A hipster dive bar that has great burgers and cheap beer. Their burgers especially the Twilight burger are so delicious with some creative toppings. The drinks are CHEAP and HEAVYPOUR especially during Happy Hour(10 – 8 weekends and 4 – 8 weekdays). Too bad they got rid of the Birthday drink essentially 10 – 12 shots in a 1 liter mug… good times. During the summer, their outdoor patio is open always a plus.

Dark and spooky but fun and delicious. The Greek fries were amazing, and there’s a decent beer selection. Ambience was chill and mostly low noise levels. It’s in a weird part of town that makes you feel like you’re going to get robbed, but I feel it’s totally worth it. Will return.

«Food is great. Drinks are great. The female bartender probably shouldn’t be working a on a busy Friday night, or let alone costumer service.»

This was a fun dive bar in central district. They have big buck hunter in the back and lots tables in the front, good for groups. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. I did not go on Sunday, but they do have karaōke on Sunday night! I plan to come back for that. They had about 5 – 7 beers on tap and most were tasty, local brews. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual, low-key, drink spot.

Best bar ever. All of their food is great, but their burgers are spectacular. Erica the bartender is awesome.

Not sure under what confluence of criteria brings this pit four stars, but here is my story. This past Wednesday(day before Thanksgiving)…my sister and I are looking for a bar close to our location, having successfully navigated BOTH Whole Foods Market and QFC for the family holiday vittles. Twilight Exit did not open until 4:00 pm, so we milled aimlessly for ten minutes. THE bartender(single…as in the only bartender there… white female) was dinking around with the computer, and it was 4:10 before we got our double Maker’s with soda backs($ 30.00). We bs’d a bit, she told us about her cool cold brewed coffee growler, and she moved on to other tasks… I asked to see a menu, just to see what it looked like. Looked right at her and asked the question at a decent volume… and was ignored. Asked again and increased the volume… at that point, a menu was presented. I was honestly treated as an annoyance rather than a consumer of the establishments offerings… wasn’t there for karaōke or sitting around looking angsty… I was there to DRINK! Left $ 10.00 for the tip, downed my drink and bounced. Won’t EVER go back… listen…ANY place where I will do a better job getting my own drink than going through the bartender is not worth my time or money. BTW…I lived in Seattle from 1987 until 1997… and am not some Cali douchebag complaining like the service is better in Cali… it generally isn’t, and if I am any«state-identified» douchebag, it would be New York. FU hipster ASS Last Exit bartender lady(Erica(name on the receipt)…you truly sucked… even my sister agreed, and she is usually on the side of anyone that pisses me off)!!!

Always laid back and the food is decent. Always a enjoyable place to kick back. The meatloaf is a little unusual in seasoning, but I still enjoyed it. Burgers are usual good with no complaints.

I feel like this spot is a haven in the quickly changing Seattle area. A grungy, dive bar that is a comfortable hang and I could only imagine that a mere 5 – 10 years ago, the vibe was even more different then. A great spot.

This is the best bar in Seattle, hands down. Be sure to come for karaōke on Sunday nights and get the wings!

Good bar food, ok prices, staff could’ve been a bit more attentive. Vibe is cool — dark and laid back. Get the wings. Awesome hot sauce.

Sitting in here as I write this review. Wait staff is rude and pretty stuck up. They forgot our food order, then proceeded to ask is if we’re SURE that we ordered. Yes we’re sure… we’ve been waiting almost an hour, and are famished. Not to mentioned we paid for our food already… so yeah we’re sure. So frustrating. Don’t come here if you’re hungry and want to eat within an hour.

Love this place BUT the last time I was there I got a shot of Fernets(neat) and it was DEFINITELY watered down. Really upsetting, totally dishonest :/

This is a neighborhood spot… locals camp out on the patio and around the inside bar with tight seating and darkness that provides a subtle euphoria. You don’t go here to tell the bartender your woes. Order your stuff, grab your flag, and go sit the hell down. The menu offers a fried smörgåsbord of goodness… and there may be some salad or something on there too. Who knows. I love the mushroom caps but let them cool or the roof of your mouth will not be the same, get the fried cheese nuggets and blue fries… oooh your arteries and heart doc will love you. The drinks are not«crafted» but jostled together like an old school drunk magician would do it. Perfection! I really like this place and its super popular in the summer. Good luck getting a table outside, its well worth the try.

