Travelodge Sea-Tac Airport North

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Stains on the carpet, stains on the sheets. Asked for pillows; never got them. Toilet backed up; asked for maintenance and was handed a plunger. Really! The guest is to fix things??? Is this your idea of the Wyndham Experience?

What a dump! This place is so run down it needs to be shut down only stay here as a last resort. I’m sure the homeless shelter is in better condition than this dump! Never again! YUCK!!!

If you can avoid this place please do so. No matter how cheap it is, it is not worth it! Please! My partner and I made the mistake of staying here. Where can I even begin? Our check in was supposed to be at 12:00 pm but when we arrived the young lady in the front desk told us she had no rooms ready and we had to wait about 2 hours to get an available room. After we checked in, as soon as we walked in the room we noticed the dirty carpet, the ants crawling around the furniture and a piece of gum on the furniture. During the 3 nights we stayed at the Travelodge, we experienced the most uncomfortable situation. The people staying next door to us were constantly yelling and fighting with one of the management staff making it very difficult for us to sleep. For the first time my partner and I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. Also, we never got new towels or even a change of sheets throughout the time we stayed here. It was the worst experience and we will never stay at a travelodge again.

Horrible. Room not vacuumed. 20 sheets of toilet paper left on the roll… when I finally decide go go to bed… THE BED HAS NO TOP SHEETS… Night clerks response; «was not fault… I came on at midnight»… 15 minutes later… he brings me sheets… after he leaves… I discover he gave me ONE sheet!!! Because I am SURE that who ever serviced the room put a new bottom sheet on… (to the staff of travelodge… that kast last comment was sarcasm)

Nightmare. They gave our room to someone else when we had reservations. We requested a non smoking on the first floor and were given an upstairs non smoking room. Or so we thought. There was cigarette ash inside our complimentary paper cups. Not to mention we needed a first floor room due to a family member on crutches. We were scared shitless of the neighborhood as we got to the room debating finding another place. There was some very sketchy activity going on outside. I would not suggest walking out of your room or across the street to Wendy’s. I had this vibe that I was going to be shanked. There was a passed out man with his big truck running all night and into the morning. I’m not sure if he was dead or blacked out. The parking lot is shared with what looks like a Chinese rub and tug lounge and also right next to a gentlemens club. The room had hairs of all sorts spread across each item on the beds. There was a disturbing brown stain on my pillow. I never felt safe for my health or well being. At least the cable worked.

After my first night at this rat hole I swear I will NEVER EVER come anywhere near this place. I flew in at 1am, checked in around 2am, and after all was said and done checking in I walk to the building on the other side of the office, unlock the door to my room only to find out that my room that I have booked a week in advance had a family of 4 sleeping in it!!! You know how much of a liability it is for me and for that family to have a complete stranger be given the keys to your room for them to just waltz in there that late at night?! Can the hotel staff be that stupid to realize the room has been reserved or at least have already been checked out?! Computer glitch my ass that was a complete liability on our lives and for the staff to be that negligent is way beyond UNACCEPTABLE!!!
So after I gently closed the door I called the front desk to let them know there are people already occupying my room. This itchbay had the nerve to act as if that wasn’t a big deal and told me she was going to send the security guard to give me a different key to another room and escort me. Ok. Security to escort me … Wtf red flag … After waiting in the Washington cold air for what seemed like a long time at 230/​3am turns out the security guard who was to escort me was busy trying to break up a hotel party on the same floor I was waiting for him on. The cops was called in … The whole nine yards. Turns out that bust ended up being a drug bust!!! Omg … Wtf is going on here … All I want to do is go in my room, take a shower, sleep, and take off from that rat hole along with my full refund the next morning. Finally the security guard spots me, gives me the keys to my new room, and of course my room happened to be the one right next door to the drug bust! And of course my room smelled entirely of marijuana. Seriously … Are you effing kidding me!
I can go on and on about this ghetto lab which proves to be enough for anybody with their right mind to not touch this place with a 2 foot pole! I complained about the incident to the manager the next morning and she looked straight through me as if she didn’t care. Pink hair and nails looking too ghetto fabulous as if you just came back from a Maury Povich special suits you just fine because you know what her and that entire staff can be sued for negligence as well as for endangering the lives of their guests by giving strangers keys to their rooms accidentally. I will be reporting this incident to the proper authorities and I pray this crap pot shuts down.

Room isn’t terrible. I suppose it is what you get for less than $ 50 a night. Still, the room smelled of smoke even though this a non-​smoking room, there were suspicious skids and marks on the walls and furniture, crappy TV reception, only hand towels were available in the room upon arrival and the mattress and sheets were dirty. Needless to say, I was grossed out touching the remote wondering the last time it was sanitized. Also, I couldn’t begin describe the feeling I got when walking on the carpet barefoot. Gross.

