Great Ahi Sandwich. Service was also very good. This place is great for view and sandwiches

OMG! The clam chowder had me licking the bowl. Best I’ve had. The blackened salmon stuffed with crab was ok. But the chowder got me floating.

Great restaurant. I’m so glad we saved this place for our last meal. We ordered the clam chowder bread bowl and the cup of seafood chowder. Obviously I loved the clam chowder it was delicious, but the red seafood chowder was pretty great too. I’m always going to choose clam chowder, but the other put up a pretty good fight. I really liked eating them back to back. We ordered a ½ dozen oysters and they serve it with a type of spicy vinegar sauce. It’s actually pretty good, but I would have preferred some extra hot sauce, but I couldn’t wait to eat them. The the bf and I split a whole dungeness crab and it was perfect. The waiter split it up for us and for $ 36 it was a lot of food. Our waiter was Shaun and he was absolutely awesome. Seriously he totally made the experience that much better. He was funny but also attentive. Great server!!! We need to come back so we can try one of the crab feast meals. Also, there view here is amazing. I mean you are basically sitting right on the water. I’d love to sit on the patio in warmer months.

We originally wanted to go to «The Crab Pot» next door but there was a 2-hour wait around 7pm on New Year’s Eve. *sigh* The girl at the door recommended this place and mentioned there is no wait. We weren’t disappointed. It’s right next to the big ferris wheel, which you have a view of and you also have a view of the water. We were immediately seated upon walking in. Our waiter quickly waited on us and had gotten our drinks. We weren’t ready to order yet. He gave us some time and came back several times to check on us. He made suggestions and answered any of our questions. Our waiter didn’t look too happy at first to serve us. But who would want to be working on New Year’s Eve??? He did warm up later though. We did end up having excellent service! The ambiance was ok… It was a tad bit noisy but they were busy and there were quite a bit of people. There is a large screen TV at the bar but we sat in the dining area. There are bathrooms inside with quite a few stalls for the ladies room. There are also public restrooms right outside the restaurant as well. The food was delicious with the exception of the clam chowder, which we found to be rather on the salty side. Their bread, which was given as a starter was delicious. We had ordered coconut prawns and the sauce on the side was good. We also ordered crab with a side of potatoes and green beans and shared that as well. We had 6 oysters and a bucket of clams and mussels. They were all so scrumptious… Especially the soup that the clams and mussels were cooked in. They came in a tall bucket, which we shared and our waiter threw in another bucket. YUMMMMY! It was my friend’s birthday so I asked about a dessert. He had his pick from the dessert menu and chose a slice of coffee mocha cake. The cake arrived with a single lit candle. He made his wish and blew it out. I didn’t have any of it but everyone else said it was sooo good and it wasn’t too overbearingly sweet. As proof, every morsel of it was gone!!! I would be back here if I’m in the mood for some clams. I do love my clams!

I only came here because it was one of the few restaurants open on New Year’s day. Honestly, I was a still little hopeful stepping into the restaurant even with the 3-star rating on Unilocal, but they failed to prove me wrong. The food here may be on the expensive side because of the location(tourists and whatnot) but the least they could do is provide decent food. Everything my friends and I ordered were way to salty and dry. Pretty sure some of the dishes were just microwaved. Our server also pretty much forgot about us after seating us and we had to go out of our way to have him take our order. All in all, I had a very very disappointing experience here. Not worth the money at all and poor service. I would give this restaurant only one star, but the decent location and view deserves another.

This was a quick stop after a busy morning at the aquarium: we needed food stat! To avoid meltdowns! My hubs and I both had clam chowder; it was good and clammy with a touch of pepper. My son had the kids cheese pizza, which was your typical kids’ cheese pizza. My daughter had the glob of buttered noodles; it didn’t look very appetizing but she liked it. The best part of the meal was their house made sourdough bread with whipped butter; very very tasty. You can’t beat the view either.

Come for lunch on a Monday. Very spacious and not crowded. Their Bloody Mary is delicious here! Their half shell oysters(half a dozen) compared to EMC back in southern Cali, is good and fresh here. Proportion of oyster is plump and not too slimy. The vinaigrette they pair the oysters with compliments well! Chicken alfredo not too oily, and not too creamy. Smoked salmon Alfredo however was on the salty side. Would probably taste better if it wasn’t smoked. Total came out to be about $ 70.

