While the giant pizza slices are not only delicious but really fun, the service left something to be desired. The place was fairly empty since we were there on a Sunday afternoon and it seemed to annoy the bartender/server that we were even there. Still, four stars for the delicious slice of prosciutto and pineapple pizza at a reasonable price($ 6). I also tried my friend’s jojos which were well seasoned and I appreciated that they weren’t the thick, awkward consistency that happens all too often with jojos. Finally, there was a solid draft selection and free pool on Sunday’s!

Met a friend for a couple glasses of wine and chat… Ended up having a taco salad that was huge! Waitress was great, the 20 something staff came in for trivia that appears to be on Wednesday nights. Cool place just to hang out!

When I think of a ballroom, I think of some 17th-century Mozart-type waltz affair. This establishment is the exact opposite of that description, and I mean that in the best way possible. Whether you’re interested in laying low and grabbing a drink with friends, dancing the night away, playing pool, or grabbing a large slice of pizza, you can find yourself having a great night at The Ballroom. The servers are pretty attentive, DJs play pretty good tunes, and pool area is pretty relaxed with several tables — you shouldn’t have a problem securing one if you come in a large group. I mainly spent my night on the dance floor. I was pretty impressed by the DJ — he played a solid mix of old hip hop hits and more recent«modern classics»; he was also quite responsive to song requests, although the request queue can get quite long. One odd thing that struck my extroverted self was that people there don’t really mingle with others; they rather keep to their own groups with which they arrived and dance in small, tight circles. Oh well. I’d definitely be back if I were in the area; it was the best lounge/bar I visited when I was up here for a weekend.

They have amazing customer service and the best late night menu I’ve seen in all of Seattle… Pizza, sammies, salads. Been coming here since 2012. Greatest spot in Seattle hands down!

THEWORSTSERVICE I’VEEVERHAD!!! Went for appetizers and drinks on Saturday, Feb 27th at 8:00pm, so this is during a slow time. Our server Cynthia was the worst I’ve ever encountered! She took our order and drinks, then when she came to deliver the food she plopped it on the table and left with no silverware, napkins and neglected to ask if we wanted anything else. We had to go to the bar to get our own napkins and asked the bartender if we could have 2 spoons for our artichoke dip, in which he let Cynthia know our request. Cynthia came over to our table and jammed 1 spoon in our artichoke dip and walked away! THATWASEXTREMELYRUDE and we were appalled!!! Cynthia continued to make her rounds to her other tables, making sure they had additional rounds of drinks and orders, but didn’t come back to our table for 30 minutes. That is when we asked for our check in which she didn’t come back for another 15 minutes, so again, we ended up giving it to the bartenders. What’s the most offensive thing was her lack of service to just our table. She had no problem with the other ones, nor was this a busy time of service to have an excuse for her rudeness and lack of any kind of service. Perhaps if we were like the other tables and full of men, she would have been nicer to us, but it was just myself and my girlfriend. I hope The Ballroom managers/owners see this and ensure this awful service doesn’t continue. As far as the food, it was mediocre bar food, but that’s not what we went there for. We were there to have a good time, but this experience has ensured we will never give The Ballroom our business and recommendations.

Stopped in on a Friday night. The place was packed with folks drinking, shooting pool and lining up to dance. Initially it took a moment to get a waitress, but once we broke that ice, it seems like every few minutes or so someone was coming by to check on us and bus our tables. We tried the pizza, $ 4.50 for a huge slice, and very tasty. The dog rings were just okay, the breading mostly fell off so that we were left with giant pieces of onion. The DJ was playing a good mix of old school standards and newer stuff guaranteed to get your booty shaking.

Was in last night, one of my favorite spots. Always nice to see the bartenders Mike and Lolo, Awesome guys! A Fremont hot spot for sure, great vibe and always worth the visit. Dancing fun on Fridays and Saturdays. A perfect neighborhood chill spot on the weekdays for pool or fireside drinks.

I was here for a birthday party a couple nights ago. Great place to hang out in Fremont. In the good side: Pizza by the slice that’s the size of your head and affordable. Really you must try the pizza. Friendly waitresses 6 pool tables that rotated regularly so the wait was not bad Huge space to hang out On the bad side: Avoid the onion rings. The sauce was good but waaay to much corn dog batter per ring. You loose the glory of an onion ring. Slow service to start. We had to track someone down to order. They more staff on a Friday night to handle the crowd. All in all I would go back. It seems like a nice place to get some bar food and hang after work.

