The service here is legitimately one of the worst I have ever encountered in my life. I was served by a lady with glasses at the counter and she responded to each question(eg how long do I have to wait for my order) I had with a horrible and incredibly off-putting attitude. I had been waiting my entire stay in Seattle to try the sausages here and unfortunately, the service and disrespect I felt from her overpowered anything I could taste. She was so unbelievably rude to my mom and me and ruined an otherwise pleasant morning for us. I’m sure the food here is great and I am disappointed that I will be leaving Seattle without being able to experience that.

So it smells super good and looks super good but poor service. I’m from LA and I’m on vacation doing the tourist thing and one of the dudes here is super rude. We’ve been waiting to sit no 1 has called us in and it’s self seating but too busy to sit right now… which is fine I can wait but I don’t really wanna spend money somewhere when the people have a bad attitude. The girl who said she’d call us was busy so we walked in and a guy told us to go back out until there was room and there were 2 open tables…

Fantastic little bundles of meaty goodness. You can taste the freshness and all the different flavors. Lots o’love in those little wieners!

PHENOMENAL!!! if you in pikes market you have to stop by. I had the oonze and I was a bit intimidated by the cream cheese but the combination is amazing. Staff is really sweet too. I highly recommend this place.

This place is small and sort of grungy, but nestled in the well-known Pike Place Market with an obvious local following. I had the garlic breathe sausage sandwich. It was definitely good. My only complaint is the clunky, crunchy, too large of a bun choice and the fact that the toppings all spilled out on the first bite. But it was decently tasty!

My family and I grilled Uli’s sausage that we purchased from there, and it was the best sausage ever!!! The chorizo was my favorite :) I’d highly recommend stopping by for your next cookout!

Sausage was good. The wait was long though. We just ordered one sausage to try and we had to wait around 20 – 30 minutes for the sausage. The sausage was good overall. It was flavorful and fresh. However, for the price, I expected a little more. Good place to try though.

Had my first visit to this Pike Place landmark on a recent visit. As luck would have it, I was the first person there that morning and had the whole place to myself(for about 5 minutes). It’s a great spot to watch the crowds of people walk by while enjoying something tasty. I had the two sausage tray(one heavy garlic chicken and one bacon pork sausage) along with coleslaw, red cabbage, and potato salad(added as a side). While the sides are not bad, the real stars of the show(of course) are the sausages. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place!

We now stop in here whenever we are in Seattle. It’s a tiny shop in Pike Place Market. You walk by and see a small case with a variety of delicious looking sausage. Inside they have some tables and you can order sandwiches or a tray with a variety of sausages of your choosing. The sauerkraut is excellent. Check in on Unilocal for a discount.

Right in the middle of the busiest part of Pike’s Place on the main level. Go to where the«flying fish» is, take a right and walk through the market… after 2 or so shops, you’ll find it on your left. 1. It IS that place that has a display full of sausages. 2. They DO have indoor seating(I’ve always missed this) 3. Since they cook to order and their sausages are nice and thick, it does take some time for your order to cook — not a «quick» grab and go lunch place. 4. It is… freaking delicious. Ordered a GARLICBREATH(5⁄5) because I’m obsessed with polish sausage and I’m not a fan of sauerkraut. I’m pretty sure one of the guys walked over to Le Panier to get a fresh baked french roll and walked back into the store. No complaints there! The sausage was cooked to perfection with the tight casing storing all of that meaty juicy goodness was a delight to bite into, flavor bursting out with every bite. The grilled onions and stone ground mustard were nice complements to the sausage — the onions adding a soft and subtle sweet flavor and the mustard seeds adding a crunch and spice that was strong but not overpowering. The garlic aoili… I only got hints of this because there were other strong flavors in this but it wasn’t missed. Also ordered 2 sides: — POTATOSALAD(4⁄5): different than what I was expecting. warm? had tons of dill and meat chunks in it which was nice and surprising. not an «American» potato salad, not as creamy — APPLEPOPPYSLAW(3⁄5): nice fresh crunch to counterbalance the juicy fattiness from the sausage but fell short. wasn’t vinegary enough or maybe just didn’t sit in the marinade long enough? For a sandwich and two sides, was around $ 14(take a gander at the menu attached). so a little pricier but quality of the sandwich was on point so I don’t mind paying a premium… just would skip the sides next time. Happy eating! :D

I love the sausage n the topping on my sandwich. The Cajun flavor, u have to try. Also, when I was reading the story, I didn’t expect this international flavor has starting from Taipei. This is really surprising me! Btw, the waiter was sitting next to me n took my order, I felt wired at the beginng but after that I thought that’s how family style it is. Cool ! Nice place. Willing to come back.