This restaurant is not busy at all. We came here on a weekend and there were hardly anyone here during lunch time. I did end up getting a seat by the window with the view of the Ferris wheel. The place is a bit run down and there are 1 or 2 flies flying around. Carpet seems to be a bit dirty I ordered a clam chowder and that was good but because I have went to the oregon coast, I had better clam chowder. Then I got a chicken salad. The chicken was super dry to the point, I don’t think its edible. I couldn’t finish it and I didn’t want to bring it home. Service is not that great either. The server is hard to find. What was worse is that when she fills the water in the glass she pours from far away and the water splashed into my faces and glasses. But again the food is not expensive. Definitely not coming back.

Various floors to the place make it very capable of holding a lot of people. The views from the tables indoor and out are extraordinary. The food is to die for! The clam chowder is not the white white clam chowder but the yellow/cream chowder and it is AMAZZZZZING! I don’t think I’ve had a better clam chowder in this whole world! After I got a cup and my 7 year old daughter tried it, she got a cup and ate every bit of it and wanted more! My fiancé and I shared the Alaskan King Crab and it was more than enough. So good!!! Def recommend this place to anyone!

My friend and I came here before heading over to the ferris wheel right next to the restaurant. The food we ordered was fine and the drinks were good. Try the raspberry mixed drink, it is delicious. I wish instead of ordering the fisherman’s soup in a bread bowl, that I had ordered the regular chowder in a bread bowl. The fisherman’s version just wasn’t that great to me. The view the restaurant has of the water is beautiful. We couldn’t sit outside as we came at night and they don’t have patio heaters. I say, come during the day to enjoy the view :) Also our waitress and the guy who kept refilling our waters were very personable and on top of things. Great job to them!

Love this spot! Stopped in here after riding the big wheel. We each had a bowl of clam chowder. It was so fresh and absolutely delicious. All the other chain places were packed but this place is tucked away so it doesn’t get all the annoying tourist crowds in the bar area. Don’t get me wrong, it was busy in the dining area and there was a wait to be seated. However, the bar area was not packed, which was nice because we knew that we wanted an appetizer before we went to dinner later on. A must stop place!

This place is right next to the water and the Seattle Great Wheel. The atmosphere is great. Typical of what you’d find eating at a restaurant on a pier with the nautical décor. We came for dinner and had seafood on the brain. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder, a half dozen oysters, a bucket of steamed mussels, and a whole Dungeness crab. Everything was great! I need to give a shout out to our waiter, Charlie! He was the nicest and most attentive waiter. I haven’t had this in awhile. He had the kitchen split our clam chowder and Dungeness crab in separate bowls/plates. It made things so much more convenient. He also gave us a free cup sampling of another soup of theirs. He had my second glass of Sprite on the way before I could even ask. And he’s such a friendly dude! Thumbs up!

Great spot right on the waterfront. The entrance is about a half block back from the sidewalk and parking options are minimal. We ended up parking across the street in a paid lot. The host stand is very far from the entrance, so it was a little confusing. Also kind of smelly, which almost made me walk out. I asked for an outside table, though, and the smell was not a problem and the view was really nice. The crab dip was good, but not the best I’ve had. The stuffed sole special was really, really good. Asparagus was the seasonal vegetable and it was nice and large and fresh. I subbed fries in for the rice and felt pretty good about that choice when paired with the yummy tartar sauce. Minus one star due to the smell and the lackluster service. Server was slow and timid.

We came here on a Monday for lunch. I was so excited to order the Ahi Poke because I absolutely love the dish and it being a seafood restaurant I thought it would be excellent. Unfortunately I think the tuna was old– it was slimy and not a fresh, vibrant color. It also had absolutely no flavor in the dish. It was almost 15 dollars and we didn’t eat even half of it! We ordered the kids Mac and cheese which LOOKED delicious, but was also flavorless. The kids breaded chicken fingers were burned, but the fries were nice and fresh. The house salad with ranch dressing was tasty, but how can you mess that up? The clam chowder was also very good and it’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. The service was good, but I don’t think Seattle is a very friendly place anyway.