They wouldn’t let me in the bar/club tonight. I’m writing this after I’ve been denied entry! I’m 100% sober… I don’t understand why they’d deny me access to their club. Such a pity! The bouncers are extremely disrespectful! And I had a South African passport with me. They couldn’t provide me an answer why they couldn’t let me in. Now there’s a man named Mike Friedmann(not sure if this is a fake profile) bashing me for my one star rating on Facebook. This looks extremely unprofessional. Telling me I’m a little entitled brat and that I think I’m cute? I have no idea why this man is so upset but he’s ruining Ballroom’s reputation further on social media. I strongly advise the managers to check this out.

PIZZA. Thin crust NY style — enormous! See my pic. I’m not sure how many people share my view that at first sight this place isn’t a sports bar, but it is. Many TVs and high top inspired booths, 1 with a built in firepit. The staff is awesome. They were a little hesitant to put on a non– Seahawks game BUT did try to accommodate. If you’re inclined to sit outdoors there is a fenced section in the front that has firepit to keep you warm in the winter. Lots of space inside with a huge pool table area towards the back.

They took my drink away for no reason. I’m writing this the night of and am definitely not intoxicated. No refunds on the drink and they cut me off. This is a first. Avoid Edit: 1 star to 4. The staff talked to me about what happened that night. Apparently there were some issues going on in the venue and they made a mistake. It was a confusion.

Biggest pizza slices ever! Lots of pizza variety and great salads. Nice for watching games or playing pool and the outdoor area is perfect for a nice day. The outdoor area has a fireplace as well as a fire table that you can eat around. Overall pretty good service and very decent food.

Came here to grab a drink and they seemed a little pricey for the kind of place it was. It’s your typical sports bar, a little divey but not entirely. There’s a nice outdoor patio with fire pits and TV’s. Inside there are pool tables, but you have to pay to play.

The Ballroom is a solid choice if you are looking for a standard bar that rises above«divey» but doesn’t get too pretentious. I went on a Friday night and there was no cover. The staff was friendly and efficient, the drinks were good(though served in plastic cups, which is weird), and there was lots of seating both inside and out. I’m not much of a dancer but there is a quarter of the space sectioned off for the dancing crowd. They also serve giant pizza slices which looked good but I never had an opportunity to try. Three stars because it wasn’t over-the-top special and the pool costs $ 12 an hour, which seems a little steep. Overall a decent place.

So The Ballroom was a place that I used to frequent when I was college. I even had a big old birthday party there once in the back room. From what I could remember, I had a great time with no issues what so ever. The thing I love most about this place is that you can eat, drink, chill outside around the fireplace, play pool or dance when there’s a dj. Am I going to say the food is the best around? No, but the food is fine especially the pizza. Lately when I hit up Fremont, I never leave without a slice from The Ballroom. Usually I’ll do a Seattle dog when I’m on Cap Hill, Belltown or Pioneer Square, but when in Fremont, I do a slice and a cheese steak from the stand next to 7 Eleven.

Love this place. Stiff drinks. Friendly staff that’s really on top of managing the place. GIANT pizza slices for $ 5. Lots of seating or pool tables. Great(heated) outdoor area with extra seating. I think there is an $ 8 cover on weekends which is super random number but I guess it’s so you use the extra $ 1s to tip? Only warning? The dance floor can be a bit of a «meat market» and it’s kinda shoved in like an afterthought. Go to Nectar for dancing.

I have attended many special events here at the Ballroom. When the event is going on, the music is great, the service is consistent and the employees always get into the event they are hosting. It is a good time. When there are no events and the place is just the Ballroom. it feels like they are such great chameleons they don’t know who they are or they choose to be a boring billiard place. The music becomes a bit slow or old and I saw that the clientele didn’t relate to it when I dropped by after the event was done. The environment and space options as well as use of space is fun and innovative as they have coves of spaces like rooms that split many areas including the dance floor. one day I will try the food here but so far only drinks. The prices of drinks are a hit and miss as well as some drinks are priced fairly and some others priced very high. Don’t expect to spend a small amount of funds at this location. The music is VERY loud during functions. I found myself yelling at girls for my entire visit and then came back to find that they don’t usually pump it up that much. It really depends on your reason for visiting this establishment on what you will get in return.

The Ballroom is a popular spot, among my friends, to watch football and I can see why. It’s spacious with multiple flat screens where you’re bound to get a good view of the game. There’s also a patio area to hang at if you need some fresh air. Food for the most part is decent. I really like their pizzas by the slice, with the margherita as my favorite. Avoid the coffee here and get your caffeine fix elsewhere. If you plan to come here on a Sunday afternoon, be prepared to search for parking due to the Fremont Sunday Market.

Expected huge crowds and bad service, but what we got on this Thursday night was cheap drinks, great service and delicious pizza. The reputation of this spot precedes it, but hit it on off hours and you will love the warm fires and great service. Enjoy !
