Awesome food for cheap! Tacos($ 1.75/per) are simple, authentic and tasty. The tamales are tender and flavorful. Service was very attentive. Yes, it’s a hole in the wall in a weird strip mall thing, but it is yummy and won’t hurt your wallet. Check it out!

TLDR: Best for takeout. Quick bite to eat. Try the Jamaica juice. Average noise, most of the noise comes from the kitchen. Only seven tables – it seems more of a takeout place rather than dine in. We ate in and saw quite a few people pop in to pick up their orders. 3 taco combo with beef: «tacos» come in pairs to prevent ripping. Contents were flavorful and tastes a lot better than fast food joints. Beef is not minced but chopped and gives good texture and flavor. Some pieces were a bit chewy but nothing I couldn’t manage. Veggies and sauce were a nice compliment to the beef. Also, the tacos may look small but they can be pretty filling! Spinach and cheese pupusas: Good but oh that cheese! There is lots of it and it’s stringy! That cheese stretch is so satisfying. Slightly bland but the good kind of bland. Texture-wise, the gooey cheesy contents inside the pan fried shell may put off some people. Jamaica: lightly sweetened hibiscus juice with a slight tang – almost cranberry-like.

We haven’t been to this place since they opened, and I am happy to say that they have gotten better! Their pupusas are as good as ever. Stuffed, cheesy, and very tasty! We also tried their Caldo de Pollo(Chicken Soup) this last time around, and it was very good. Great broth, lots of vegetables, tasty and tender chicken, and I really liked the brussel sprouts they put in. We also got the carnitas tacos, and they have gotten much better. Good flavor, and wonderful salsa! Oh, and our favorite was the grilled jalapenos. Perfectly grilled with some nice salsa fresca. Give this place a try!

Papusas are amazing. I had the pork and beans ones, and they were delectable.

Puposas and horchata? Hellll yeah. Tiko Riko does both right offering delicious and affordable Latin food centered around dishes that don’t attempt to do what everyone flaw does. That being the case, don’t expect it to resemble your run of the mill Mexican chow. This ain’t that. But it is pretty awesome Latin street food done right. Also the family owners are pretty great.

Solid, solid pricing, portioning, and service. Quality, however… varies. The tacos are super authentic(corn tortilla, protein, diced onion and a chimichurri type of salsa) and amazingly delicious. Sadly I only got one. We dabbled in pupusas and I got a tamal. The tamal was not properly arranged(tons of masa at one end, tons of meat at the other) but I just mixed it all up and it was delicious once I did, especially with the hotter sauce on it(they bring you crema, middle hot sauce, and hotter). We got a chicken pupusa for me, plus bean/cheese, loroco/cheese, and spinach/cheese for my veggie s/o. They were tasty enough, but awfully mealy, especially around the edges. I only had some of the loroco, as we shared it, but the whole pupusa plate could use a bit more flavor to its cornmeal. It was a good meal, for a great price, but needs some help. We drank the Jamaica, which was pretty delicious, and I hope to try the Horchata but my s/o is against the idea of it.

Delicious chicken soup(caldo de pollo) and like everybody says, their pupusas are really good. My boyfriend had a wet burrito with beef and he really enjoyed that as well. I live right next to them and will definitely be coming here for all my Mexican/Latin food cravings!

Amazing. Amazing Latin American food. Try the papusas, chicken soup, plantans, and the fish tacos. I’m a fan, great food prepared by some super cool people. I’m impressed and I’ve been eaten Latin American cooking since I was a child. Been all across Seattle and this place is one worth trying. I’m a huge fan.

This place is great! I tried the 3 pupusas & horchata combo which was delicious. My husband got the fish burrito and a side of guac, which was delicious too. The staff is very friendly, funny and quick service. Definitely a place to eat at!

Tiko Riko serves up bright, colorful dishes in a no-frills atmosphere. They offer friendly counter service in a clean, bright dining room. Their menu is affordable if you order strategically. The enchiladas verde sauce is so good that I could drink it!

Excellent Salvadoran food! The pupusas are flavorful and fresh and I love how they give you 3 different containers of sauces at your table. I’m not entirely sure what two of the are but one is a cream sauce. I definitely felt like the portions were large and I left feeling stuffed. I also had to try the horchata which was fantastic. Service was super nice and friendly. I didn’t think it was slow at all. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I’m not sure what else to say. I can’t recommend this place enough! Parking was very easy as Tiko Riko is located in a strip mall.

This place was great. Food was fantastic. Looks family run. Reason I gave it a 4. No booze is served. But hey the food almost makes up for that! Try it!

I love Tiko Riko! The pupusas are the best. Friendly staff, generous portions. My husband and I like the revueltas the best. Goes great with an ice cold glass of horchata!

Yucca fries! I came in to pick-up a can of roasted coconut water… they were out! I stayed and ordered the Salvadorian platter. I am literally looking –up how to make my own yucca fries! Truly, made to order. I left with a full serving of chicken tamale, plantains, and some fries. In the practice of slow eating, I stayed for some time. I love this place!

I thought I had tasted it all. This place ROCKS! In a million years you would never expect this kind of food to be found in a off beat retail center. The pupusas(i had never heard of it) are made from home made corn meal(from scratch) and filled with your choice of fillings. I LOVE the chicken & cheese. For $ 6.75 you get 3 which is more than you can eat with a side of spicy slaw and a drink. The beans and rice are simply the best! Every dish is made to order. Not fancy but worth the drive and you will love every bite!!!

I saw constant high ratings so I thought they must be phoney reviews until I read the Seattle Times review which gave a rave rating. My wife and I stopped in and I have to admit, the food is great. I never had a papusa before but these things are great. Sort of like a corn pancake with different fillings. I highly recommend them. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall place but clean with friendly employees. We have been back a few times now and I always order something different and so far, everything is great. Don’t do like I did for so long and miss out on this great food. Oh, did I mention the very reasonable prices?