I’d give this place a 3.5 star rating, as nothing was exceptional, but it was not bad either! We got seated promptly outside as it was a weekday, so thankfully it wasn’t busy. We were greeted by our server who was very helpful in recommending dishes. We were thinking about the feast, but was steered away from that because of the sheer amount of food. I ended up getting the Snow Crab — which was on the sweeter side and so delicious with the russet potatoes and asparagus. We got a bowl of clam chowder to share as well, which had a good taste, but I’ve had better! Our server was very attentive and rooted us on periodically during our meal to finish our 3 crabs! To drink I got the ginger lemonade, which was refreshing! Overall, great service, okay ambiance, and good food — just got great! The waterfront location is definitely a plus!

Really unimpressed. We chose to eat inside, because I didn’t want to be victim to the Waterfront’s aerial elements. Big mistake. They forgot about us, and our window seat had a lovely view of a bunch of DIY-looking equipment. After waiting a good half-hour to even be regarded, we had out order taken. The guy was nice, but sheesh. It wasn’t even half-full in there. Hubby and I shared the salmon, and it was good. Kiddies were fairly satiated, though memory doesn’t serve as to what they had. All in all, however, the food wasn’t special enough to warrant that long of a wait and that whatever of a view. Save your pennies for something better.

We normally get their feast style dinners and the portions are huge! We like their salmon and halibut feast. The feast also comes with chowder, bucket of mussels and clams and salad. The servers here are all super nice! I’ll definitely recommend coming here if you are super hungry and have a craving for seafood!

It’s our family tradition to come here from Oregon and have their fantastic clam chowder. It is by far the best clam chowder that we’ve had in Seattle. Their menu is broad. I wanted the Halibut Cerviche but they had sold out. The best time to come is an hour or two before the sun starts to set, to enjoy the view.

So I went into dinner here — heading the reviews I had combed through prior. Touristy, okay service, mediocre food. I was pleasantly surprised on a couple of points. First, the service — it was VERY attentive and good. They came by with complimentary sour dough bread and water(and made sure our waters were always filled). All the way until we paid for our bill — service was really good. Food — we did an appetizer(crab dip) and salads(shrimp/crab Louie). Both were fine. The appetizer was actually delicious so I am glad we did it AND I would recommend it. The shrimp/crab Louie was okay… for 24 bucks totally NOT worth it, but taste was okay — you can’t really mess up a salad. I will warn you that the shrimp are BAY shrimp(the litte itty bitty ones) but there was plenty of it and plenty of crab too. The tomatoes seemed a bit off, but hell I just plucked them off. Location — beautiful spot for a restaurant right on the water front. Our table had a nice view of the water. Now, there is a TON of construction down there and all the entrances to go directly to each pier(this one is on Pier 57) are totally blocked so it was a hassle to get to this place. Not sure when construction will be completed but it is a hot mess down there.

After seeing what’s inside the Aquarium, we were in the mood to eat some fish. I don’t know why, but watching all those things swim around made me just wanna batter them and fry em in oil and bite the crap out of it. This spot sells halibut fish and chips, and the Clam chowder in sour dough bread bowl. It’s sorta touristy, but when the belly beckons, I will eat literally anything that’s edible. Anyways, we ordered from their quick order bar type at the upper floor area in the pier. We walked up, we ordered and we received our food. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our food was hot, the bread held the soup, and there was vinegar to dip our fish and chips on. Yes, the world is peaceful and definitely amazing at this point. Pair that with a really stunning view of the ocean, and you have yourself a nice romantic setting. The Clam chowder tasted like Clam chowder, it’s delish. The halibut tasted like halibut, that’s delish as well, even the potato sticks tasted like french fries. OMG! I don’t know where these bad reviews are coming from. Then I noticed something extremely odd about the place… The tables are unusually clean for some reason. To me, this is extremely mind bending. I think it has a lot to with the staff that makes her rounds in the dining area to clear up clutter and literally wipe down the tables with her hands. HERHANDS! I don’t know what else they can think of that’ll top this. Anyway, this spot is a good spot for a quick easy bite to eat. No nonsense, just eat, enjoy and forget about it.
