Good coffee! The atmosphere was different… Very Seattle. I’m from Renton but I felt like an alien walking in there. That’s why I gave 4 instead of 5. They offered soy almond and rice milk. I had a double short soy vanilla latte and enjoyed it! I got it to go obviously.

This our first time. We came on a recommendation from a coworker. My friend purchased a latte and I purchased a drip. While she was not thrilled about the latte, the drip coffee was astounding. They served us Kuma Java from El Salvador. It was really great, not bitter and had a chocolate flavor to it. The people there are really friendly and it’s a old-time setting. If you love coffee, stop by here and get some!

This coffee shop is great! Pros + So many outlets, at least one outlet by each table + Smaller coffee shop but nowhere near as crowed as shops like Vivace or Victrola + Has lots of seating in the back, as well as a play area for kids + The baristas have attitude(what’s new Seattle?) but they have great tunes playing all day + They have good cold brew + Prices are average Cons + Bathrooms are not clean/maintained + Baristas have poor attitudes I love making the trek up the hill to come work here. The space is open and bright, has good coffee, and plenty of power outlets, what more do you need?

It sometimes blows my mind that the neighborhood spot can be this amazing. Usually those spots are loved for their history in the area, or immense knowledge of the ongoings in their regulars’ lives, but in addition to all of that Tougo is just so good. Best coffee I’ve had and it’s right down the block.

4 bucks for a large cold brew, which was fantastic. Comfy couch, strong internet. Sorta less than common coffee house music(heard some yeezy? Wtf? Haha). Overall, it’s just weird enough for me to love it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Damn what a great cappuccino! Perfectly made, both for taste and beauty. Plus, love the chill vibe at this place. Best Capp in a while.

Smooth perfect espresso pull with the some of the best foam I’ve experienced in a latte. Check this place out!

I did not enjoy my drinks here. I’m not sure if it was just the days I was there or what, but I wasn’t floored by what I got. I have visited twice. Sample size: espresso, macchiato, coffee Pros: 1. On espresso/milk drinks: good mixture of espresso to milk 2. My girlfriend got the Oolong tea, which tasted great Cons: 1. The espresso I got was SOUR; both times I was unable to finish my drink 2. The coffee was lackluster

Excellent rotating selection of coffees, friendly baristas(one of them spent 15 minutes teaching me how to do pour over at home), great aesthetic, and I like that the location is just slightly off the main strips of Cap Hill. There is a space in the back for kids to play, and that can make things a little rowdy on the weekends if you’re trying to come here to get work done, but I guess that’s more of a personal problem since you’re the one that came to a coffee shop with a kids’ area in the back.

Awesome music and vibes. Loved this coffee shop. Great tea selection, helpful barista and interesting drip coffee options. Yesterday’s was from Kenya and it offered a different taste for sure. The coconut vanilla earl grey was amazing! The music made the place great.

Coffee and music was on point when I stopped in. I appreciate the set up and the play area for kids… comfortable place by yourself or with your crew.

Incredible customer service paired with top-notch coffee = Tougo Coffee. So good! Very well-designed space, even a little kids area in the back which is fun if you have a family(it’s also separated enough from the other area so it doesn’t bother customers). They sell Heart, Supersonic, and Kuma Coffee, to name a few. They don’t roast their own, instead, they focus on service and fine-tuned preparation of these specialty coffees.

Great spot to bring little kids. I wish their selection of cold drinks were a little wider.

Had a shot of espresso — Stumptown brew. Delicious! Quick service and a god barista behind the wheel. Nice break from the chain cafes!

I like coming here, as the big tables are really great for working, especially with someone else! There seems to be plenty of electricity scattered around for use. Friendly people, not too crowded. There seems to be some sort of rumpus room in the back for kids. A little strange and out of place maybe, but there are some mothers and their offspring there at times. Two bathrooms in the back that you have to walk through the rumpus room to get to.

I would come back to this small neighborhood café. The atmosphere was cute and there were paintings on the wall for sale. It definitely had an artistic flair. My chai tea latte was pretty good, albeit very herbally, but I downed it quickly. Street parking wasn’t bad for a Sunday afternoon. The food choices were somewhat limited with prebaked baked goods, but the pumpkin loaf I had wasn’t bad. The seating area was okay; however the chairs were wooden and hard to sit on for long periods of time. For me, I couldn’t get comfortable in my seat. I sat on a main table where the chair was much lower than the height of the table, which made it very hard to work on my lap top. My suggestion would be to change this sitting area and make it much more comfortable for customers to hang out.

It’s a neat little neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee was great and décor was classic hipster style. The seating was very uncomfortable for me. I did try their pumpkin bread which was tasty. Maybe grab your coffee and go?

So happy we had another visit to @TougoCoffee ! This is such an unassuming café. The coffee they have from Ritual is both smooth and full bodied. Also I became acquainted with(new to me) Linea coffee, from another place in SF. I love discovering new coffee roasters! The customer service has been patient & friendly each time I’ve stopped in. 4 hearts instead of stars!

This review is for the Tougo Coffee(same company) inside the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle. I am currently working a weekend convention in the convention center. Yesterday I ordered a 16 oz triple nonfat sugar free vanilla latte at Tougo on a break. They charged me $ 6, which surprised me because I frequently pay $ 5 for the same drink(«triple grande skinny vanilla latte») at Starbucks. I didn’t say anything though, figuring they must charge a premium for the convenience of being inside the building. The espresso was burned and overall the drink was far too hot. Today I went back and ordered exactly the same drink. The cashier today, a highly androgynous teen or twenty-something dressed in ratty sweats from head to toe, told me it would be $ 4.60. Thinking I must have been overcharged the day before, I mentioned this, and the cashier said«Oh. I must have forgotten something. That’ll be $ 6.00 then.» Are you kidding me? I said«I guess I should have kept my mouth shut,» hinting at the CRAPPY customer service, and the cashier just stared at me waiting for the payment. Fine. I didn’t have a choice, since the barista had already finished making my drink, so I paid it. It tasted better today than yesterday, but not better enough to make up for the terrible customer service. The convention center was better off when this was a Tully’s Coffee, how it used to be.