Used them to park my car while traveling through SeaTac. When we came back, first the curtesy phone for them: #26 didn’t work, in order to call them for SeaTac pickup. Then we used the phone number they provided: no answer after maybe 20 rings. We called the corporate number who couldn’t also join them
We had to take a taxi instead of their shuttle ($ 12).
When we tried to ask the desk what is going on, we were rudely talked to and said that the phone is working and it never rang and yes the curtesy phone #26 doesn’t work!
Even if the rate is good the customer service is not existing

You get what you pay for. Staff appeared to be friendly but that’s all that this place really had going for it. The place is pretty out dated and located in a sketchy spot. All kinds of random people hanging out in the parking lot through out the night. Probably because it’s right next door to what appears to be a restaurant/​bar/​lounge. The walls and windows are thin so you here everything outside. My room appeared to be clean but sure didn’t feel like it. There was also a weird random odor. If you need a spot to stay the night for cheap, I guess this will do. I’d recommend spending the extra money and staying in a reputable hotel. If you do stay here, don’t leave anything in your car.

Its my 4^th hotel this month under $ 120 per night near the seatac airport. So far, in my experience, its the cleanest in its category. Overall, a little worn but very do-​able. The room décor leans twds the 80s/​90s era but is still holding up nicely. Staff was busy cleaning in the hall when we arrived. Only downside i noticed was the ‘stairs only option’…elevator not included. Walls are average noise buffers… nothing special or out of the ordinary. Vending machines on 1^st floor.
Major pluses:
+ we were allowed to check-​in an hour earlier than scheduled. :)
+ direct hotel online booking cost less than discount websites.
+ airconditioner unit was fabulous!
+ provided on demand airport shuttle.

Nothing really special but the room was clean and the front desk attendant was helpful. The chair was broken and the tub wouldn’t stay plugged but for the price, you can’t really complain.

If there was an option to give 0 stars i would have done it. Ok the price is low for the stay but at least, AT LEAST let the bed’s be clean. But they were gross as gross can be. It was all stained and dirty. We asked for clean sheets and an hour later they came to give us a new one. He walked away and told us to make the bed ourselfs. We were outraged the way we were threated. We got our tabled and searched for another hotel so we hadn’t have to stay in this dump that they call an Hotel. My advise: Pay a little more for a more plesant stay. Dont say it might cost too much. Cause if you stay at this hotel you might throw up. I’m sorry for my strong word’s but there was no othey way to describe this place!

Listen for one, you pay for what you get. if u look at it that way. It was ok. hella quite .maybe not a great area but who cares Ure not going to be hanging around outside much. but has a store and Wendy’s and a strip club 50 feet away. I gave it 4stars just because it’s worth the money. its a 2star motel but clean and this all u can ask for!!! and fridge and microwave and wifi …,

No, this is not a fancy hotel. but the price we paid was amazing for the location and our needs. Seatac airport is seconds away on the shuttle. Tukwila station is minutes away by walk. from the station it is a 30minute train ride to the city centre (5.50 $/​day/​adult). rooms were reasonably sized and clean. there was free breakfast (not recommended.).
next time I’m in seattle, I will definitely return here for the price and convenience.

Wow not sure why bad reviews this place is cheap but clean, great staff, large mini fridge and continental breakfast! Dude I’m so coming back on my few hour lay overs for sure! Staff gets two thumbs up and I don’t do that

We stayed here in the past and it wasn’t that bad of an experience, but this time was terrible. We would not stay here again.
The experience started when we arrived to check in about 10pm at night. The front desk lady was very frazzled and almost seemed scared. Everything we asked for, she was either uncertain or unable to accommodate (seems to be a problem with management being stingy).
When we finally got checked in, we were given a smoking room (we requested non-​smoking — two in our party have asthma and I have allergies). The room smelt disgusting. There was a hole in our bathroom door, the carpet is stained, the outlets didn’t work, we could hear every noise the people upstairs made (stomp stomp stomp stomp at 12am) and we didn’t have enough towels.
The icing on the cake was when the morning front desk lady was incredibly rude to my Mom about asking for a late check out.
When we boarded the airport shuttle the driver was on his mobile phone having a conversation in Hindi. He never once acknowledged us or asked us which airline or terminal we needed. Also he wouldn’t turn on the air conditioning in the shuttle.
Bad bad experience.

This is an inexpensive motel. There were a lot of things that looked pretty old and slightly damaged in the room so you must posses some good humor. Overall, the lady at the front worked tirelessly to help and accommodate everyone, the room was worn but clean, I felt safe, and there was a nice little free breakfast thing and a free shuttle. If you absolutely require wifi, make sure you get a room close to the office as the wifi doesn’t work in the farther away rooms.