No idea why I waited so long to try this place which is right around the corner from the house I grew up in and now another family home. Ordered food for pick up on a Saturday night and it was ready in less than 15min! I even had someone show up after I placed the original order and calling back for the second did not increase our wait time at all. Get the tots, skip the super salty frozen fries. The Twilight Burger was amazing(if you love cream cheese) and the Catfish Po’ Boy fulfilled our catfish fix since our beloved Catfish Corner is gone ;( I won’t complain too much about the customer service and the fact that our food did not include the side condiments that should have come with. Overall, a good takeout experience. Plus, I would like to see them stay around… It is increasingly difficult as a person of color finding a decent spot in our neighborhood to support.

I’ve been here once, on a mid November Sunday night. I ordered fish & chips and it was nearly above average, hand breaded methinks, but not house cut fries. I was confused when the service professional axed me what side I wanted to which I snarkily said«you mean instead of chips? wtf.» I want what I want. 95% 20 something hipsters. Doing Karaōke. Karaōke? Hipsters? Whaaaa??? I’ll be back to try their weird ass burger with peanut butter on it and play some old skool video games — I think I spotted Joust flap-flapping in the corner.

What a hole in the wall this place is. How great. Fairly cheap beer, I think the Rainier’s were only around $ 3. I didn’t try food off the menu but heard it was great and they had a decent selection on the menu. If I make it back here the grilled cheese will most definitely be mine.

Any place that opens on Noon on a Saturday and has Happy Hour and a patio is fine by me. Add in strong-pours, cheap beer and really good food, and I am definitely a fan. The bartender may not be too friendly, but he goes give you a lot of booze in your doubles, and does his job as much as can be expected. Watch out for the yellow jackets on the patio though, they really like your drink. I never really go to the Central District, but sometimes my friends want to head over to the Twilight for all the aforementioned fun, so I will definitely be back soon and fairly often.

If you live in the Central District and you’re looking for a divey neighborhood bar, you could do a lot worse than the Twilight Exit! Lots of seating inside and out, cheap drinks, kitschy décor to admire, and a cheap jukebox(4 songs for $ 1!). And, I’m told, it has pretty decent bar food, too. There’s a large back patio with a ping-pong table, but it gets a lot of sun, thanks to the cris-crossing tarps that only partially cover it. When the heat gets to be too much, you can retreat into the bar, which has some arcade games, tables and booths, funky lamps, and vintage oil paintings on the walls. Happy hour goes until 8 pm and features $ 3.25 wells and $ 4.25 drafts. Their food menu has burgers, sandwiches, and salads in the $ 9 – 11 range. Overall, a solid local bar to stop into for happy hour drinks with friends!

The Twilight Exit has a few things going for it: good(bordering excellent) bar food, all the usual hard liquors you’d find, clean ladies room, a damn 32 ounce stein of free hard liquor for your birthday, and good outdoor seating/kitschy indoor seating. My friends had always told me the Twilight was THE place to go on your birthday for a highly alcoholic drink, and indeed it is. On top of this, the burgers and sandwiches are impressively good for bar food, and the rueben I had as a daily special is in the list of the top three I’ve had. It is a bit hipster douchey, but not in the unfriendly way Capitol Hill has become as of late. Street parking is plentiful.

First of all, the price to quality ratio here is astounding. Best diamond in the rough bar in Seattle proper. My favorite food item(beside the specials, which are always amazing! Yum bacon green chili mac and cheese…) is the peanut butter and bacon burger subbing in a chicken breast instead. Now, you might think that’s weird, and you can see how much I care as I revel in food glory. The drinks are stiff and happy hour is till 8pm ere’day. At the time of this writing its $ 3.75 wells. Oh, and I wish they could still allow dogs in here, but sadly they can’t. Which sucks.

This is a classy dive bar! If you can combine those two. I was worried walking up to it, windows you couldn’t see through and the entrance down the side. We peeked inside thinking it would be empty but it was packed! Happy hour til 8pm helps. No food specials except earlier on certain days. You order at the bar grab your drinks then take your flag to a table so they know which table to deliver the food to. We got Britain. I had the chicken masala with fries and fresh vegetables. My husband had the onion burger with tots. The chicken was moist and a big serving. The vegetable was alien heads… ahem brussel sprouts. My fries were hot and crispy the bottom layer soaked in the sauce yum! This dish would probably have ben better with the mashed potatoes it came with on the menu but I wanted fries darn it! And they were happy to substitute. The burger had a good portion of caramelized onions covered in a melted layer of Muenster cheese, but a little too much aioli. The tots came out warm not hot and tasted like a tot should. So overall watch out for alien brains and go light on the aioli! The food is delicious, service awesome, and great happy hour will make this my new go to place. Moral of the story don’t judge a restaurant by its storefront.
