home now. 2. The rice thing, I can get over. But I ordered during lunch once and the curry comes with rice and an appetizer. But the container is half the size. Good trade off, better deal. The right amount of rice now! I’m happy 3. So I order today at dinner time because I’m craving the curry and the curry is in the half-sized lunch container, still comes with no rice for the dinner price. Not a happy camper. The people are really nice though. If they changed their business practices I’d probably come here once a week and give the place 4 stars. But instead, I’m giving them 2 stars for being cheap and penalizing people for ordering take out.

Ordered to-go and it arrived within the estimated time(1 hour). Food was average and nothing really wowed us. The kale in the pad thai was a nice touch though – nice to know that what I’m ordering has some nutritional value.

I need to give this place more shots… First time I tried this place I said I was number 3 and he said«what» and I said«three» he thought I wanted three number 3’s… He told me to pay for 2 since he made three even though I only wanted one and my friends a vegetarian so she couldn’t eat any. The salad I ordered was missing the salad portion shown in the picture on Unilocal.I gave them a couple more shots and they are pretty good. Soup is good and most recently I got Pad See Ew and it’s good but a it over cooked. I also asked if it was made with Chinese broccoli or regular broccoli and I was told it was regular but it was actually Chinese which I hate and think tastes sour. I’ll keep giving this place more shorts and hope they get better.

Super nice staff. You know it’s good thai food when the pad thai has tofu, regardless of what meat you choose.

The drunken noodles with the tofu is the best. You get free soup with lunch and a spring roll. The staff is very friendly.

Love this place! The interior is small and intimate with a very tasteful design sense. Their crab and cheese appetizer is to die for. So puffy and completely loaded with crab and cream cheese. I eat these at home with sweet and sour sauce – so yummy. As far as entrees, I’ve had their Thai chicken fried rice and their cashew chicken and both have been excellent. I also had a soup– the name escapes me but it was the coconut based one, and it was also delicious. So far I haven’t been disappointed with this place! They even deliver, which has been a godsend for me and my boyfriend on those stay in your pajamas type days.

Drive by this place all the time. Decided to try. Had the peanut Chicken sauce noodle. Was delicious. My fiancé had the yum Woon Sen salad. She was very pleased. Great service. Great décor. Too bad no one else here. Such great Thai food at great price. No more driving down south for my Thai Food.

I’ve only had their Tom Kha, but oh baby! It’s the best I’ve ever had. This review would be 5 stars, except the guy taking my order was rather useless and unconcerned. He seemed like he might have just been filling in(hopefully not new to the business!), but either way, the lady there was on top of it and did his job for him. Go lady! I will come back for you! Best tom kha *ever*. It’s making me salivate just thinking about it.

I thought what I had, the Tom Kha soup was going to be great. They first forgot to add my chicken in which was hugely disappointing. There was some shrimp but only the custom 3 pieces. The coconut broth was good but a little plain not a lot of spices. The delivery took about 40 minutes and we live 2 blocks away. I’ll probably try another place next time.

WOW! We have lived in the neighborhood a long time and seen this little place change hands a few times… but we are VERYHOPEFUL that this gem on the north end doesn’t go anywhere! We tried it for the first time to see what it was all about, not even reading the reviews first, and were more than dellighted with our meals. We decided to stay on the simple side, as they do have an extensive menu(that we plan to try all of after this point), and ordered the Pad Thai and Chili Noodle. Both were excellent! Spicy but not just heat, real flavor. They lovingly wrapped our to go orders in foil before placing them into the boxes, which kept them from sticking and nice and hot until we got home. The food was perfectly cooked, so fresh, and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the owners(at least I think that was who they were) were so nice. I cannot wait for my next Thai food craving and to try the rest of what they have to offer.

This place is brand new, right by North Greenwood and 145th. I gave it a try tonight with my girlfriend, and we both really loved it. We had red curry, chicken pad thai and a small tom yum soup. Everything was flavorful and timely, and prices are reasonable too. Only sad thing was that we were there on a Friday at 8 and we were the only 2 people there :(come try them out, they’re really great and could use some more business!

I have been twice — and very happy both times. I have gone for lunch. Very decent price/quantity ratio — with real food, well prepared, seems fresh and is tasty. I will definitely be back.

Thai Greenwood is one of the better Thai restaurants I’ve been to since moving to Seattle. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. I highly recommend this place if you have also grown tired of the snobbery further south on Greenwood ***cough like Thai Ku cough*** In any case you will not be disappointed. We plan on going back very soon.

I’m a huge Thai food snob and a harsh critic, this new trendy place passed all my tests. Clean and modern décor– they nailed it. I convinced my friend who doesn’t have quite as an evolved Thai food pallette as me(you know the people that stay safe ordering 1 star phad thai every time) but I convinced her to try panang chicken curry… creamy and flavored to perfection, pad see ew … one of my favorite glass noodle dishes that not all thai food restaurants have, savory and perfect, and she HAD to have potsticker soup, which is typically kind of blah, but this was so yummy and flavorful! We also ordered spring rolls that were pretty darn good. All were 2 star on her account,(I usually do 4 star and burn my tongue off) but it was actually a great choice as it didn’t take away from the flavor, but still had a kick. The service was great and the timing on the food was perfect too. I can’t wait to go back!

Delicious! We ordered larb gai and pad siew and both were fantastic. Nice to see that have som tum and mango with sticky rice on the menu. We’ll be back to try those and more! Oh, and super friendly staff. Décor was tasteful and clean. Super bonus, they play classic sappy Thai music.