Don’t do it! Rude front desk women. Dead bugs on supposedly fresh linen. Mismatching décor. Broken door locks. Holes in the bedsheets and cigarette burns (in a non smoking room). This is my second time staying here. We got the hotel reserved from Priceline. the front desk manager P. Rhanda was such a bitch. She argued with us about the price we received on priceline and kept telling us to cancel the reservation. The booking said we got a room with a fridge and microwave, this woman said they were «sold out» and we should have called first. She disregarded the reservation that we made online and tried to get us some other price. When we stayed there before there was no weekly rate and we were told they never offered it. All of a sudden, this woman is telling us they do and we should cancel the reservation and telling us she is the «one doing us a favor». It took us so long to check in because she argued with us about our reservation and said «that’s why we should call them directly» instead of booking online. I would have appreciated her just checking us in. There are always cars in the parking lot but never enough people to match where all the cars are coming from. And folks, the neighborhood IS sketchy. Not only is there refugees walking up and down the street and they have some kind of community center there. But there are thugs of all walks of lif eon the ave, hanging out, watching you. And suspicious characters outside. I don’t feel safe going outside to the wendys or mcdonalds even though it is so close, I always feel like I’m gonna get shanked.
It took almost an hr checking in with all of the foolishness and they didn’t even tell us the wifi code or that there was maintenance being done in the room. We had to wait outside while electrical work and housecleaning was being done. It would have been nice to know about the damn hole in bathroom above the shower too… how great. First time I stayed a couple months ago, the young girl at the front desk withthe snoooki hair do was so rude. She didn’t even speak. She didn’t utter a response. I had to say hi three times and she didn’t say a word. Oh and thin ass sheets. Not the room we paid for on priceline. And the manager got pissed off when we couldn’t get the reservation canceled to take her «deal», I didn’t know what was the problem. We had a reservation. just fucking honor it. Oh, the tv volume cuts on and off on its own. Oh noooo alarm cloccckkkkkk and old furniture. Continental breakfast is a joke too.
There were three different check in times on three different signs in the office. And somebody tell me why skyway inn’s van was driving and parking back and forth in the lot. Smh. There were stains on the carpet and chairs; broken furniture in the room and filthy walls and lampshades. I have never had a hotel experience like this. I thought Travelodge was a trusted brand – these people are running the Travelodge name in the ground. I will never stay at another Travelodge again as long as I live. The hole above our shower started opening up and we were told that we would have someone coming to fix it the next day. Noone came. We had to actually go to THEM with pictures for them to act, they switched us to a smoking room, which is not what we asked for when we checked in – we had made it clear that we wanted a non smoking room as our reservation stated. This room had carpet pieces falling apart, wet, dirt stains on the carpet. The tv channels cut in and out and the sink took two hands to pull up the lever to turn on. The WiFi was down from 2pm yesterday and at 7pm, it was still not working. I called the front desk several times to check and the lady hung up on me. I called back and she had «no idea» when it was getting turned back on. She kept saying «they’re working on it». I called PriceLine and complained. They told me we could Check out this morning with no penalty and the representative said there would be no problem and that it would be a normal checking out. This morning, when we went to check out, the manager again gave us a problem. She argued with me about the changes, saying that she was not going to give me my money back and that she needed some cancellation fax from PriceLine. I had the email on my phone to show her but she refused to look at it. Never again

The WORST customer service in the Pacific NW. Parking follows close behind.
I needed a hotel that was close to Sea-​Tac Airport with free shuttle for an early morning flight. An upscale hotel wasn’t warranted since it was just for a less than 10 hour stay & Priceline had a decent deal for this Travelodge.
Upon arriving we noticed every parking spot except one was occupied. There were about 15 – 20 vehicles double parked & some lined along the fire lane. We were told the cars were parked long-​term here instead of the airport. Uh, okaaay. Walking in the small lobby we weren’t greeted nor even smiled at after I approached the counter. I gave her my name & after a few key strokes she placed two room keys on the counter telling me it’s upstairs. Alright. Thanks for that wonderful welcome.
We entered the room & noticed it wasn’t the room I purchased through Priceline. We walk back downstairs & she gave us different room keys. The room was again on the second floor but clear on the other side of the building. Walking along the balcony toward the room we noticed every room we passed was vacant. Why did she put us in the very last room?
After dropping off our luggage we left to spend the evening in Seattle & returned to Travelodge to find zero parking. We found one by the chinese restaurant next door but I was afraid my car would get towed due to the «violators will be towed» sign. Entering the lobby the same gal was at the front desk. She was extremely irritated that I requested she write my car info down to avoid a tow. We both wanted to punch her in the face by then.
We returned to our room & lights out. Nope. The outside light pointed directly into the room & with the curtains drawn it still lit up the room. We slept maybe three hours & I had to be at the airport by 5:30am. Also, while getting ready for bed we had the old school TV on but it ended up being on as background noise. The picture quality was so blurry. I understood how a person with bad vision feels without their glasses.

Parking: 1 star
Travelodge: Replace the hotel staff, don’t provide the parking lot as long-​term airport parking, upgrade the TVs, & adjust the corner motel lights outward.

I think those who have left previous reviews are crazy. The neighborhood was not «sketchy», it was just lower SES than they are used to I’m sure. It’s not a five star hotel with valet and luxurious amenities — it’s a MOTEL. It was clean and kept well, and staff was friendly and accommodating.
You get what you pay for and I was very pleased with my stay Friday, May 24^th — Monday, May 27^th. I would stay here again.