About the South African boerewors: I understand that vinegar has multiple uses in improving flavor, preserving food or even improving appearance, but personally I do not expect authentic boerewors to have a strong sour taste and be the underlying flavor of this sausage. But then this is a personal preference since I grew up making and eating this sausage. So perhaps this taste will appeal to others. I appreciate the business being so responsive and getting back to me. I think it’s great they present this opportunity for others to try sausages from around the world.

Got the 4 sausage house plates and didn’t expect the amount of food that came out! Pictured from top to bottom are merquez(came with 3 smaller sausages), Hungarian, Louisiana hot link, and nurnberger(also 3 smaller sausages). All were incredible and delicious, and it came with sides of red cabbage and sauerkraut. At each table was Dijon and stone ground mustards, which perfectly complimented the sausages. Will absolutely come here again and try the rest.

–The Uli(German sausage, sautéed onions, curry ketchup, Dijon, and sauerkraut) This was my first time. My buddy from Munich told me about this guy Uli making it to America to start his own business. One thing I know about Germans is quality and perfection. I can’t say this was perfection heaven but I can say that this was a quality wurst. Thick and hardy sausage here.

South African sausage to go was underwhelming. It took them 15 minutes, the sausage was dry and didn’t have a flavor that grabbed me(reappearing theme with sausage reviews below). Way to much bread as the roll was given, mustard, onions and red cabbage wasn’t as plentiful as one would expect with so much bread. Uli brats — pretty good, not disappointed with these. Made at home with onions and mustard. Not nearly the best I’ve had either. Bangers — not a great banger, flavor was again underwhelming. I’ve had much better.

Really good value especially for a Pike’s Place destination. Uli’s is a small restaurant with some indoor seating, specializing in sausage(cooked ayers, sandwiches, and uncooked to go). They are hard to find(the pin on Unilocal isn’t accurate) — Uli is on the water front side of Pike’s, on the south side of Pikes before the fish market. They offer cooked food(after 11am only) which include sausage platters and sandwiches. For only $ 14 I got THREE sausages and a generous side of sauerkraut and red cabbage! Options: 1, 2, or 3 sausages and 2 sides. The sausages are pretty large(harhar) and they’re really interesting tasting, most were too course and herbal for my taste(e.g. African?). Overall a good spot for specialty sausages — and super affordable — but I was just not a big fan. Note: it took 15 minutes to cook 3 sausages(to go) without a line. Can’t imagine the wait during peak hours!

You must try their sausages if you are around Pike Place especially with a cold one. Take some for the road too. Their meats are excellent and of high quality. Usually they have a seasonal creation that is worth a try but you can’t go wrong as their entire selection of bratwurst and sausages is to die for. The German authenticity is palpable and for the connoisseur, the variety of choices makes this stop so much more exciting. I have friends that recommend this spot for a quick lunch midweek. Great change of scene for those chained to their downtown desks. You will not be disappointed.

This place is the real deal. I got the curry sausage and it was one of the best sausages I’ve had since I traveled through Germany. It was a great experience and the curry sandwich was awesome($ 8). There were sides like fries and coleslaw for around $ 3 but I didn’t try any of them and I was filled from the sandwich. They also had a few of my favorite beers on tap but it was the workday so I didn’t check how much they were. Probably one of the best places in Pike Street Market.

First ever visit to Seattle(we’re from Cali. via Melbourne via NZ) for our 14th anniversary and I couldn’t be happier to have stumbled over Uli’s. Not having ever heard of it and therefore not expecting anything amazing my husband and I were like«hell yeah, who doesn’t love a banger for lunch, right?!». The seating was limited but we were happy to secure a table quickly. Lots of great sounding items but I felt the saussie platter with selected sides was a great deal. While we were waiting we tried a TWC cider and it was delicious! The food took a little while but no big deal as it was worth the wait. My fav was the pork and apple brat, chorizo andouille and my hubby’s was the bacon sausage, coz what man doesn’t want pig to the power of 2?!. Sauerkraut and slaw were great but we felt the potatoes had a «weird» taste. Overall, if you visit Pikes, get to this place.
